I stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of April. I really liked everything. I came just to relax and see the country. I drank water, walked, had a massage, gave up the rest, went to Germany one day (luckily everything is nearby) and a couple of other small excursions. I am a vegetarian, so I assumed that there might be problems with nutrition. Breakfast and dinner - buffet. Many thanks to the restaurant for the unlimited piles of greens and cheeses. Others followed me to the salads, having filled their plates with food. Visually, the choice of this very food was varied - everyone ate with appetite. I didn’t go to lunch, but I heard that it was very modest. The hotel rooms are in excellent repair. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. We vacationed for the sixth time in Karlovy Vary in the winter. This is the fourth time we have booked a hotel through www.sanatoriums.com. Very convenient and profitable. I liked the following about the Lauretta Hotel: - compactness of the hotel (18 rooms) - very convenient location (200 meters to the 15th spring) - helpful and conscientious staff - spacious and bright rooms - high-quality food preparation - favorable cost of living CONCLUSION: The hotel is good Suitable for those who want to have an inexpensive and high-quality vacation near the springs.Negatives
Unfortunately, we also found some negative points during our stay: - The hotel, due to the design of the windows, is not well suited for winter (it blows from all the cracks) - a very poor selection of procedures (no lymphatic drainage and many other traditional procedures) - the balneological center is small, located in semi-basement through which there is another exit to the street - there is only one parking lot for the entire hotel - a weak, constantly dropping WiFi signal - a small sauna for a fee CONCLUSION: The hotel, in our opinion, does not correspond to the declared 4-star category. For more serious spa treatment, you need to choose something else.

Lauretta is a wonderful quiet hotel, very conveniently located - close to springs, the hotel itself has spacious rooms. The atmosphere is immediately captivating: everything is quiet, cozy, always ready to help. For lunch - magic soups, very tasty. It’s great that there are no special pickles or temptations. But you won’t go hungry, everything is very worthy. The manager is always on site. The staff is really friendly and even homely. The vacationers we met are not coming to Lauretta for the first time - some are the third, some are the eighth... This is saying something! We will definitely return there too.Negatives

In the evening you can go out onto the balcony and breathe in the Karlovy Vary air. No one will interfere. Spa - The hotel is small, but there is an elevator, which is very convenient for residents, especially those with diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The food is complete, fresh every day, freshly prepared (no leftovers from yesterday, as in some large hotels). Attentive attitude of all staff to each patient. I would like to say kind words about everyone. Reception: the girls are very attentive and friendly. I won’t list them all so as not to offend someone. Massage therapist Svetlana means golden hands, attention and care. Vladimir - all medical procedures. Special thanks to him. A specialist in his field, he is very delicate and polite. Takes care of every patient without exception. I can’t say a good word about the maid Paulina (sorry if I spelled her name wrong). Clean, conscientious, honest. The attending physician is Drozda. He not only listened and prescribed the necessary procedures, but advised me on general health issues and prescribed medications, which I take safely and feel better. You don’t always get such a professional attitude even from a local doctor. I am very grateful to him. This friendly team is headed and creates a family atmosphere at the hotel by Dmitry (sorry, I don’t know his middle name). Sanatoriums.com gave away a free excursion to Prague. The excursion lasted from 8.00 to 18.30 by bus. The driver Radmir drove the bus professionally. We sat on the bus as if at home on the sofa. The guide Natalya is top class. Yes, one of the minuses, which actually does not exist, is the lack of a swimming pool. But it's not a problem. The swimming pool is located near Lauretta. An hour and a half: swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam sauna, shower, power shower. Pensioners discount. This is not a negative, but an addition.

Of course, the medical base is weak. Although the basic procedures are there, many are missing. For therapeutic baths, I would like to use supplied water from springs, which, unfortunately, is not available. There is no permanent doctor at the hotel. The doctor is visiting and sees only once upon arrival at the hotel. Although the hotel is classified as a spa hotel, the hotel does not have a swimming pool or saunas. True, there is a small sauna for 4 people, but it’s cramped for four people, and besides, it’s paid. It's good that all rooms have balconies, but why does a double room only have one chair on the balcony? They offer to bring a chair from your room. But it is not very convenient to carry a chair back and forth. One chair on the balcony and the absence of a table significantly reduce the advantage of a room with a balcony. The disadvantage is the lack of a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The cook prepares the dishes well, but often over-salts them. Sometimes the soup is so salty that it is impossible to eat. Fish for dinner is often dry. With that said, the hotel is closer to 3 stars than 4. It is a solid 3 star hotel. Overall, we are satisfied with our stay at the hotel and do not regret choosing it. We recommend this hotel to those who are interested in optimal price/quality ratio.

When asked about the poor quality of food and limited choice of products, the answer was: “At first everyone complains, and then they get used to it.” According to the conditions of our reservation, a custom menu for dinner was offered (which was confirmed by the data on the website on the Internet). In fact, a buffet was offered. An order for the desired dish could only be made for an additional fee (8 euros). Explanation: new concept. There is no dietary food. 4. Meal times are strictly regulated max. 2 hours, but after 30 minutes the meager selection of products is not replenished. Conclusion: The hotel corresponds to max. two, not three and, of course, not four stars. 5. Poor functioning of the toilet and sink in the room. 6. The doctor comes only on call for the first conversation with guests, and is not present every day from morning to 14:00, as indicated on the hotel page. The appointment time is 10 minutes. 7. Treatment procedures advertised on the hotel’s website on the Internet, as it turned out upon arrival, are divided into three groups: “conditionally primary”, more often prescribed “conditionally secondary”, such as cupping, magnetic therapy, parafango, inhalations and some others, and more paid procedures, such as aromatherapy massage, general massage, foot massage, manual lymphatic drainage (price 35-40 euros). 8. CAUTION: When we booked a hotel, sanatoriums.com sent us a confirmation for a specific amount of the cost of hotel accommodation with treatment and food. No costs were indicated anywhere except for the resort tax. We were unpleasantly surprised at home that the credit card was charged 42.24 euros more than indicated in the confirmation sent by sanatoriums.com. На рецепцию можно попасть по лестнице или же с нижней двери без барьеров 3. Да мы поменяли ужины на шведский стол. Информация обновлена. Еда у нас качественная. Часто гости из других отелей питаются у нас. 4. Да установлены временные рамки, но все дополняется 5. Все функционирует стандартно 6. У каждого гостя в пакете 1 прием - 15 минут. В остальные дни врач принимает за доп. оплату 7. В пакет входят - массажи, ванные, газовые уколы, сухие ванные, магнитотерапия, грязелечение, парафанго. 8.
