Excellent hotel. I was actually lucky - Sanatoriums.com booked room 101 - it’s above the main entrance overlooking Metternich’s villa. Thank you very much. As always, excellent food, attentive staff. I attended an organ concert and an absolutely wonderful performance by a quartet. The main thing is that the hotel is not on a hill and there is a transport stop nearby. Nearby there is a group of good shops: Tesco, Kaufland, Lidl and even smaller ones. I took two meals a day plus drank tea during the day (my own kettle). I didn’t even have to go to the cafe additionally. I needed to get hungry in the evening. The cook prepared the dinner according to choice, very well. And in the morning you could choose whatever you wanted, but always a delicious dessert or a piece of charlotte. I'll lose weight at home. The prescribed water had an excellent effect. Two factors that I specifically note: 1. In the Continental they do inhalations with Vincentka water. Very effective for my throat. I wanted to go to Moravia for this water, to a resort, but here everything is there. 2. Separately ordered and paid for baths with CO2. This is absolutely a miracle. I asked around - no additives. First, hot water is poured. Then half from the bottle is natural. And within half an hour - you'll be in excellent bubbles. You feel like you are being reborn.Negatives
In mid-January there were snowfalls and near zero. We were unlucky with the weather. But she used transport on her way to the colonnade. Payment at the entrance is 20 CZK. About five stops - and there you are. You can drink water on the spot and store it in a bottle (this is in case of bad weather, so that, for example, in the morning you can get some water for procedures). Suggestion - At the reception it would be nice to have a schedule of buses 3.5 and 7 towards the Colonnade. The fact is that 3 and 5 do not run on weekends, and 7 has a special schedule.

True, I rate the food satisfactorily. What is called tasteless variety? And you also had to beg for fruit. They placed one unfortunate vase so (near themselves) that no one would dare come up and take it! And there was no such thing as lunch. They were only from NVT (breakfast + dinner). And if the guest wants to change dinner for lunch, it’s not clear what happens. The guest sits and waits for everything per hour, a teaspoon at a time. NO ONE from the staff speaks Russian

For more than 10 years, our family visited the sanatoriums of Karlovy Vary, and this year we tried to come to Marianske Lazne for a change. Therefore, the “positive” in comparison: 1. Your own ski resort for beginners within walking distance. 2. There are many park areas where our children, when it snowed, made forts, played snowballs and sledded down the hills. 3. Near the Continintal Hotel there are many different restaurants and cafes with high-quality service and more affordable prices. 4. Also nearby are supermarkets Kaufiand, Lidl and others where you can buy goods with euros and give change at a good rate in Czech crowns. 5. At the exit from the road onto the highway there is a gas station with low gasoline prices. 6. I was very pleased with the excellent Czech cuisine at the Continental Hotel, especially the dinners, which also included first courses. 7. I liked the service during procedures at the Continental Hotel. Very friendly staff. The staff tries to schedule all procedures at a time convenient for us, one after another.Negatives

Wonderful hotel - the best of a significant number of hotels I have visited. Not pretentious, but cozy and well equipped. In addition to the general list of procedures, you can add cosmetics (I took a full body wrap with Dead Sea mud). Great job by the chef. I had half board and it was more than enough. In the morning there is a traditional buffet - several types of sausages, delicious pastries, desserts. In the evening - according to the menu, with a choice of the type of soup, main course and dessert. Everything is delicious!!!!!! Thank you Sanatoriums for the opportunity to book such an excellent hotel at a reasonable price. By the way, I was not charged extra for daily use of the small pool and two types of saunas. The resort fee was also already included in the total price. An additional plus is that the sanatorium is located on a flat area, next to a trolleybus stop that runs regularly. There are no cons. But it should be taken into account that a decent distance separates the sanatorium from the sources - both from the colonnade and from the sources in the park. The nearest springs are located in the Crystal Palace sanatorium. Free admission. Not everyone knows about this. Thanks again.

We vacationed in December, the city is wonderful, the hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are not luxurious, but quite cozy. The trolleybus stop is located on the opposite side of the street. There are 4 stops to the colonnade with springs, the ticket costs only 20 CZK. In the summer, it is quite possible to walk to the center on foot, at a calm pace for about 10-15 minutes. They work with soul, try very hard, are very attentive to patients and their requests, they perform procedures on time, without delay. You can feel the kind human attitude. I would especially like to thank the head nurse Dasha, she is a very attentive and responsive person, and in addition corrects mistakes - the doctor’s shortcomings. The food is tasty and varied. The doctor leaves much to be desired, to put it mildly, but to put it simply - zero, an empty place, does not want to delve into the patients’ problems at all, he prescribes procedures automatically. But we come from far away, with problems, and want to get treatment! Instead of a doctor, the same Dasha could prescribe procedures! And make it even better! 1. Despite the fact that we were paid for 16 procedures, the doctor prescribed us only 14 procedures, although we objected to such a arbitrary reduction. After this, we were forced to contact the reception desk, where they immediately met us halfway and restored the number of procedures. 2. Having visited other balneocenters, we discovered that our balneocenter did not have disposable sheets, which greatly puzzled us. How are hygiene standards ensured here? This question remained rhetorical, as it arose at the very end of our stay at the hotel. 3. A big inconvenience is the lack of an electric kettle in the room. 4. The absence of a blanket on the bed reduces the feeling of comfort and order in the room. 5. Dinner had to be ordered each time, and translation from German was required, and the choice of dishes was limited and did not always correspond to our taste preferences. Therefore, the next time we stay here, the service package should only be taken with a buffet breakfast, without lunch and dinner.

We have been vacationing in Marianske Lazne for several years. For the second time we chose the Continental Spa Hotel. . I like the location of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning walk to the colonnade; the walk takes from 40 to 50 minutes. During the day we went down to the park to the Rudolf and Ferdinand spring or went up to the Monti Hotel and walked through the beech forest. The atmosphere in the hotel is very cozy, the rooms are comfortable and bright, the staff sets a good tone for vacationers with their positive mood. Special thanks to the medical staff, very qualified employees. The food is good, thanks to the chef for the delicious desserts.

I liked the hotel, I recommend it, it’s not on a hill, you go to the right - the park, Ferdinand’s spring, to the left - 15 minutes and already in the center, at the main colonnade. Everywhere is clean, comfortable, everything you need for treatment is available, including gas injections, baths, inhalations, physiotherapy, and massage. It’s good that there is a swimming pool, after walking you can swim and relax.

The negativity started from the very beginning, with the placement. The standard room turned out to be a "birdhouse" under the roof. It’s hot, stuffy, you’re constantly hitting the ceiling. Let's go for dinner, the food is simply disgusting. It felt like what was left over from lunch was served for dinner. We immediately refused our room and food. With great difficulty we were given a superior room (naturally the price was higher, which we were not prepared for). After 2-3 days, we were told that the price of our room had increased by another 5 euros????? When the final payment was made, the price had increased by 20 euros. For what? For two telephone conversations in Karlovy Vary. When I asked how to call, you could probably say telephone rates. For 20 euros I could call half of Europe. The holiday left a bad aftertaste. I know you won’t publish my impressions, but people should know this and be prepared. When I was choosing hotels, I read all the reviews.
