The lake is always warm, so even in winter you can safely swim in it. The town is small, but there are many different shops. The air is extraordinary!!! By bus you can get to Keszthely in 5 minutes and walk along the Balaton embankment, feed the swans, and also visit the Festetics Palace. Also many excursions outside Heviz are organized: Budapest, Vienna, Pécs and many other excursions
