Treatment keratoses in Abano Terme
Keratoses is a group of dermatological diseases of a non-inflammatory nature, manifested by thickening of the corneal layer of skin. The most common are follicular, actinic and seborrheic keratosis. Follicular keratosis is manifested by the appearance of small, hard irregularities, "chicken skin", which usually goes away on its own, but can be additionally treated with creams and ointments. Actinic keratosis appears red, brownish or flesh-colored with rough spots of 1-3 mm in diameter, surrounded by reddened irritated skin. Spots are inherently harmless, but they are often removed because of the danger of transformation into oncology using cryotherapy, creams, gels, stripping or laser resurfacing. Seborrheic keratosis is a benign growth of a round or oval shape, either flat or slightly elevated. The color of the growths varies from beige to black, and their diameter can reach 25 mm. Seborrheic keratosis is treated with ammonium lactate, alpha hydroxy acids and trichloroacetic acid.
