Just returned from Marianske Lazne. A beautiful region with magnificent architecture and nature. Unfortunately, my 2-week vacation was pretty spoiled by the conditions of the Krivan Hotel. This hotel is a 4 star hotel. Ignorant people buy into this. In fact, it doesn't even deserve 3 stars. As soon as I opened the door to my room for the first time, I was greeted by an old, unpleasant, stale smell. I wanted to ventilate the room immediately. I opened the window, and there, in the upper compartment of the double window, large, black flies were already waiting for me. I counted about 12 of them. To prevent them from flying into the room, I began to drive them out with the help of a towel. On the table there was a plate containing 3 apples and a rotting orange, moldy on one side. The next surprise is the pillows. They are completely thin, flat, as if they haven’t been changed in 10 years. There is a nasty smell of urine in the toilet and bathroom. I fought it by hanging up a car air freshener. It helped for 1 day. I also bought lavender oil. The aroma mixed with a bad smell. There was nothing more I could do, since the unpleasant smell was coming from the internal openings of the toilet. Did you feel like taking a shower? Please just be prepared to play with the hot and cold water handle. We set it to the desired temperature, and after half a minute the water becomes very hot. You add cold water. After half a minute, the water in the shower becomes completely cold. No matter how sophisticated you are, you will have to constantly turn the handle of the tap, as if you were sitting behind the wheel of a car, turning the steering wheel left and right. After several days of struggling with the shower, the desire to wash yourself disappears completely, and if you still decide to do it, then you will not be able to restrain yourself from swearing, believe me. The neighbors on both sides turned out to be smokers. Whenever I wanted to get some fresh air, cigarette smoke would rush in through the window. So I waited for 2 hours until the neighbors were already completely high, so that I could finally ventilate the room. I tried to change my number, but was refused. They said all the rooms were occupied. It is worth noting that the sign, which is usually hung on the outside door handle, reads - DO NOT DISTURB! There was no one at the hotel. There is no lock on the doors in the bathroom or toilet. That is, if the cleaning lady comes to clean your room while you are in the toilet or taking a shower at the same time, an awkward situation may occur. The door to the toilet and bathroom must be closed. The dining room is Mama Mia! As soon as you enter it, you immediately find yourself in the Soviet Union and its atmosphere of scarcity. Were you planning on a buffet? But no! You will be asked to pre-record one of two options for lunch and dinner each morning. You won't die from hunger, but you won't get any pleasure from food. They never even found buns made from whole flour, only white ones. But the dark bread was still sliced. After 3 days of visiting the canteen, I made a firm decision to eat on my own, buying various products in the supermarket, as well as dining in city restaurants, because eating at a hotel is simply humiliating. People there complained to each other, winced, but ate. Everyone was shocked. I chose a different path. And finally, I was supposed to leave the room at 10:00 in the morning, but they sent a cleaning lady to my room at 9:30, meaning I was already kicked out. I had to unload my suitcases and leave the room ahead of time. Believe me, it's not pleasant. What does the hotel administration count on? Unclear. A person works hard, waits for a vacation once a year to relax, get pleasure, good impressions, gain mental strength, but only gets shock and disappointment. I can say with confidence: those who somehow unknowingly ended up in this place will never come here. When booking, it should be noted that the Hotel Krivan is designed more for Russian-speaking guests, then there will be no misunderstandings. With the exception of 2 ladies at the reception, no one spoke German or English, so communication turned out to be very difficult. First of all, the hotel should invest in a decent coffee machine, the coffee offered (soluble) is inedible. The restaurant exudes more of the charm of a canteen than a restaurant. If you can rate the breakfast buffet as adequate, both lunch and dinner are unreasonable. You can choose between 3 dishes, but they are all equally poor in quality. There is no starter or dessert buffet at all. For dinner there is a bowl of salad, you either eat it or leave it alone. It's the same salad every night. Soup is also served, if it tastes as good as it looks, I would stay away. The staff seems rushed and not very motivated. The furnishings in the rooms are long past their prime; they appear old and worn out. The cleaning of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. The light at the entrance works by a sensor - extremely foolish for a private room as it kept turning on and off while we were looking for clothes in the closet or just moving in the room. Если у клиента была проблема с высотой ванны, он мог что-то сказать на ресепшн и в баню доставили ступеньку. Если клиент не делал этого во время пребывания, мы не можем знать, что у клиента проблемы с принятием ванны. Рядом с сауной или джакузи нет раздевалок, мы предполагаем, что клиенты переодеваются в комнате.
