I like the whole cityscape, the colonnade with fountain and the small shops and cafes. Bus connections are good. Various excursions are offered. I'll be coming back to Marienbad next year because there's always something new to discover.

The resort is good, but rather boring and small. Karlovy Vary is more fun, there are more events there. If I go to the Czech Republic again, then next time to Karlovy Vary, I was there last year. For older people who mainly need only treatment and fresh air, Marianske Lazne is a good choice. The beautiful forests around Lazne and the park in the city center are very suitable for walks. I also got the impression that the hotels in Marianske Lazne are better than in Karlovy Vary and, by the way, if you read the reviews, people write the same thing.
