Treatment myositis in Konstantinovy Lázně

Inflammation of the skeletal muscles of one or more groups of infectious, traumatic, autoimmune or other nature. It is characterized by myositis with aching pain, the intensity of which increases during movement and touch, as well as muscular weakness. The skin in the area of the affected muscle tissue may redden slightly, swelling may appear. Myositis in some cases is accompanied by a slight increase in temperature, episodic headache, an increase in the level of white blood cells, the formation of painful muscle thickening. The course of treatment is based on the reasons that provoked the development of myositis (either antibiotics or anthelmintic drugs, or therapy with immunosuppressants and glucocorticoids). In all cases, patients are shown bed rest, a sharp decrease in physical activity, symptomatic treatment, warming ointments.
