I was pleased with my stay in Karlovy Vary. The pandemic had left its mark, so there were no people at all. A very beautiful town with wonderful walks, amazing nature. The sanatorium is small, the atmosphere is almost family-like, the staff is wonderful, everyone is very attentive, polite, the atmosphere is very warm. Excellent massage, light treatments, normal food, Czech cuisine, clean and pleasant. Very clean throughout the hotel and rooms. I had a good rest and will come back to the same sanatorium in the spring.Negatives

The hotel was 4*, but there was no minibar, or at least water in the room, I arrived after 20:00 and since all the shops in the area were already closed, I had to drink water from the tap until the morning, this is a big minus, add then there is a separate charge for the minibar, but at least you can put water in the refrigerator for a 4* hotel??? Well, parking, many people at the moment during the pandemic drive their own transport, last time another hotel immediately provided us with parking information at registration, gave us a separate map and showed in detail where to park the car for 5 euros per day, in this hotel with This was a problem, I’m a solo traveler, and I had to look for parking myself, I found a free overnight parking, but before 7 am, of course there was stress in the morning, I ran back to registration with the question where can I park the car?? In the morning, another woman informed me and I finally found parking for 2 days, free of charge. But it was still stressful. I think it's worth thinking through this issue carefully. A 4* hotel is not only about cleanliness and fresh renovation, it is primarily about amenities for guests. P/S but despite my late arrival at 20:00 I was provided with dinner separately, thank you very much to the reception for this. But still there should be water in the room!

Very small dining room, poor choice of food. Dinner starts very early, at 17:00. The time for eating is very short. We went to the bar twice and twice there was no one (staff). There is no parking available near the hotel; four parking spaces are almost constantly occupied by hotel staff. We parked our car in the parking lot of another hotel about a kilometer and a half away.

I liked everything. The room was cleaned daily, towels were changed, everything was clean and tidy, while she was the only one who had time for the whole hotel and was always friendly and friendly. The food was good and tasty. We took 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner when we went to Prague on an excursion, we arrived late, they left us dinner which was very pleasant. But after 3 days the laws changed, when we were leaving for Bamberg on an excursion we were informed that we might be a little late for dinner (we arrived at 18:40 and dinner ended at 18:30) they left us nothing and there was no packed lunch either. lunch could not be rescheduled, it was said that your problems had nothing to do with the excursions. On this day we felt like uninvited guests from the street. I am writing simply so that we could immediately agree on what and how. The treatment is carried out by qualified specialists. Igor is very good at giving gas injections. Petra manages to go everywhere alone and carries out almost all the procedures, but there are never queues, she is always friendly. The massage is done every time by different specialists, but they do everything well. I received paraffin on my hands almost every day before (this is not the first time I’ve been to Karlovy) somehow I didn’t take this procedure seriously, but this time the hygroma on my palm retracted.Negatives
We stayed for 14 days and we were supposed to have 31 procedures. In fact, 4 days off, arrival day, departure day, 2 days and 1 day free excursion to Prague on Thursday and we had 7.5 days left for treatment. Of course, we had all the treatment, we are grateful. I would like to say that the medical workers work under heavy load, the medical base is small. Maybe on Saturday it would be better for them to serve hotel vacationers and not from the city, or reduce the number of procedures. This is not a negative, but a wish.
