Visited Astoria (for the third time) in March 2018. There are many changes for the better in the sanatorium: it is a buffet, a large selection of meat, vegetable, and cereal dishes. Lots of different salads. You can make some yourself and season them with sour cream, yogurt, olive oil, etc. as desired. Vegetables and fruits are always: citrus fruits, apples, pears, pineapples. Natural juices. 2 wonderful coffee machines appeared! There is also hot chocolate. Another wonderful change is the appearance of a tea room, where there are 4 (!!!) samovars and different teas. On every day of the week you can drink 4 types of tea from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is black, green, herbal, there are lemons, milk, i.e. Everything has been arranged for convenient and comfortable tea drinking, for which a special thank you to the sanatorium! There is also a new procedure - a salt room, in which you can breathe salt vapor for 45 minutes. The kindest and sweetest nurse, Yana, gave me this procedure; her smile made even 2-hour oxygen therapy (she also did it) not seem long and tedious. I would like to mention Renata, m/s, who releases parafango. Caring and efficient! For the third time I meet at the sanatorium with Dr. Yaroslava Kraboova - a true professional in her field! How she knows how to accurately collect anamnesis, on the basis of which she prescribes tests and procedures. There is no need to worry, there will only be benefits! Wonderful work of the cooks and waitresses, who, like bees, make sure that your table is clean and tidy. The cooks cook very tasty!!! And also, Wi-Fi is now available throughout the resort! In the room, of course, too. The password will be given to the receptionist Ian, who will help you bring your things to your room, also a friendly young man. I recommend the sanatorium. But there is also a small fly in the ointment...unfortunately... On March 11, having arrived at the sanatorium in the morning, I had an appointment with a nurse (she was plump with beautiful long hair flowing almost to her toes), who began to scream so much at me when I was slow in answering the question of how tall I am. I politely asked her to lower her tone, to which she did not react until I said that I would record her speech on a voice recorder and let management listen to it. Instantly the person became nice and friendly, maybe... I was also surprised by Regina at the reception. Last year, sweet and cheerful, on the day of my departure, March 21, she almost gave me a heart attack. During the day, I went to the reception desk several times to find out about the check-out time from the hotel. I ordered a transfer to the sanatorium. com. I came after breakfast, before and after lunch, before and after dinner. Regina said that they had not received information about the departure and that I myself had to call sanatoriums.com from my room by phone for a fee. Already at 19 o’clock I approached again, almost alive from frustration (the plane was in the morning) and the receptionist, seeing my such a deplorable state, took pity and, looking into the computer, printed out the information about the transfer for me, which was sent to the hotel at 12 o’clock in the afternoon. I don’t know why this happened, they explained to me that it was as if my namesake lived in room 303, because of whom there was a misunderstanding. I hope so. I lived in room 209.

The massage at the hotel leaves much to be desired. There is not enough salt in the salt room (the floor and ceiling are not covered with salt panels, as in other places). The cooks in the restaurant do not know how to cook chicken, turkey and pork - they are tough and dry. Almost all the time we ate boiled beef or fried fish, which of course is not bad. They cleaned every day, but the dust was not always wiped off.

I agree with much of what was written above. My husband and I vacationed at the resort from 02/12/2018. to 02/22/2018, in the Astoria sanatorium. A big plus is the location of the hotel! Colonnades within walking distance! Thermal water is supplied to the sanatorium. There is a wide range of treatment procedures, you hardly have to wait in queues. Gas injections, gas. baths. Charcot shower with sauna. Hydrojet massage My husband and I felt a lot of the benefits of the treatment itself! I would like to thank the attending physician. Doctor: Belov! He understands everything perfectly, is attentive to requests, smart and friendly. Since on our first visit we were assigned a massage in room 1. (unfortunately I don’t know the name of an elderly, bald man), instead of 15 minutes he did 10. To my remark he answered me in a rude manner, look at the clock carefully, besides, I don’t think that this Call it a massage - the tongue doesn’t turn, it’s just stroking!!!!!! very unfriendly. The next day, the doctor replaced this massage with a CHARCO SHOWER, for which I thank him very much. Teach them how to say hello and smile! Taking into account the not so high prices for tours, I would still like to see more vegetables and fruits! And there is not enough variety, the same thing, it is clear that it is dietary, but still I would really like it. And so that your wonderful massage therapists work like massage therapists - after all, this is a procedure that is very necessary for us vacationers! Make WiFi, otherwise it doesn’t work very well... And I would like the price of the tour to include free access to the pool and sauna on weekends. I think this will make the Astoria sanatorium a big plus! We’ve already written about the pillows in the rooms, I won’t repeat myself! As for the rest - 80% enjoy your holiday everyone!!! Buffet - excellent!!! but it’s quite rightly noted - you come on time, there’s a queue, if you come later the choice is no longer the same. But nevertheless, everyone found something for themselves. I wrote down the shortcomings. And most likely they are addressed to the administration. I hope to come to Astoria next time and see changes for the better.
