We rested and received treatment in this sanatorium from November 12 to 27. Only good impressions. Treatment is organized without queues, with very attentive and friendly staff. And the food is just a fairy tale! We went to the pool, and then just a wonderful hammam bath. A very beautiful lounge where you can sit after dinner and listen to mesmerizing music. We were there for the fifth time - that also says something. We advise everyone to visit friendly, sunny Azerbaijan and, of course, stay at the Chinar sanatorium!

We were previously in the Karabakh sanatorium, then 2 times in the Chinar sanatorium. Very good sanatorium. Check-in went quickly. We booked different rooms, they are really different: the “standard” is a small room, everything is there, as indicated on the website, but a very small bathroom, instead of a shower, a corner separated by a curtain, where it’s difficult to wash your hair normally, but it’s clean, the staff is polite. The treatment is good, but before arriving you should definitely consult with doctors about the possibility of taking baths with naphthalan, as there are many contraindications. Wonderful pool - large and clean. The food is good, buffet style, quite varied menu. The staff is wonderful, very polite, always serving with a smile. It would be necessary to think about the organization of treatment in physiotherapy rooms - there is a lot of crowding, there is a very thin partition between the cabins, which does not allow you to relax for a better understanding of the procedure. Sometimes you wait a long time to be called for a procedure, while locals vacationing at the sanatorium undergo the procedure right away. The TV channels are chosen strangely, there are no central channels.

The treatment is super, after the second bath I started to sleep, the radicular pain went away, I feel like everything 💯. The kitchen is a completely separate matter. I have never eaten anything tastier than Azerbaijani cuisine, a huge hello to chef Timur and all the staff. Availability everywhere, wonderful air. The treatment is very doubtful. Of course, I can’t discuss the benefits of Naftalan baths themselves, most likely they are really useful, provided that you do not take hot baths, baths, saunas, or swimming pools for a month so that Naftalan does not come out through the pores (not a single doctor warns about this FOR WHY ). Doctors at the sanatorium are a completely separate issue. I wouldn’t call them doctors, but medical staff for example. They don’t really look at anything, they practically make appointments with their eyes closed, ultrasound of the abdominal organs in 30 seconds, for example!!!!! Such an express ultrasound has never happened before. Everyone’s blood was taken for hepotitis and, without waiting for the results, they were sent to common baths, etc. The massage is very questionable. After my request to massage only my back for half an hour, there was surprise in the eyes of the masseur, and the question “what can you do with your back for so long?” I'm already in a stupor. The food is not bad, but the vegetables are Turkish (and for a minute, this is in Azerbaijan!!!!). When preparing juice, fruits can become rotten (this happened with pomegranates).
