1. There is no Internet at all, there is practically no connection in the rooms, we had to go out into the hall or go downstairs. 2. Room cleaning is very poor. 3. The soundproofing of the rooms is weak, noisy neighbors walked behind the wall in the evenings, there was practically no sleep for several days. 4. Musicians near the Colonnade and the clatter of horse-drawn carts’ hooves greatly interfere with proper rest during the day.

Only the placement was good, because opposite the room on the street side there were hammer drills that worked day and night, which prevented proper sleep, especially in the first days. Everything else was good. The room is clean and comfortable. Very friendly and conscientious staff, especially the masseuse, unfortunately I forgot her name. Third floor number 6. I would like to note the work of doctor Andrei Belov, who finds an individual approach to each patient and prescribes appropriate treatment. Very polite and friendly. The cuisine was excellent, a wide variety of dishes, salads, pastries, fruits. Everything is prepared with soul and very tasty. They came up with a very good idea with the tea room. Especially on cold days, tea with lemon and honey was very helpful. I wish the entire team further prosperity and success in everything. Thanks a lot, everyone!!! There is no negativity towards the Astoria sanatorium.!!! Some vacationers left a not very good impression. This applies to the kitchen. They picked up a lot of everything, but didn’t even eat half of it. It was unpleasant to see such a blasphemous attitude towards food.

I rested at the Astoria sanatorium from December 26 to January 9. The holiday turned out to be wonderful, starting from the beautiful room, which overlooked a tiny courtyard, and ending with the treatment. The staff is friendly and approachable. I was late for physical therapy once, but the girl nurse didn’t send me away, she simply rescheduled me for another time. All procedures were prescribed according to the case, and all, without exception, worked for the benefit of the body. There are no cons. I will come to this hotel again.

Room cleaning is disgusting. We stayed from 26.12 to 9.01, second floor, view of the Colonnade. During all this time, the room was vacuumed only twice, there was no wet cleaning. There is a layer of dust on tables, bedside tables, window sills. Windows and mirrors are dirty. In two weeks there was only one change of linen. The quality of food has deteriorated compared to previous visits, everything is quite monotonous, and you get bored quickly. The price included New Year's dinner, which was even worse than usual. The sanatorium itself, of course, is no longer young, but internal modernization is producing good results. The procedures are carried out very well and on time. The staff knows their job. The canteen also has well-trained and polite staff. The food (buffet) is very varied and prepared mainly with dieters in mind (not too salty, not spicy). Nevertheless, it was prepared very well and the choice of dishes for a hotel of this category is extensive. The cost of the trip and the services received are in an excellent ratio. We didn't notice any particular negativity, but nevertheless, like everywhere else, it exists. I don’t know whether a certain time is allocated for cleaning rooms or not, but I believe that it is impossible to clean a room efficiently in five minutes. The procedures sometimes coincided with breakfast (breakfast is in two shifts, so it is limited in time to 1 hour), but, of course, no one was left hungry. Sound insulation is also not the best, but all this is not so tragic. And it all depends on the person’s mood.....
