One minus, it is very far from Baku, 320 km. The transfer is terrible, dirty, an ordinary shuttle bus for commuter traffic. It took a long time, 5 hours. In this hotel, in addition to relaxation, you can also take procedures included in the basic package upon arrival for at least 7 nights. Since we have been on vacation for several years, compared to previous years, this time the procedures have become scarce, there are many paid procedures from the free package, there is practically nothing to choose from except a bath with naphthalan. the package was reduced. They make application from naftovit very economically. All baths are paid; if naftalan baths are contraindicated, no alternative is offered. all for an additional fee. Considering the above, I would like improvements in this direction. All the same, the hotel acts like a sanatorium with treatment. if there are more procedures and high-quality implementation (sometimes the temperature in the baths was slightly warm), then other hotels will not catch up with you. We booked a holiday with treatment in advance at the “Garabag spa&Resort” hotel for the New Year holidays (from December 28 to January 10) and were a little worried that the price might change. But everything was unchanged. In the chat, before leaving, we talked with the manager Svetlana, who confirmed that all booking conditions were unchanged and current. An airport-hotel and hotel-airport transfer was booked through Sanatoriums.com. The services were provided at a high level. Meeting at the airport, road to the hotel, return departure (which sanatorium.com warned about 3 days before departure about the date and time of departure from the hotel) - everything was excellent. Nice minibus, careful drivers, transfer smoothly and on time. Thank you all so much! The hotel itself, its staff, treatment, food, animation deserve the highest praise. We had 3 unforgettable evenings of the New Year holidays (December 30, 31 and January 1) Wonderful show program, prize draw, grandiose fireworks! We arrived at the hotel on December 28, 2018, and from December 29 we received procedures in full (according to the booking conditions there should be 39 free procedures for each vacationer, we received even a little more). Only on Sundays there were no procedures, and on December 31, 1, 2, etc., including January 7, everyone worked as usual. Appointments with the chief physician and attending physician (we had Dr. Ruslan) were repeated several times. Everyone is very attentive, polite, true professionals. When meeting us at a hotel or spa center, they were constantly interested in our well-being and whether we had any questions or requests. The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning is excellent. Bed linen, bathrobes and slippers were changed regularly. The food is excellent, balanced, for every taste - fish, chicken, turkey, quail, veal, lamb, lamb, vegetables, various fruits (including pineapples, kumquats, pomegranates), pastries, cakes, etc. The service is at a high level. I really liked the hotel. Impeccable cleanliness and politeness. The food is very varied to suit every taste. In the evening there is a cinema, a relaxation room where karaoke, live music concerts, and lotto games are organized. There is a library. I visited the gym. An excellent fitness instructor. The animators have become our friends.. there is something to do in the evenings: concerts, disco, games, cinema.. compared to Druskonikai it’s not boring in the evenings. Very large well-groomed area. Treatment procedures are at a very good level. There was a problem on the first day with the head doctor... naftalan is not suitable for everyone. We were entitled to three procedures per day... we were told that everything except naftalan was paid for. After calling the Sanatorium.. all problems were solved. We arrived for the first time. It was interesting, in Azerbaijan there is such a resort-sanatorium Naftalan, compared to Europe it is close, undoubtedly this is a plus. Of course, we were a little worried about the weather, what if it would be very hot. It turned out that we were worried in vain, the climate here is comfortable, moderately warm and cool in the evenings, the air is clean! The light summer breeze is very pleasant in the evenings while walking. The hotel is magnificent, from the front entrance you can feel oriental luxury, there are comfortable rest areas for guests everywhere, everyone will find something to their liking: some play chess, some play backgammon, and all sorts of other activities are available. And this is also a huge plus. The rooms are quite large in size, the beds and bedding are comfortable for a good night's sleep. Bed sheets are changed every two days, towels are changed daily. Also, free mineral water (1.5 l) is brought to your room every day. The water is delicious. The restaurant is big! The food is very good, special thanks to the chefs! Unfortunately, according to the results of the analysis, I was not allowed naphthalan baths, but instead of these procedures, other types of treatment were offered in full (physiotherapy, aroma baths, etc.). First of all, I was very upset by the discrepancy in the number and variety of procedures offered (4 types of treatment in total), although the package for 10 nights included only 30 procedures, I was able to get only 25, I was also not satisfied with the unsystematic work of the spa reception, two girls distributing the delivery schedule tests and obtaining procedures, they worked very slowly and did not have time to serve the huge flow of vacationers, hence the impression that they were incompetent. Thus, I especially want to draw the attention of the sanatorium management to the weak medical facilities and unsystematic work of the spa reception.

There are some disadvantages to the treatment: - the attitude of the attending physician is formal (do not expect an individual approach), the doctor’s goal is to prescribe more paid examinations and procedures for you (all water procedures are paid) - a second appointment with the doctor based on the results of the examination is not scheduled, adjustments to the procedures prescribed are not carried out. I could write more, but in general everything else: the atmosphere of the stay, food, leisure activities, service, room cleaning, attentive and friendly attitude of the staff covers all the above-mentioned shortcomings in treatment.
