The description on the website sanatoriums.com is completely true. The hotel is new, warm, without drafts, excellent beds (though small), there is air conditioning, the hotel is quiet, I didn’t hear the neighbors at all, I even doubted their existence until I saw them (possibly very quiet neighbors :)). New plumbing, excellent shower, hairdryer, shower gel, also known as shampoo. The room was on the 5th floor - the view from the window was a big plus. The staff is very friendly and everyone works hard. For me, the most important thing was food, tasty and not harmful, there is always a choice, and you can choose exactly what you can eat! (And you can even ask me to cook again what you liked :) Thank you :) ) Volodya, an osteopath, works at the hotel, before that I didn’t know who these people were, I liked it! They did not undergo treatment, so it is difficult to say anything definite about the treatment department. But I understand that there are some rough edges, from the words of other vacationers. Some rooms have a door to the next room, which is apparently convenient when large families arrive. In such rooms, the sound insulation is insufficient, we heard the neighbors more than once, but we were lucky that after all, we stayed for a short time and the neighbors were not super noisy, for some this can be a big problem. I think management should consider installing an additional door. As I already wrote above, the beds are comfortable in terms of softness and height, but they are narrow; large people may feel cramped. We were first in the Standard room, then in the Comfort room. Staying in Comfort is very uncomfortable. The Standard and Comfort rooms are connected by an adjacent door. There is a hairdryer, robe, and slippers. In room 401 there is a large bed in the middle, consisting of two single beds, but they do not move apart, they are powerful and high. Opposite there is a small table and two very comfortable armchairs. On the right is a wardrobe. This number is in the photo. There are 2 chefs working in the restaurant in turns. The cooks themselves clear the tables. Always a buffet. Breakfast is ordinary, like everywhere else, only there is no coffee machine, coffee from cans, 3-4 types of juice, very good different tea bags. For dinner, 3 types of fish or meat, 3 types of side dishes. Lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes all the time. Various fruits and baked goods.Negatives
Treatment. During our visit, Anna and Igor often said that they did not have time, that there was not enough staff, so that we complained about this to the authorities. Several times my husband had overlays with procedures, he was nervous. It was possible to calm him down somehow, but Anna didn’t say anything other than a dry “I’m mixed up.” The owner of the hotel, Olga, found us herself, talked, after this conversation, Anna and Igor became more polite and added those procedures that her husband had missed due to their fault.

Moreover, the procedures were at 9 am, then at 12 o'clock, then at 15 o'clock. We took a room for two with separate beds, it’s something terrible... A small room with one window, the corner wall was frozen (I had to put a robe and a blanket against the wall to avoid freezing). Therefore, a wish to the Hotel: make this room a single room or a treatment room!!! Overall, the holiday in Karlovy Vary is the best, and little things are quickly forgotten

I really liked that the procedures do not start very early and before 15...you can sprinkle a little and have time to drink water before breakfast. The hotel is new, clean. The location is excellent, we had different sources - from the closest 12 to the farthest 1 (geyser) in 5-10 minutes at a leisurely pace. Parking at the Thermal Hotel (10 € / 250 CZK per day). We lived in 304 The room had a huge bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Room cleaning every day. Linen change every 3 days. Robes and slippers are available, which was nice. Meals: no frills, porridge for breakfast, minimal cuts of sausage and sulfur. Yogurt, cottage cheese and additions to them are sufficient. Bread and buns, fruit. Bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer - everything is included in the room. The hotel is within walking distance from the Colonnade, you can even see it from the window. About nutrition. Buffet. There are always several courses to choose from for first and second. For breakfast, in addition to hot dishes, there is always yogurt and cottage cheese, nuts, dried fruits, flax and sesame seeds, black cumin and gia seeds. Slice fresh vegetables for lunch and always have arugula and other herbs. Vegans can come here too. Almost every dinner is fish. I always eat sauerkraut, which is very healthy, and herring. Fruit is also always served. You won’t have to go to the store, except for Becherovka. Some doctors also prescribe drinking it after mineral water before meals. The hotel is small, with 18 rooms. Everything is very compact. The treatment base is standard - gas injections, bath, peat, magnetic therapy, lymphatic drainage, manual massage, inhalations, oxygen therapy, paraffin. In general, I really liked everything. We'll come here again. The price and quality are very worthy. We went on an excursion and started talking. In other hotels for this price only room and breakfast. The owner of the hotel herself comes here all the time. Always on the alert. Responds quickly to questions that arise. This is a big plus.

The new Star Hotel is in an ideal location next to the park. We took a Comfort room with a bath and shower. The hotel is very clean and warm. All the furniture is new, the quality of the beds is excellent, the bed linen is also new, a new TV with a lot of programs.
