Mariánské Lázně is a spa town in a valley. The place is long and you should still be able to walk quite well. Most of the hotels have already been renovated from the outside and are nice to look at. Unfortunately you are not allowed to look into the side streets. Apart from the fact that the streets are currently not passable, there is a lack of cleanliness and order here. People are less prepared for tourists. There are perhaps no signs, even in German (with so many spa visitors), and there are no signs for hiking trails or sights. There is a lack of information at the bus stops about whether and how you can travel and how much it costs. The beautifully designed spa park is of course great and the fountain is sensational.
