Dear Sir or Madam, Hzvezda/Imperial make an overall good, balanced impression with an optimal price-performance ratio. The rooms have obviously recently been properly renovated and the entire room furnishings are as expected. The building structure, which dates back approx. 120J. is old, has obviously sucked in the moisture (at that time there was no optimal moisture barrier) which is why facade renovations are necessary after short intervals, which results in enormous costs for such a complicated implementation. So this facility is a clear recommendation compared to: 1. Pacifik >> very outdated inside, very dark and unsuitable. 2. Nabokov >> new but the inside is terrible, like a municipal apartment with endless narrow hallways. Seven buildings were connected by side walls with an exit. There is no need for an imposed trip to Prague. It is included in the price of the tour and you cannot refuse it by reducing the cost. We have been coming to this sanatorium for seven years now. I really like it and want to come back again and again. It’s nice that it’s always clean and very beautiful, they regularly do renovations, update the decoration and furniture. The staff has become more welcoming and friendly, it’s noticeable. The schedule of procedures is always followed exactly, there are no delays or negligence! The food is very sufficient and varied. The location, in my opinion, couldn’t be better! Close to a colonnade with springs, a park, a cable car, and places to go for a walk. In general, the city is very beautiful and conveniently located for sightseeing trips. We always vacation in Zvezda for two weeks, and then go on a tour of the European Union for several days... very convenient.Negatives
Although there are no special complaints about the food, I would like at least one type of fresh juice for breakfast (not from packages). For dinner, not once a week, but at least a couple of times, see the national “knuckle” (it is prepared very tasty here!). The “gas injections” procedure was previously done with better quality, i.e. I felt the injection of gas under the skin, it was painful (tolerable), now they do it very quickly, you only feel a puncture of the skin... and it’s as if nothing is being injected... everything is so fast, and there is no feeling of relief from pain in the joints , like before. I was in Marianske Lazne, the Imperial sanatorium. I liked it very much. I went to relax, pamper myself and gain impressions. Everything worked out. The description of the hotel and procedures on the website sanatoriums.com was very helpful. I was a little surprised that the doctor’s appointment lasted only 10 minutes. Good food. I was hoping to lose some weight. Maybe it will work out another time :-) Clean, bright room. Nice, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. You could go to a symphony concert, a ballet, or just wander along the forest paths. The town is small, but cozy and very beautiful.Negatives
There was a small problem with the free excursion to Prague. Or rather, not with the excursion itself (a wonderful excursion with a very good, knowledgeable and experienced guide Lena), but with signing up for it. I sent an email about my desire to participate in the excursion, indicating the reservation number and received confirmation from Irena Milerova that I was registered and that the meeting point was near the Pavlov Hotel at 11 o’clock. There is no hotel with this name in Marianske Lazne. No one answered the contact phone number. I also did not receive a response to my email.
