The food is excellent, the cooks are simply artists, everything is so beautifully decorated and served, especially salads and desserts. the waiters quickly clear the tables and even help bring tea, coffee, etc. Everyone in the hotel is attentive, friendly, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. A small request: the menu is dominated by fried meat and fish. Considering the contingent of vacationers, I would like to see more hot dishes with gentle heat treatment. One option of the dietary menu is clearly for very “dietists”; for lovers of kebabs and strong frying, you can leave one grill option, and for the majority of older vacationers, something softer. Quite a comfortable stay. For a detailed consideration and a more understandable perception of my impression of the sanatorium, I will divide it into categories... Exterior: The complex was built recently and therefore looks quite decent and is laid out taking into account modern trends, the facade is covered with mosaic tiles, which should look like a single whole, but the builders have their own jambs the job was done. Some surfaces look perfect, but some would like to be redone. In general, it seems to me that they built “hand-assed” buildings, because there are a lot of shortcomings and mistakes. Lots of chipped tiles in common areas, scuffs, several tiles in the area were replaced within a week, Karl! Change a couple of tiles every week. There is night, there are silent ways to partially replace tiles. Interior: The interiors are quite harmoniously made, it is clear that the designer had a hand in it. Lots of greenery and paintings, in certain places even attempts to depict frescoes. Lots of places to relax, soft areas. The staff in the reception area is quite friendly, but I always understood that I was being watched. I don't want to notice the guards. They should be inconspicuous and unobtrusive like maids, but here the impression was that security guards are central figures who should be visible and all life should revolve around them. This is wrong! Territory: For the territory alone I am ready to give 5*. A large landscaped area with walking paths, well-groomed bushes, trees, flowers. But there are some problems here too. The irrigation system is not regulated and in many places it is even clogged, which contributes to water splashing on the paths and walking in these places is not possible. The lanterns are loosely screwed on and some are even lying on the paths. The lanterns chosen for the parks are disgusting; throughout the entire territory in the evening and at night the light shines directly into the eyes. Everything had to be done differently. There are not enough recreation areas on the territory itself; it was necessary to create soft recreation areas and scatter pillows on the lawns in some places. A pair of torn hammocks hangs. The bicycles leave much to be desired)) they are some kind of pile of rusty, creaky iron. Swimming pool: The water itself is clean and warm. The area near the pool is terrible, as the covering is all peeling off and clings to your feet. There are a lot of sunbeds and they are comfortable, but the sun covers are not adjusted and can hit you on the head or back. Towels are changed and replenished near the pool regularly. Entertainment: Primitive. On the territory of neighboring Chinar you can say there is a nightclub. This is some kind of primitive thing from the 90s. Very inactive staff gathering people for entertainment and involving them in games. There is a serious lack of active animation and promoters. Rooms: Spacious, large and very comfortable, but again worn out and shabby details. For example, in my shower stall the household sealant had come loose in places and black mold and dirt had accumulated around the perimeter. The tiles were covered in erosion and some kind of dirt that could not be washed off. The rain shower head was covered with a thick layer of dirt on top. Generally speaking, the room was cleaned every day quite well, but not perfect. Bed linen, robes and towels were changed daily, but one thing was always missing, then another. The maids always tried to be inconspicuous and always tried to help. Most likely, the fact that traces remained after cleaning is most likely not their fault! They were simply not explained where and what to clean. Plastic glasses for water in the room!!! Charles! Plastic. AT 5*. Restaurant and food: Overall a good impression. Monotonous. It’s just possible that it’s because I’ve been there long enough and I’ve become bored with everything. But sometimes my stomach reacted with heartburn to this food. The restaurant staff worked promptly, but not always efficiently. Instead of bringing drinks or food to someone, it was necessary to quickly ensure that everyone had enough space, cutlery, and dishes. In general, the restaurant staff was friendly and always tried to help, but preference was given to local and especially important guests and this was not pleasant. If this is accepted, then it should be beyond noticeable to ordinary guests. Treatment center: A very strange place! The ordinary staff is trying their best and for this we thank them very much. But here’s what I can’t say about the chief physician. I saw Dilbar at most 3 times in 15 days. The first meeting and then a couple of times. No rounds or conversations with guests. I talked with some especially important guests. But she spent enough time on her appearance and dressing up. The doctor must be neat and wear a white coat, period! For example, in Gashalty, the chief doctor visits all treatment rooms and communicates with guests every 2 hours, every day. Accepts all wishes and complaints of guests. Dirty covers on the chairs, no water cooler. There was a large jug of water, but it was not enough. The procedures, or rather their number, are reduced to a minimum in the package compared to the same Chinar and Gashalty. The set of procedures is meager. Separately, I would like to say thank you to Rauf for the magnificent massage, and to Ikhtier for being able to treat everyone alone. All the vacationers with whom I spoke had the impression that the hotel operates on its own and no one is taking care of it. There is no owner! It’s a pity to see how the pearl of Naftalan is deteriorating. Treatment is better in Gashalty and Chinar, in terms of territory and location, yes it is better, but not much. I have experience in managing similar facilities at ski resorts and experience in managing huge retail facilities, I would love to turn this facility into a real 5* property and make it a real pearl that everyone would always want to go to.
