At the last, third, stage of development of prostate adenoma, involuntary urination begins, requiring the use of a urinal. In the first and second stages of adenoma, non-drug treatment is usually prescribed, including behavioral therapy, a set of exercises for the pelvic floor muscles, regular examinations by a urologist. According to the doctor’s decision, these methods are supplemented by a course of drug treatment (alpha-blockers, 5-alpha reductase inhibitors, type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitors, etc.). Surgery is performed with constant urinary retention, renal failure, which developed against the background of prostate adenoma, urolithiasis, hematuria, recurrent urinary tract infection, and ineffective conservative treatment.
