Good afternoon I have been going to Karlovy Vary for treatment for 5 years (twice a year, spring and autumn). Spa hotel Esplanade, in my opinion, is one of the best in terms of price-quality ratio. We stayed in this hotel for the third time. In terms of price and quality, full compliance. The hotel is located very conveniently, in the very center of Karlovy Vary. The staff is attentive. I didn’t like the fact that 3 water treatments were prescribed in one day: a swimming pool, an underwater massage and a mineral bath. Accordingly, there were no water treatments on other days. It's the same with magnetotherapy. 2 procedures per day. When I asked to reschedule one of the procedures to another day, I was told that this was normal. I had to VERY strongly ask for a different schedule with a more even distribution of procedures

In Esplanade II, room 102 is very cold, the plumbing requires repair. We were a large group and the rest of the rooms were of good quality. At the request of the couple from room 102, they were moved.

He was treated from January 3 to January 17, 2019. The location of the hotel is in the city center, very convenient to get to the Colonnade and the Gallery. The hotel is located on the first line on the banks of the Tepla River. Food buffet: the first course is somewhat monotonous - chicken broth, vegetable soup; second courses are more varied - fish, rabbit, pork, beef, veal, chicken, duck; side dish - potatoes, pasta, rice; a variety of vegetable salads. Drinks - morning coffee, juices, lunch and dinner tea. Fruits - apples, grapes (not always), oranges, tangerines. Treatment and meals in another building (3 minutes walk). The attitude of the staff is friendly. I'm happy with my vacation.Negatives
The only negative is the constantly cloudy weather: either rain or snow. During the entire stay there were 3-4 days without them.

The doctor is not interested in the problems with which people come to this sanatorium! She simply lists the cheapest procedures and if you know anything from this list, then she prescribes them for you! The medical staff is very rude and not friendly! They're rude, they're freaking out! The massage lasts 10 minutes!!!! And during the 10 days of my stay, I was prescribed it all three times!!!! As you can imagine, for a sore back with a hernia, this is simply ridiculous! And, during one of the procedures, the nurse performed it so carelessly that she almost broke her neck and ended up pinching a nerve!

Special thanks to the driver Frantisek for fast delivery to the airport in Prague. Already on the way, he found out that my companion, who was flying to St. Petersburg, had a plane leaving not at 11:15, as was on her ticket, but at 9:15. Frantisek not only delivered quickly, but also helped the elderly woman with registration, she managed to fly away. I don’t know if she will write anything, but I thank Frantisek for his kindness, for his participation in the fate of that woman. Inhalations, oxygen therapy. 15 minutes of massage - this is know-how. No need to invent something that is not practiced in other hotels .
