The place offers little variety. If you love peace and quiet, this is the right place for you. Excursion destinations in the surrounding area are rare; A cable car leads to a beautiful viewpoint with hiking opportunities, but be careful, the last ride is 4 p.m.! If you come by car, it's better to drive to the neighboring Czech Republic, e.g. B. to Pec pod Sněžkou to the cable car to Sněžka or to Frýtlant Castle. Very mountainous terrain, less suitable for someone who is less able to walk. Because of the roads, you should also travel by car via Zittau, Friedland. than via Görlitz. The spa treatment itself was great, but the service was less so: hardly any of the staff spoke German or English (not so in the Kurhaus cafe, where they serve good things). No multilingual information material!
