Positives

I received true pleasure both physically (the procedures) and mentally - a good general atmosphere, responsiveness and goodwill. The cafe-bar has good live music.

Negatives

Request: transfer to the airport is not coordinated with the actual travel time, and the answers to the organizer’s questions are not entirely true.

Positives

A small resort town with good park areas. Quite a cozy sanatorium with an abundance of medical procedures and friendly staff.

Negatives

I had no luck with the placement above the kitchen: every morning at five or six o'clock in the morning I was woken up by the noise of unloading transport.

Positives

If it weren’t for nature and kind, helpful people, there would be nothing to do there

Negatives

The food is simply disgusting! even in the lousiest canteen during the Soviet era the food was much better. It’s simply impossible to find tea or coffee in the evening. This is some kind of nonsense!

Positives

Good afternoon It was my first time in Poděbrady. Came from Almaty. The sanatorium left good memories: very polite staff. There were very few Russian speakers, but this did not affect the treatment in any way. Sveta worked at the reception desk, a very wonderful and bright person; you could always get complete information on all issues, both treatment and advice on trips to Prague. The food can be said to be very unique. The portions for the main courses are quite large.

Negatives

Monotonous salads: daily sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, sometimes beets and carrots. In general, fruit was very rarely given, although I was in the height of summer from June 12 to June 29. Bed linen was changed after notice on the 10th day.

Positives

There was treatment and food too.

Negatives

We rested at the sanatorium in February 2017, but only now can I calmly write a review. We arrived in the afternoon and were given a nice (as it seemed to me) room with windows overlooking the park, the clock and the road to the station. The sanatorium is surrounded by greenery, clean air, and opportunities for walking. But.....under the windows there is a road to the railway station, where from 5 in the morning people begin to “walk”, mostly young people, because... There are many students in the town. But students don’t walk silently. Accordingly, you can forget about silence and about sleep too. Garbage removal takes place at 4 o’clock in the morning under the roar of the engine and roar. In addition, music and dancing 2 times a day in the sanatorium cafe on the 1st floor. In the room on the second floor where we were placed, we could dance without paying for a disco, which also did not contribute to a relaxing holiday. All appeals to the administration with requests to change the number did not yield any results. At the reception, the girl Martina did not want to understand what I wanted for a long time, after a week they finally said that I needed to go to the hotel manager, but she first spoke Russian, and then abruptly forgot it and said that she was not a manager at all and did not know who to contact . Therefore, I can’t say anything good about the hotel. Everything that was good was outweighed by the disregard for the needs of vacationers. Yes, there was treatment, but the lack of hot water and drinks at lunch and dinner was somehow annoying. There is no kettle in the room (and this is in 4 stars!). Perhaps we were just particularly unlucky and faced a total disadvantage, but last year no such problems arose during our holiday in Konstantinovy Lazne. The hotel undeservedly has 4 stars. I don’t recommend going to this hotel for that kind of money.

Positives

Excellent sanatorium. I wish I could add more variety to my diet)

Negatives

The food is very mediocre. I really hoped for changes compared to last year, but unfortunately there are none. Few vegetables and fruits (mainly meat, potatoes and dumplings - very heavy food).

Positives

Very attentive service staff! I really liked the treatment! The sanatorium has a good location, greenery all around, clean air, opportunities for walks.

Negatives

The food is monotonous, a lot of fried food, soups are often over-salted, very little or no fruit, not enough dairy products, never had cottage cheese! Lack of hot water and drinks at lunch and dinner. There is no kettle in the room. The renovations at the neighboring hotel, garbage removal at 4 o'clock in the morning, and the noise really interfered with my vacation.

Positives

Strong water, the quality of treatment corresponds to what is stated, But Libenski is by no means 4 stars, The girls at the reception work very well, with the exception of the stubborn and cunning Martina, with whom you need to behave very harshly or you will get a maximum of 20 percent of what you paid for, Try to get in to the doctor Anna Ginzova, she defended all my interests and procedures,

Negatives

Be careful, the lady Bogachkova works in Libenski, she hates Russians, she can cause a provocation. Beware of the cold eyes of Martina at the reception, especially during final payments, she will force you to make payments at an unfavorable rate. In general, everything had to be knocked out: from the room they were first assigned to the room where the plaster was falling off, then with a fight they transferred it to normal, before the allotted time for taking baths, not to mention a very weak massage, most Czechs try, but where have you seen a 4-star hotel without air conditioning and 2-course meals, instead of the required buffet,

Positives

Thank you for the opportunity. I am satisfied with the quality of accommodation and treatment, the surrounding nature, and the working staff. All my comments relate to the management of the sanatorium, because it is related to organizational work.

Negatives

I arrived on Sunday, but only saw the doctor on Tuesday due to the fact that there is only one Russian-speaking doctor in the sanatorium. The information sheet of the sanatorium, written in Russian, is full of errors. The menu in the restaurant is in Czech, and the flash prepared in Russian is not subject to any criticism. Make different portion sizes in the restaurant; not everyone can eat that much. This will reduce your costs. There are no drinks except cold water at lunchtime and in the evening, but I would like it. It’s just a disaster with Russian-speaking staff. Of the promised examinations, only a cardiogram. Swimming pool with plain water is paid!!! Where did you see this? There are no excursion companies working with the sanatorium that could offer their services to your guests on certain days and times, and you could earn a little money on this. I hope you will. something to think about. Experience the Beethoven Sanatorium in Teplice. There these problems are practically absent. You are a little behind in development, you will lose us. I wish you good luck and prosperity.

Positives

For 10 years now I have been constantly vacationing/being treated in Poděbrady, mainly at the Libenski Hotel. Conservative. I have been recommending it to many of my friends from Prague and Russia over the years. On this visit, my old friend (she lived in another hotel) came with me for treatment. Dr. Anna, as always, is professional and attentive. The staff is very friendly, the procedures are helpful, the town is beautiful. And even the gnome was restored and installed after renovation. At my request, a salt cave was already assigned on the day of arrival.

Negatives

The food in Libenski is more modest than in Zamechka.

Positives

The Libensky Hotel is very conveniently located: the city center, a 5-7 minute leisurely walk to the train station, in front of the entrance there is a wonderful park, beautiful even in its not yet blossoming spring state, the decoration of the park and the entrance area of the hotel is a flower clock that shows the time quite accurately. We stayed in a cozy, spacious and bright room with a telephone, TV (there is a Russia 24 channel), and a safe. The bathroom is separate, the shower and taps function perfectly, the set of towels is sufficient, they are changed once every three days and upon request, and the bed - once every 7 days. Robes are provided. The staff (at the reception, restaurant, maids) is responsive, helpful, and responds promptly to all requests. The balneology functions perfectly, the doctor (we had Mrs. Anna Hinzova), the procedural nurses are attentive, calm, and strictly perform their duties. The atmosphere is friendly, setting you up for relaxation and pleasant treatment. Almost all procedures are carried out in the hotel building; there is also a spring with mineral water.

Negatives

Very salty food in the restaurant, not always tasty prepared. I would also like to wish to purchase one more coffee machine for each room.

Positives

There are many positives: good medical facilities, attentive attitude of the staff, although there was a separate exception. Excellent location of the hotel walk along the Laba River Wonderful fresh air

Negatives

The food in the restaurant is not very tasty, the range of dishes is limited. The food in Karlovy Vary is much better

Positives

The advantages are that in any case there was treatment, I didn’t go hungry, and I’m still able to clean up the garbage in the room, buy soap and wash the glasses myself.

Negatives

Perhaps I was somehow especially unlucky and faced a total disadvantage, but in conversations with compatriots everyone comes to the unequivocal conclusion - the attitude towards Russian-speaking people is getting worse and worse every year.

Positives

Overall a good impression, thank you very much for the treatment, relaxation and good knowledge of Russian by the staff! I’m writing about the language because the sanatorium is from many countries of the post-Soviet space and the staff’s knowledge of the Russian language significantly psychologically pleases and makes the stay easier. It’s great that the entire medical base is in one building, everything is cozy and everything, including the beautiful works of the artist, pleases the eye, that there are Russian-language TV channels, a wonderful bar with an entertainment program, that the premises are warm, almost all the staff are smiling and friendly ( although people are people: some employees are contraindicated to work in such institutions). The breakfast was good, there was always fruit, a fairly varied dinner menu, large portions. I used to read that food is oversalted, but now I can’t agree with that. Apparently, the flaw has been corrected, which is good news. But there is another one, about which in “Negative”. The city itself is a great place for walking for people with heart and musculoskeletal problems. Thank you!!

Negatives

The Polish writer Stanislaw Lem has a phrase: “Little things lay on the asphalt, like trampled forget-me-nots, and humanity stumbled over them.” There are little things in the work of a sanatorium that irritate and spoil the overall impression. Perhaps in a 3-star sanatorium these little things could not be mentioned, but in a 4-star sanatorium, I think some little things should not be allowed. Regarding the treatment. The doctor gives permission for many procedures, but then the receptionist decides which of the procedures authorized by the doctor to prescribe and how many, based on the cost of the voucher and the length of stay. I think it is necessary to consult with the wishes of the guest - how many procedures he wants to receive. Often, when scheduling procedures, the patient does not receive a complex of treatment (8-10 procedures), but 1, 2 or 3 procedures separately, which, you see, does not give the desired effect in treatment. The receptionist should professionally help the guest in drawing up a treatment schedule and inform about the possibility of changing something. Some guests do not even know that they have the right to change something in the number of procedures received and find out this when they meet other, more experienced patients, but already often there is no time left to change anything. There remains a feeling of disappointment. About nutrition. The main thing is that it is unacceptable that the dinner diet does not include any drink: tea or canned or cooked compote. There is no tea at all; sometimes they served canned compote. Delicious. When there was no drink, they explained to me that there were 4 vegetable salads. I'm sure everyone will agree that vegetable salads do not replace tea or compote. You don’t need 4 salads, some of which, by the way, (for example, with tomatoes) are not of good quality. Provide 2 or 3 salads, but give them something to wash down the meal. Guests must be warned about the absence of drinking in the evening diet before arrival, then we will bring mini-electric kettles with us, and not run around Podebrady looking for them. And further. It would be nice if the sanatorium had a person in charge of paid excursions for visitors. This service is provided at the reception desk, but only when you think to make a request, but some are embarrassed to do this. It is necessary to write an announcement at the reception that such a service is provided upon request of guests. I think that correcting these shortcomings would raise the authority of the sanatorium and its star category, turning “Libenský” into 4 stars. Thank you and don't be angry!

Positives

Magic mineral water Podebradka, it is simply wonderful. You can and should go to Poděbrady, it is a clean and cozy town.

Negatives

The hotel staff is lazy and not friendly, the cleaning of the hall and rooms is poor. Hand massages were performed very poorly. The mineral water in the bathroom was diluted with hot water, and not heated with steam (as it should be). The dining room has dull breakfasts and a limited menu for lunch. The bar refused to issue a gift voucher. They practically do not respond to comments. The hotel is mainly used by benefit recipients (social security). In general, the hotel undeservedly has 4 stars. I don’t recommend going to this hotel for that kind of money.

Positives

Since 2007, I have been coming to the Libenski sanatorium once or twice a year. This already speaks volumes about my attitude towards this hotel. Treatment helps me; I myself determine the list of procedures that I need. In recent years, my rooms have been facing the main entrance and no noise (as some people complain) bothers me. The nurses during the procedures are very friendly, as are the waitresses and receptionists. It’s also convenient for me that the city is close to Prague.

Negatives

- About food: it is quite consistent with the cost of accommodation and treatment. The only thing is that it is often too salty, especially salads and sauces. The contingent is still elderly. - About the reception. Before going to bed, I went for a walk for 30-40 minutes - around 9-10 pm, so that I could fall asleep easier and not have a headache. However, an elderly receptionist (Russian-speaking) warned me that you can enter the building with a pass card, but leaving at 10 pm and later is prohibited from the main entrance. Literally her words: “We are not allowed to leave the building after 10 p.m., although you can enter with a card. Therefore, in the evenings it is better to use the side entrances.” I didn’t enter into a discussion with her, especially since the other receptionists simply pressed the button to open the doors to exit. I didn’t abuse it and didn’t bother the reception in vain, I used the side entrances, but that lady makes such comments to the residents in vain. The reception works 24 hours a day and they are not paid to sleep at night at work.

Positives

An excellent sanatorium, we had an apartment, the room was huge, cozy, the staff was very attentive, the procedures took place at a clearly appointed time, everything was nearby. We really liked it and will definitely come again.

Negatives

Poor room cleaning, the cleaning lady only took out the trash, did practically no cleaning, never vacuumed and in 2 weeks only cleaned the sink once. She changed the bed only after another cleaning lady told her at our request. Towels were not changed every day and if throw them on the floor.

Positives

This was our second time at the Poděbrady resort. We join the positive reviews regarding the town itself. In our opinion, the place is really very pleasant in all respects. I also liked the sanatorium overall. During our stay the weather was very hot. Meanwhile, the sweltering heat was not felt, so we got a room overlooking the square with two huge windows, which allowed it to be perfectly ventilated. The sanatorium was recently renovated, so the equipment in the rooms and in particular in the bathrooms is new, which is nice. It should be noted the significant healing effect of carbon dioxide baths, for which we actually came to this resort. Other procedures, such as massage, etc., in our opinion, are performed at a higher quality in the Konstantinovy Lazne resort. The staff is generally friendly, with the exception of one of the receptionists who processed our arrival.

Negatives

In previous reviews, a lot of negative things were written about the quality of food. This is true, we have nothing to add.

Positives

The hotel is located in the center of the town. Everything is nearby. There is a park with fountains in front of the hotel. The hotel has everything for treatment. The staff is polite. Every evening, different hotels host dance parties to reminisce about youth. The cost is 40 CZK. The rooms are quite spacious. The treatment is high-quality. I really liked the city itself and the people living in it.

Negatives

The negative is the food. The salads are swimming in a mixture of vinegar and water. I started to have a stomach ache, vomiting, and 2 others at our table. According to the doctor, this is a virus and 5 people deal with this problem every day. Very heavy, tasteless food.

Positives

The impression of the treatment and procedures is good

Negatives

The food does not at all correspond to a sanatorium, especially a 4-star hotel, lunches and dinners are poorly prepared, not tasty, monotonous, over-salted and simply inedible, there were no desserts at all, and I got fruit a couple of times in two weeks, I won’t go to this sanatorium again

Positives

I listed all the advantages in the questionnaire.

Negatives

The negative is nutrition. Salads float (this is not an exaggeration) in a mixture of vinegar and water. My stomach started to hurt. which was not the case before. The names of the dishes do not match the dishes themselves. The turkey steak turned out to be a boiled dry piece of meat; I struggled with the medallions for a long time, but it was difficult to cut them. I won't say anything about spaghetti. In general, if I suddenly get ready to go to Libenski again, it will be without food.

Positives

At any time, you can consult a doctor about your health status and adjust your treatment. All medical staff communicate kindly and patiently with patients. The room was cleaned cleanly and quickly every day.

Negatives

The food is very tasty and quite varied, but the soups are very salty. It is also advisable to serve low-fat cheese and low-fat yogurt for breakfast. Thank you.
