We had full board.. Breakfast and dinner are normal, but lunch is soup and a second course to choose from two options. Some kind of salad would be highly desirable, especially since there are an abundance of salads for breakfast. I was also surprised that to any comment or request regarding procedures there is a polite answer that this is not a sanatorium, but a hotel. So what is there? And how correct is this answer? After all, decent money is paid for the procedures. They even charged 6 euros for a statement about the procedures performed! We vacationed in Karlovy Vary many times, where they themselves provided a statement, even without asking.

At the first meeting, the head nurse very rudely stated that they had a hotel, not a sanatorium. And that's exactly how it is. They prescribe 3-4 sessions of decent procedures (mud, massage, baths) in two weeks, which is not enough for a full course of treatment. There is no permanent doctor at the hotel; she arrives in the evening upon the arrival of new vacationers. There is no children's doctor, they don't take tests. It seems that appointments are made not according to indications, but as it is convenient for the nurses performing the procedures. One of the girls at the reception is very rude. Although we liked the hotel and food, we definitely won’t come here again.

The sanatorium is perfectly located: close to the water, the park, and important ruins. I really liked the decor & interior: a combination of antiquity and modernity. The rooms are spacious, overlooking the park. The treatment is very varied. The food is similar to diet food. At any time of the day you can sit in the cafe inside or outside. The cleanliness is perfect. I plan to return here next year.

We arrived taking with us X-rays, fresh tests specially made for our arrival, and examinations on a computed tomograph. The doctor didn't even look at them. For example, the doctor prescribed me ambroge mineral water, and this source is always closed in winter. The doctor does not delve deeply, or cannot, or does not want, the prescriptions are standard. The staff works well, especially the maid - Eva on the 4th floor. The first week the food was of high quality thanks to the hotel's professional chef. In terms of treatment, there is almost everything, massage, mud, gas injections and a bag - nothing seemed useless, so I recommend it. The location is wonderful, quiet place, there is no road nearby, the colonnade is opposite, almost door to door. There is a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and for 120 CZK per hour you can warm up in the sauna.

If you really want to get treatment, you shouldn’t take the treatment package because... the doctor is there instead of a doll who prescribes the same treatment for everyone, regardless of the disease. The nurse is arrogant and rude in communication. The spa staff are very polite and pleasant and efficient. But you need to take treatment privately and go to a private doctor who really knows what you need and it’s not expensive. The food was not bad at all and varied, but juices and teas were paid for. You have to be careful when paying in a restaurant; not everyone gives you change. There was evening entertainment twice. Not bad information. In general, if we go again (I hope so), then I would rent a hotel, but I would not take treatment there, but would go to a private doctor. I recommend the Sun Hotel to everyone. As for treatment, either know what you need, check it on Google or Talk to people who have already taken treatment or go to a private doctor who will check everything, blood and pressure, etc. and of course you need to go for at least two weeks or even more, we were only there for a week. The Sun Spa Hotel is in the best location. Very close to the springs. Beautiful view from the window. We didn’t have a balcony... but this didn’t spoil our holiday. The room was large and bright.... cleaned every day. Towels were changed every day. morning. The staff is friendly.. courteous. during our entire stay we did not hear a single bad word or dissatisfaction.... WELL DONE. The doctor prescribed the treatment according to our wishes.... and on his recommendation.... in addition we took a course of vitamins .The treatment staff is very kind and attentive.Patient with us....I especially want to thank the massage therapist.We really enjoyed being in this hotel.Negatives
