Treatment abdominal adhesions (adhesions in the abdominal region) in Frantiskovy Lazne
Adhesive disease is characterized by the formation of connective tissue cords (adhesions) between the peritoneum and internal organs. Adhesions in most cases form after surgery. Symptoms depend on the location of adhesions, the disease can proceed without symptoms or appear suddenly and acutely, requiring urgent hospitalization in the surgical department. Acute conditions are usually caused by bowel obstruction, the symptoms of which are severe pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, constipation or diarrhea. Frequent attacks of vomiting cause dehydration, which are complemented by a decrease in blood pressure, weakness and constant fatigue. Adhesive disease is treated conservatively, pain is suppressed, and the formation of new adhesions is prevented. In urgent cases, with regular relapses and exacerbations, surgical intervention is indicated.
