We really liked everything at the resort at Spa Hotel Star****: the way Bozena greeted us at the information desk was very friendly and polite. The room is excellent, the bed is light and comfortable, the bathrobes and slippers are clean - everything from Maria. Many thanks to the medical staff: Igor, Petra - all the terms for the procedures are clearly organized (an hour, an hour and a half and a whole day are free). I really liked the food from the chef Richard, he’s just great, he’s on time everywhere and so calm. We thank everyone and may God grant everyone good health... In the town of Karlovy Vary itself, such autumn beauty cannot be described... Special thanks to Sanatoriums for organizing and conducting an excursion to Prague, very cool!

We rested at the STAR hotel from September 16 to September 27, 2019. I only had positive emotions. The room is clean, cleaning is done daily, bed linen and towels are often changed, for which many thanks to Maria. The procedures were carried out clearly and on time, many thanks to Igor and Anna. Food: at the beginning of our holiday, the cooks changed almost every day, which affected the quality, but then everything was corrected and the food was at the proper level. Reception Lady named Bazhena is so loud and unprofessional, don't let you say anything start to scream right away. Food: same all every other day. Same bakery every single day, breakfast cheese and salami same every day. Michelle the cook and kitchen lady running around your table every 5 minutes to remove empty dishes and it is getting so annoying when there is only 5 tables. Plus she unplug all cookware right in front of your face when you are trying to grab some food.

The kitchen is excellent, the rooms are regularly and informally cleaned and clean. You can always approach Bozhena with any question and you will receive a “comprehensive answer.” There’s no point in talking about the location of the hotel - it’s one of the best places.

The transfer was disappointing: for 25 euros per person one way, you could take a group of people to where they need to go, instead of driving them for 3 hours to different resorts. An incident with a woman at the reception also added a fly in the ointment. Even if she was right, rules are rules, but it is not at all necessary to reprimand an elderly person as an errant schoolgirl. After all, in general, she is a friendly, helpful woman, she just needs a little more tact. In my opinion, Igor could use another assistant.

The only problem is that room 305 is not very convenient (in terms of layout). The room is at the end and is protected from direct sun by trees. Which was very relevant (in HF it was +30).

I have been vacationing in Karlovy Vary for more than 10 years. I’ve been to different sanatoriums, this is the first time I’ve been to a new sanatorium. All liked it. The rooms are clean, comfortable, everything is new, the cleaning is excellent. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is very tasty. The cook cooks great. Focus on dietary nutrition. There are no special pickles, but everything is prepared correctly. The treatment base is small, but in principle the range of procedures is sufficient. The sanatorium is very cozy and is designed for people who do not like large crowds. The location is excellent, in the center of Karlovy Vary but in a quiet place. The price/quality ratio is superb.Negatives
It would be nice to purchase a program for scheduling procedures. In manual mode it’s already somewhat unusual to see and would be more convenient for staff and guests.
