Treatment chronic tonsillitis in Luhačovice
Chronic tonsillitis is a disease of the upper respiratory tract, manifested by prolonged inflammation of the tonsils (mainly palatine). In chronic tonsillitis 3-5 times a year, exacerbations occur in the form of tonsillitis (dry mucous membrane, pain and feeling of a foreign object when swallowing), there is an episodic or constant temperature rise up to 37.1-38 °C, mandibular lymph nodes grow and hurt, patients complain of general malaise, headaches, edema of palatine arches, tonsils, mucous plaque in the throat and lacunar (white) plugs. Complex treatment includes antibiotics, analgesics, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drugs, tonsil lavage with special solutions, physiotherapy, in severe advanced cases, surgical removal of the tonsils is indicated.
