The Carlsbad Wellness Hotel Villa Lauretta is located in the heart of the resort area of Karlovy Vary, 200 meters away from the therapeutic drinking thermal springs of the Garden Colonnade. The Mill Colonnade is 550 meters away and the Hot Colonnade is 650 meters away.
The hotel occupies a historic building built between 1879 and 1881, originally named "Villa Schwalb" in honor of the first owner Alfred Schwalb. The Lauretta Hotel has only 18 rooms, allowing for a personalized experience for each guest. In 2021-2022 all windows in the hotel were replaced, the furniture was partially renewed, and in 2023 the first floor and kitchen were completely renovated.
The hotel offers a personalized approach to dining. Available diets include diabetic, lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian, and detox.
All therapeutic and recreational procedures are carried out in the new treatment center located directly in the hotel building. The treatment department is equipped with the latest medical equipment.

Lauretta has a good location in relation to the thermal springs. The staff here, both in my opinion and in the opinion of the guests, are very friendly and all services are of high quality.
The rooms in the spa hotel are spacious and have a balcony. In the restaurant, guests are provided with dietary meals, but lunch here is a little non-standard: guests are provided with only two types of soup, salads, bakery products and several types of tea. Guests write in their reviews that this assortment is not enough, but according to the staff of the spa hotel guests like such a lunch, as the dishes are light and do not load the stomach, which is important when undergoing a drinking therapeutic course with thermal water
The medical department at Lauretta is compact, offering guests a small range of procedures, which is sufficient for undergoing a general strengthening treatment course. The downside is the lack of thermal water directly supplied to the medical department for procedures. Medical programs are provided under medical supervision. Throughout your stay at the hotel, you can consult a doctor free of charge for additional questions, have your blood pressure measured, and receive prescriptions for prescribed medications. Medical programs conclude with a detailed summary of the examinations conducted, treatments received, accompanied by recommendations for further examinations and prescription of medication. Conclusions can be issued in English, Czech, and Russian.
