I was on vacation at the end of September - beginning of October 2017. I booked a single room in Imperial, and was placed in a small double room in Zvezda, right above the main entrance. The view from the window was amazing. The maids are helpful, the staff is attentive. The food in the restaurant is varied and there is enough choice. I had full board. Czech dishes were also prepared. Beautiful interiors, good ventilation in rooms and common areas. The medical staff is qualified, the work of all managers is efficient. Large swimming pool directly in Zvezda. It’s convenient that in the evening you can walk to the Imperial cafe or the lobby bar of Central Lazne along the passages without going outside. This was an advantage for me due to my physical limitations. Conveniently, the Imperial cafe is open until 22.00. So, if you wish, you can drink tea before bed. A wish for the hotel staff: in view of our Russian habit of drinking tea even after a couple of glasses of beer, and indulging in tea before bed, it would be nice to have a tea set in the room. Separately, I would like to note the very friendly, attentive and compassionate attitude towards people with disabilities. Thank you for your big Czech heart. There was a common door between the next room and mine. I could hear the TV working. The toilet in the room is separate from the bath and there is also poor sound insulation. You can hear the drain and ventilation of the upstairs neighbors turning on. This did not bother me and did not spoil my impressions. But if noisy neighbors move in, it can create discomfort.

Unlike Karlovy Vary, where I have been and know my way around well, I was going to Marianske Lazne for the first time, I hesitated for a long time in choosing a sanatorium, and Vladislav’s advice helped me a lot. I also thank you for the transfer, both times there were very good, friendly drivers. The Zvezda complex offers truly qualified, high-quality treatment and a good level of service. As for accommodation, I liked it in Imperial even more than in Zvezda (quieter and calmer). Next time I will definitely go to this complex and will recommend it to my friends.

Good afternoon I want to write about the sanatorium in Marianske Lazne. I booked the Imperial Hotel, but checked into the Zvezda Hotel, which I didn’t regret. All the staff are good-natured, they were always helpful if I didn’t have time for procedures. The food is varied and it’s a matter of taste. There were dishes of rabbit, venison, duck, turkey, etc., as well as a variety of fish. And I was also pleased by the silence, nature, clean air, birds singing, incomparable houses from 1873, 1921. Very luxurious. I also want to thank Vladislav, who tried to do everything in his power, despite I called him on weekends when he doesn’t work.Negatives

The staff is friendly, the location of the sanatorium is excellent, the food is good, although the breakfast could be more varied. Even in bad weather, the resort has enough entertainment and you can organize a lot on your own: excursions, including quite remote ones, Thai massage, beauty treatments - everything is available and worth a try. Roman Baths and Zvezda Pool - I would love to sit there day and night! Of course, most of the vacationers are elderly, but there are also young people and everyone can find something to do here. The quality of most procedures did not change, with the exception of mineral baths - the amount of mineral water gradually decreased and in the last procedure there were almost no bubbles in the water - disappointing. The removal of dirty dishes from tables during meals is a little slow. The schedule for gas injections leaves much to be desired - people come early in the morning, regardless of when the procedure is scheduled for them, and take a number. This may be convenient for the nurse - you can finish it faster, but for vacationers who are unaware of how this is done it can be an unpleasant surprise. However, everyone scheduled for injections will eventually be “injected”, and that’s nice :)

It was their attentive and careful attitude towards clients that allowed us to avoid potential trouble caused by our unclear understanding of the phrase “transfer in price”. Thank you again for your punctual work. Now about our stay at the Imperial sanatorium. This year we changed our long-term attachment to the Pacific sanatorium and stayed at the Imperial, which was built before our eyes several years ago. Therefore, we involuntarily compared these two wonderful hotels all the time. Each has its own unique features and advantages. The thing about “Imperial” is that it is part of a huge complex, each part of which has its own zest. The excellent Zvezda swimming pool, the varied saunas of Novi Lazne, the well-equipped fitness center of Central Lazne and almost museum-like passages between buildings. All this adds many positive aspects to your stay in any of the hotels in the complex. Now about the treatment. Our first doctor was sweet and kind and prescribed us everything we asked for. But two days later, when we came to change some procedures, we ended up with a wonderful doctor who changed our treatment plan and explained what was actually good for us, what was unacceptable, and what needed to be reduced, etc. Many thanks to Dr. Matrosova. But in any case, the range of procedures in the complex is huge and you can choose everything you need. I would also like to note the “calling card” of any hotel - its reception. We traveled with the clear intention of not looking for negativity. Therefore, just two small comments. Both, unfortunately, are often found in reviews. First, it is almost impossible to find a truly dietary dish (without a huge amount of spices, tomato sauce, etc.). I would like at least one meat dish a day to be steamed, and the soups would not be so, for some unknown reason, too salty. And yet, the rooms are cleaned purely formally. But they are good and comfortable, so I don’t want to pay attention to these little things. The hotel is wonderful! We will probably come here next year. Thank you!

This is my second time at this sanatorium. The first year it was two weeks, this year it was three. The medical base is very large and varied. Five sanatoriums are connected by closed passages and in any one you can receive prescribed procedures and drink mineral water. The sanatorium is located very well: near the forest, silence and a few minutes from the colonnade. Well, the nature in Marianske Lazne is simply amazing!! Of course, you still need to consult with your doctor at home about the procedures you need. It is difficult for the sanatorium doctor to go into the specifics of your illness. Upon arrival, you can take tests and undergo an ultrasound. The hotel rooms are different: both in size and location. The restaurant has a buffet. The food is not fancy, but varied. There is always fish, poultry and meat. Vegetables in salads and simply chopped. In the morning, porridge, muesli, cottage cheese. Yogurt, kefir and even soy milk. It is not known why to take laboratory tests at the beginning, if their results can be found out only at the final visit to the doctor, and then after a reminder. To measure the blood pressure of a 79-year-old woman - the nurse asked for 100 CZK, which left a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste. In a hotel of this level, such a “procedure” can be provided as a bonus.
