New procedures are appearing - this year foot massage using the hardware method has been added - it is very popular among older patients who can no longer afford any procedures. The construction of a passage between the children's and medical buildings is underway - finally, all buildings will be connected by passages. All rooms in the 10-story building are being gradually updated - the 6th floor is currently being renovated. The updated rooms have become more comfortable - a common mattress with 2 beds pushed together, new beds, air conditioning. A wide range of procedures and attentive staff are maintained. It was possible to install a sign to the entrance to the territory, because... It’s hard for those arriving to navigate - I came with my things to the central entrance, which turned out to be closed due to the construction of the crossing. However, these works have been going on for a long time and it was necessary to announce them both on the website (which does not reflect the news of the sanatorium at all) and on the ground. This immediately creates an unpleasant feeling of inattention. The entrance to the territory and buildings is not guarded in any way. Often (especially in the evening) there are no employees in the lobby at the entrance to the main building.

Sanatorium Belarus under the management of the President. But in comparison with the Priozerny sanatorium in the Minsk region, the president has not been paying attention to this sanatorium for a long time... Terrible food, terrible mattresses, and elevators are generally rarities. One of the three is alive. I didn’t think I’d see anything like this again. And most of all I liked the refrigerator in the room.. It should be called a refrigerator. And in response to my complaint at the reception, they told me that all refrigerators are like that... Yes, this is just the Stone Age. And the equipment in the nurses’ office is also impressive. You rely only on your own for medications. Full information about the procedures of the sanatorium is only available in one copy at the reception. All the information is on the Internet.. I have no doubt that I am not the first to write about this.

The sanatorium is undergoing renovations. It is impossible to stay in the room until lunch due to the noise. There is not a single chair in the junior suite room. There is not a single chair as stated in the video. The procedures are prescribed by those that are cheaper. Not all procedures work on Saturday, and on Sunday they are not available. Because of this, I had to shorten my stay in the sanatorium by several days. spa in the sauna for 10 days, only three out of eight heaters worked. They repaired it, but only after a scandal. In addition, the temperature in the sauna does not correspond to the declared one (80-85） degrees because the temperature sensor is located on the ceiling above the stove. The real temperature is hardly reaches 70 degrees. If you return from the pool in the evening through the second floor, then near the elevators you move by touch, because the lights are turned off. All this saving is reaching the point of absurdity. As much as I liked my stay at the sanatorium last year, I didn’t like it this year. I don’t think I’ll come here again.

Disgraceful attitude towards the guests of the sanatorium on the part of the administration. The neighboring rooms have been undergoing renovation for two years, powerful hammer drills are in operation and there is constant noise. Of the three weeks of stay in the santorium, repairs were carried out during two weeks. The only valuable thing about this sanatorium is the attitude of the medical and service staff. There is no point in paying for stay and food in a sanatorium when there are a huge number of rental apartments for every taste and budget. Food is at the level of Soviet sanatoriums. We will definitely come to Druskininkai, but only for a course of treatment, which we recommend to everyone.

What I liked most were the possibilities for treatment and wellness: a quiet, peaceful location, next to a pine forest, the dormitory building is connected by a gallery to the medical building and a swimming pool, which is important in bad weather. The pool was very pleased with its possibilities: various geysers, bubbling jets, plenty of space for everyone, two steam rooms. I would like to wish the team preparing the food to make it more delicious. After all, dietary food should be tasty. Although there are no complaints about breakfast, there was a choice. But lunch and dinner were not always enjoyable. But overall, we are satisfied with the treatment and rest. And the city of Druskininkai itself is a place with a special aura, with the beauty of nature, with silence, unhurriedness, a place that always invites you to return. Upon arrival at the sanatorium in the morning, I immediately saw a doctor and received an appointment for treatment. The website says that check-in is from 14.00, which is very good, but this turned out to be untrue. We were accommodated in a renovated building on the 4th floor overlooking the street. The noise did not bother me, I slept normally. The elevator worked properly. The furniture is new, the bed is comfortable, I had a double economy room, which is quite normal for one person. I also liked the fact that the procedures ended by 15:00, you could walk through the forest, parks, ride along the river, on the funicular, or read a book. Very friendly and welcoming staff. There are a lot of older audiences, memory problems, nurses have 5+ patience! Very well-groomed area and perfect cleanliness everywhere. Someone wrote that it was dirty, the bathtubs were not cleaned, hair floated in the pool - not true! A swimming pool with mineral water, an excellent SPA area in the pool, two baths, many underwater massages, a jacuzzi, no crowding, there was enough space for everyone. Towels are provided /set of 3/, sheets are provided for procedures /paraffin/. In general, I can say that the medical facilities in this sanatorium are very good. Perhaps I will come back here again, but not for a week, but for two. And now I know which procedures I need and which ones I should immediately refuse.Negatives
The bathroom in this very “economy” is simply something! The toilet is positioned so that you rest your head against the opposite wall, toilet paper is somewhere behind..., a sitz bath in which I almost killed myself. How could this sitz bath be left during the renovation?! It would be better to leave a flat floor with a side so that the water does not overflow and put a plastic stool for those people who have health problems, find it difficult to stand, etc. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom. I also didn’t like the fact that the doctor didn’t even mention the procedures that would really help me. They are trying to impose cheaper procedures, exercises in a group, hydromassage in a capsule..., I persistently asked to change the procedure to a manual massage of the collar area, I got it, but to my great regret, I learned about the vertical bath / spinal stretching / on the penultimate day from my neighbor at the table and There was no point in fighting with the doctor again. The food... perhaps because it is dietary, and therefore not very tasty. The portions are small, the so-called “buffet” for breakfast is not such)) But for those who want to heal, and maybe lose weight, it’s just the thing. There is a lot of tension with fruits: wooden pears, the same apples, once a week I saw bananas cut into pieces. Only two coffee machines, a lot of people, one machine was broken, queues..., people were late/missed/procedures. There were no chairs on the balcony, apparently not provided. And the lighting in the room was such that it was almost impossible to read a book at night. I read it during the day between procedures.

There is a charming aroma of flowers in Druskininskaya. Bring me here with my eyes closed and I will say that this place is Druskininsky. Everyone in the sanatorium speaks Russian perfectly and willingly. Many people communicate with Poles in their native language. All the staff (from the administration to the canteen workers and cleaning ladies) are very friendly, attentive and friendly towards vacationers, and leave only good feelings and gratitude about themselves.Negatives
There were also negative moments a couple of times. On August 17 or 18 (this is Friday or Saturday), many could not sleep until 2 am because of loud music with pop songs somewhere near the territory of the sanatorium. And on the evening of the 25th, a wedding was held in the cafe of the sanatorium itself, and vacationers in the rooms on the same side as the entrance to the cafe also could not sleep until one in the morning because of the rhythmic music coming from them, and vacationers in the rooms on the parking lot side woke up at one nights and could not fall asleep until 3 am, while the guests were leaving, having previously communicated with each other for a long time and very loudly. This is not acceptable, people came to relax, but were met with disrespect for their vacation. This morning I heard many people express indignation about this. Probably many of them will think about whether it’s worth coming here again, and they will share similar practices at this resort with their relatives and friends in Israel.
