Treatment shoulder-hand syndrome in Luhačovice
Shoulder-hand syndrome or Steinbroker syndrome is usually manifested in the shoulder-scapular periarthrosis, when neurovascular and neurotrophic changes in the hands are pronounced. Symptoms of Steinbrocker syndrome: swelling of the skin, changing its color and temperature, stiffness of the shoulder joint, followed by a brush (sometimes at the same time). Patients complain of intense sharp pain in the shoulder, which even analgesics eliminate. Contractures of the muscles of the shoulder and wrist joints and hands develop. Irreversible contractures, acrocyanosis, muscle atrophy, osteoporosis develop to the last stage. Novocaine blockades, phonophoresis with hydrocortisone, electrophoresis with nicotinic acid, acupuncture, drug therapy are used in the treatment.
