Many thanks to all the hotel staff! Only positive emotions remained from the stay at Cajkovskij Palace. The room is spacious, the view is beautiful (room 408). The food is varied, there is a large choice, fish, meat, fruits, vegetables, soups, side dishes. The girls (nurses) speak Russian, are polite, and always smile. Rooms are cleaned every day. The hotel is conveniently located close to the springs (10-15 minutes), near a wonderful forest and a pond with ducks. The room has a bathrobe, slippers, and shower accessories. The room was given on the 4th floor with a magnificent view of Sadova Street. When the heat came, we changed the room facing the sunny side to a much larger room with good air conditioning. Very kind staff at the reception. Special thanks to a girl named Galina. Among the medical staff, I would like to mention nurses Daniela and Hannah, who work on the -5th floor. Another minus is the cleaning of the rooms, or rather its complete absence. Bed linen was changed once a week. The dust was not wiped off, the floors were not vacuumed, the floors in the bathroom were washed occasionally, and the glasses were not washed. at all. When I complained about the maids, they were very unhappy and did not even try to hide their displeasure. After that, cleaning became even worse. Everything was simple and no frills. The choice and quantity of food was enough for the small number of people staying at the hotel with me. But if there are more people, then the choice is limited and you will have to come first. - The pool is located behind an ordinary closed door on the ground floor of the Tchaikovsky. For those with joint problems, it will probably not be entirely comfortable.... maybe yes, and maybe even like it. The Orthodox church is nearby on the street, if you go to the left. A little further there is a forested area, a pond with ducks, and the “Little Versailles” restaurant. If you go further, you will exit to the Source Geyser. If you go to the right from the entrance along the street you can reach the lower station and the Becherovka Museum. And the walk is about 15 minutes. It is very convenient that there is an elevator in the hotel and a second exit to Sadovaya Street. It takes 10 minutes downhill to the Zmeiny spring and next to it is a colonnade with other springs. So the hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are good, the bathroom is large, Quiet and peaceful area. The food is not particularly fancy, but tasty and there are fruits every day: plums, peaches, pineapples, apples, pears. Porridge for breakfast. Fish and meat... the side dishes, of course, could be varied.... there is also enough - rice, buckwheat, potatoes... Therapeutic procedures are always on time, if necessary, they will be changed or replaced... In general, I recommend the hotel.

Thanks to Sanatoriums. com for a great opportunity to organize your own tour. It so happened that I delayed getting a visa and the tour. agencies could not help me... Through this service I booked a sanatorium with treatment and received instant confirmation, then I was able to buy air tickets. A situation arose in which we had to change the dates of the hotel, and there were no problems with it! They suggested that it would be better to take the Tchaikovsky Palace, and indeed the four stars are completely justified! The rooms are gorgeous, as is the view from the window (it turned out to be on Sadovaya Street) and many other hotels... especially beautiful at night. The food may not have been so varied, but it was very tasty; I was pleased with the choice of cereals, beef and fruit. The room was cleaned all the time, the bathroom was huge... the bed was very soft. Interesting view elevator. When you go on excursions, they give you packed lunches (well, this seems to be the case in all hotels). Polite staff at the reception and in the restaurant especially, the nurses also tried their best. I also liked the balneologist who described the procedures. he is somehow authentic, calm and seemingly experienced. I prescribed the water well, it helped. It’s also great that the hotel has 2 exits - on Sadovaya to the springs, floor 6, literally 7-10 minutes leisurely, or on Krale Jiihro, floor 0, which is closer to the bus station. The treatment is also varied, there are many procedures. I didn’t like that they were scheduled as needed, from 7 am and intermittently. It was especially inconvenient to go somewhere during the day. It was upsetting that the wellness spa with jacuzzi was scheduled for 3 pm (who should go there at this time?!), but in the evening you either can’t go there or you have to pay for it, but everything is also mostly occupied. I missed a lot of them, so the day turned out to be torn apart somehow. Sauna only costs 100 CZK/hour. The pool is quite small and cold, there is a jacuzzi see above. It’s still not very convenient, which makes the treatment very confusing - the rooms are all on different floors, so it’s easy to confuse them. The source entered into the hotel does not work.

They are diverse, but most indicate that the hotel is good. Only one review upset me - when a man said: about the smell of the kitchen in the room. So, regardless of this one comment, we decided to buy a ticket, which is a full package of treatment and plus food and to go to the Tchaikovsky Palace. I will say right away, the hotel is far from 4 stars, a solid 2 - ka. They say that the face of a hotel begins with the staff, so the staff is "tin" and if in other hotels the staff is not visible, then in this hotel be prepared that he also rests. Waiters in a restaurant speak louder than vacationers and can be rude. I confirm - there is a kitchen smell in the rooms. Cleaning is very weak. Food again for 2. Treatment as in all other hotels, but for the first time I encountered that some persons (not all, I note) behave as if you still have to pay them something for the procedures. Please note that the complete package does not include oxygen therapy or lymphatic drainage. In general, Sovdepia is thriving in the hotel. Therefore, I do not recommend it.

Very comfortable room, very clean. We really enjoyed the food: a wide variety of very tasty dishes, steamed, stewed or baked in the oven. Lunch and dinner, two types of fish, two or three types of meat dishes. For breakfast there is always fresh cottage cheese, very tasty yogurt, porridge with water and milk, for every taste, a lot of slices, vegetables, fruits. Delicious desserts. Very friendly, welcoming staff. There is no language barrier, everyone speaks Russian. The sanatorium is located in a quiet and very beautiful place, we liked that we had to walk to the springs. There is a forest nearby, we took a map of the routes from the information center, and every day we walked a lot to the most beautiful places. We were very pleased with our holiday and treatment, we felt a clear improvement in our health.

I can say that the “pre-season” weeks are the best time to relax in Karlovy Vary, because... prices are lower, there are few people, and the weather is already pleasant. Pros: 1) I really like the location of the hotel, because... the hotel has two exits to different parts of the city - one exit is located at the bottom (exit from the Tchaikovsky Hotel) from which you can go to the city center, springs, and the second exit at the top (exit from the Tchaikovsky Palace Hotel) from it you can go to the Church of Peter and Paul, Masaryk street. 2) the best view from the window of Karlovy Vary (if the room overlooks the city). 3) your own treatment center and doctor (not all sanatoriums have this). 4) I liked the food system - buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner (not everywhere there is such a system, in many sanatoriums it is ordered, what you choose from the list is what you get, and if you don’t like it, you will remain hungry). The food is boiled or stewed, not heavily seasoned, i.e. for proper and healthy nutrition. I'm very happy with this. 5) friendly staff who always helped me solve problems and questions that arose. 1) I would like there to be a place where you could sit in the evening with music (evening bar, restaurant). There is room for this (the lower Tchaikovsky restaurant or the bar in the reception area). If they were properly equipped and used, it would be wonderful.
