They didn’t change the bed for 14 days until they asked the maid to do it. The assortment of dishes remained almost unchanged. There weren't enough tables for dinner, so we had to wait. The porch at the entrance to the hotel was not sprinkled, it was slippery, my wife fell and hit her back. The doctor prescribes procedures without informing the patient. As a result, procedures were prescribed that were harmful to health.

This is not the first time we have vacationed in Marianske Lazne, so there is something to compare with. Overall the impression of the hotel is very good. The price-quality ratio is optimal. During the initial conversation with the doctor, we received answers to all the questions and procedures we wanted. There are no comments regarding the work of all staff. All medical services were provided at a high professional level. I would especially like to mention the masseuse Vezhda. Perhaps this was the best massage we had in Marianske Lazne. There are no complaints about the half board meal plan. My wife really liked the presence of porridge for breakfast. All the food is varied and prepared to a very high quality, both for breakfast and dinner. Behind the hotel on a parallel street you can always find a parking space. The springs located in the colonnade are approximately 1 km away on foot. We enjoyed walking to the Cross Spring in the fresh air in the morning before breakfast. Once we met a roe deer. Upon check-in, guests are offered a welcome drink. There was a fireplace lit every day in the lobby in front of the reception desk. All staff speak Russian, so there were no problems with communication. Wi-Fi works well throughout the entire territory. Most likely we will return to this hotel in a while.Negatives
I was slightly surprised by the "approximate" cleaning of the rooms - mostly just taking out the trash and cleaning the toilet. The beds were not made, but the linen was changed once a week (or upon request).

We didn’t know what kind of treatment they were giving us, i.e. is it relaxation or another type of treatment (I mean a set of procedures). This is not only a problem for SAN-REMO. Communication with the doctor was excellent. It is clear that the doctor knows his business. But despite this, we liked the doctor’s consultations and the services of the medical staff (senior massage therapists and nurses performing gas procedures).

I consider the tubular dryer in the bathroom not working in the summer months to be a disadvantage, and a significant one. At the Devin Hotel, the problem was solved by electrically heating the dryer. As a compromise replacement, a wall-mounted air heater in the bathroom could be used in the summer.

Around the city: - Beautiful, quiet, comfortable city-park. Even without treatment, it is very pleasant to take a break from the city noise and bustle. I recommend it. - it is more comfortable, calm and pleasant to be in Marianske Lazne than in Karlovy Vary. About the hotel: - the main plus is the location of the hotel in a very quiet and peaceful place, on one side there is a large well-kept park, on the other there is a forest, minimal traffic on the street, sidewalks and paths in the park with a hard surface - important for a stroller with a sleeping baby. - honest 4 stars, but additionally study the different types of rooms on the hotel website. - the food is tasty and varied. - service is polite and unobtrusive. - if necessary, in 15 minutes. walk (to the west) a complex of 4 supermarkets and other shops. Euros are accepted almost everywhere. - you don’t have to worry about parking, there is a road behind the hotel where you can park for free and there is always space.Negatives
1. Take a package of procedures only if you understand for sure that you need them. You do not choose the procedures themselves; the doctor prescribes them at his own discretion. Therefore, if there are no special health problems, you do not need to take a treatment package, but choose on the spot, for example, a daily massage with pre-warming of the back and massage (whirlpool) baths - from which you will at least feel the effect. My wife and I took a package of 14 procedures, but the doctor refused to prescribe more than two massages and diluted them with less understandable ones, from which we could not feel the effect. 2. The appointment with the doctor is purely formal: the grandfather is over 60 years old, speaks Czech and German, Russian - very poorly. I got confused about the mineralization of the springs, I think because of my bad Russian, so read it on the Internet. Because he doesn’t do tests or read Russian - he’ll prescribe something standard for you. If something hurts, bring your medical history in German/Czech - he will at least take your condition into account. 3. The quality of the rooms is different in two different buildings: “standard” in the San Remo building and “comfort” in the Biaritz building. The difference in quality is more noticeable than the difference in price. More details about the rooms can be found on the hotel’s website. One feature: triples are standard only. We had “Standard”: the bathroom was small, but everything was new and clean - no complaints. The furniture and carpet in the room are old, 40-50 years old, probably hence the “antique” smell that you get used to after a day. There is no air conditioning - this may be important for the summer. The mattresses are decent and the sleep is comfortable. The frames are old wooden, but without drafts. Everything is simple, but tolerable. In the Biaritz building all rooms are double Comfort, everything is fine there. They said that it is allowed to install an additional folding bed for babies (there are such travel cots). A small clarification on nutrition: 3 meals a day is not “all inclusive”. Drinks are included at breakfast only. But at lunch and dinner, all drinks are for money. The summary is positive: I would return, but to the Comfort room.

Accommodation: I booked a single room and was given a double room for a disabled person. After my refusal to stay in such a room, they provided me with a good single room. The robe was not changed during the entire stay. They only changed what had to be thrown on the bathroom floor. Food: Mostly monotonous. For lunch, the custom menu very often offered two pork dishes and one vegetable dish. There were no cereals (buckwheat) for side dishes. Treatment: Very small range of procedures. When I ordered 48 procedures, the procedures were repeated every day, it’s hard. There are no mineral baths, I had to go to another sanatorium. There is a small pool, but no one conducts classes on their own. Doctor's appointment, if you can call it an appointment, once upon admission. I have 2 doctor appointments as part of my travel package. In general, this is not a sanatorium.

Small (40 rooms). We visited at the end of March, the hotel was 50% full. Attentive staff, procedures and procedure times were changed without any problems. The menu is not rich, but the food is delicious. There is always a choice of fish, meat, chicken for dinner. The pool is small, but there are rarely more than 2 people in it. There is a sauna. The hotel is located on a quiet street. The rooms have excellent soundproofing.Negatives
Very small room. We were alone with a child, a third person definitely wouldn’t have fit in :) When I read the reviews, I decided that 10-15 minutes to the colonnade was not a problem. Lies. 15 minutes of actual running. It took less than 40 minutes to get there and back. So, if it’s hard to move around, then definitely not here. Poor room cleaning. Change of linen and towels without problems. But the dust was not wiped off even once in 16 days.
