The hotel is very centrally located in a beautiful park. It looks very stylish from the outside. A welcoming lobby with beautiful columns and pleasant rooms. The hotel itself seems clean except for the dining room. Other people's dishes are left on your own table while you eat. A stay just in the hotel without food and treatments would certainly be rated much better.Negatives
The hotel does not have its own kitchen. The food is delivered daily from outside and served to the guest in very, very small portions. If you arrive late, there may be no starters or dessert left. The spa treatments are scheduled and carried out without taking the guest into account.

Thank you very much for the treatment and relaxation! This was my first time being treated in this hotel. The attentive, smiling staff does their job “excellently”! The doctor prescribed a lot of different procedures, gas injections especially helped. A very nice gift from the hotel - an unlimited pass to the Water Park with a swimming pool and underwater massage. I recommend the hotel in Frantiskovy Lazne to everyone.Negatives

I had a single room with a bathroom and it was very loud from 6 a.m. onwards, but I was allowed to change after a week. The only problem was that the wall to the next room was just drywall and you could hear every word from the neighbor.

Firstly, there was a lack of Internet. It was impossible to call another hotel from the reception. The night attendant at the reception was not very polite... one might say rude. The advertisement of the Metropol sanatorium states that the staff speaks 3 languages. In fact, they only speak German. The doctor and nurses also do not understand Russian, and when I asked to prescribe procedures for me according to my diseases, the doctor pretended that he did not understand me and prescribed standard procedures that are contraindicated for me. I came for gas injections and mineral water, I received only 4 injections, and the doctor did not explain at all how to take, in what quantity and from what sources the mineral water. The restaurant is very cramped, the rooms have old, dirty carpeting. This sanatorium corresponds to 2 stars, and nothing more, it looks like a Soviet holiday home. The staff’s favorite expression for all our requests is “IT’S NOT POSSIBLE.” I don’t advise any Russian-speaking vacationers to stay at this sanatorium. Linen was changed once in 14 days and only when we insisted on it. The phones don't work; no one could reach us even from Karlovy Vary. После того, что были проверены все данные, посылаем Вам выражение к отдельным пунктам, которые Вы нам назвали. Правда такая, что знание иностранных языков у отдельных работников разное и далеко не все говорят на 3 иностранных языка. Клиентки заказали классическое курортное лечение, в которое входит комплексное решение лечения и которое состоит из микса процедур. Ниже найдете список 36 процедур, которые Вы получили в нашем отеле. Здесь видно, что было принято и получено 9 газовых уколов Содержание всего: Парафиновое обертываниеl 5x Углекислая ванна 10x Подводный массаж 1x Ультразвуковая терапия 6x Классический массаж 5x Газовые инъекции 9x Ресторан не очень большой, но время , в течении которого предоставляется питание, дает возможность комфортного питания для всех гостей в отеле. Нет правда, что постельное белье было сменено только один раз в течении 14 дней. Постельное белье стандартно сменяется один раз за неделю. Клиент не всегда в номере, когда его убирают. По нашим стандартам уборка номера делается ежедневно (с исключением субботы) в нескольких вариантах. Телефоны и интернет в номерах действительно не работают. Причиной этого техническое повреждение, на его устранению работаем. Бесплатный интернет для клиентов находится в ресторане и на ресепшне отеля. Для Вас было сделано предложение, уже с начала проживания в отеле была предоставлена возможность звонить из сотового телефона на ресепшне. К сожалению, после того, когда они отказались от оплаты исходящих звонков, не был уже сотовый телефон к их услугам. Когда бы телефонные разговоры были из номера, мы бы записали цену за эти звонки на их счет и в конце путевки бы их оплатили. Неприятная женщина, которая была ночью на ресепшне и о которой пишет госпожа Барди и которая между прочим хорошо говорит на русском языке, была уполномочена снять деньги за дальнейшие звонки, от оплаты которых клиенты отказались. Дальше клиенткам рекомендовала купить чешскую SIM карту, чтобы могли звонить из их сотового телефона. Жаль, что Вы свои замечания не сказали прямо в течении их путевки. Мы могли ситуацию, которая возникла, и некоторые пункты, решить вместе сразу в отеле. Мы в распряжении всем гостям и в случае обнаружения каких-либо недостатков, мы готовы принять срочное решение. Мы хотели бы Вас уверить в том, что для нас будет очень приятно, если будете хотеть в будущем посетить город Франтишковы и для Вашей путевки выберете один из отелей нашего общества. The location of the sanatorium is wonderful, opposite the entrance to the park and close to the train station (3 min walk) and shops. We liked the large and spacious room, the bed linen was very good quality and very clean. The towels are also in excellent condition. We asked for extra pillows, they brought them to us without question within 5 minutes, for which we thank you very much. The room was lightly cleaned every day. Replacement of bed linen and towels upon request. The room and all other rooms are warm and clean. The staff is professional, friendly, responsive, no problems. Except for the doctor. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the portions are large. If you would like additional drinks, beer, coffee, alcohol, etc. it's an extra cost, but not expensive. We have been to Aquaforum several times, there is a swimming pool and a regular pool, like in SPA centers with various underwater massage gizmos. It's 10 minutes from the hotel, free, unlimited, you can go every day. The town itself is not large, cozy, surrounded by parks and lakes. Very beautiful places for walks. We recommend Frantiskovy Lazne, we liked it.Negatives
The doctor is very strange, one might even say, with great greetings. All twitchy and fidgeting endlessly. There were several attempts to talk to him, but they all ended in nothing. Therefore, we had to go to another doctor in a neighboring sanatorium and for an additional fee, of course. Everything else is great.

I enjoyed my vacation. Of the prescribed procedures, I especially liked carbon dioxide baths, exercise therapy classes in the pool, as well as unlimited visits to the Aquaforum with underwater massage. Even at sea, I had never spent so much time in the water before. Fresh air, silence, the hotel is located almost in the park. If you’re bored, you can go and take a walk in Germany (Marktredwitz is 40 minutes by train). Thanks to the Sanatoriums.com team for a wonderful stay.Negatives

Special thanks to the restaurant for the Friday chocolate fondues. We had a great time in the Aquaforum pool. We highly recommend the restaurant "History of Illusion". Everything is alright! We’ve been to Marianske Lazne and Karlovy Vary - Frantiskovy Lazne is better!!! Baths with natural mineral water, mud, and their signature gas injections. The massage was great. Which doesn't always happen. The air is clean - you breathe like you drink wine. Because, in principle, this is a big park. You can rent bicycles. You can do this in the park without paying. (in hotels for a fee) What’s also nice is entrance to the Water Park without paying. The staff does a great job. Almost no one speaks Russian. But we didn’t need it, we speak other languages. By the way, they can also show with gestures. The food was better than all the above resorts. One of the advantages I can note is the work of the staff - they work very well and are polite. Hotel source. All procedures are performed with high quality. The hotel is mainly for vacationers 55+. Frantiskovy Lazne is a very good resort for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The hiking areas are amazing, you can walk endlessly. It is better to come on Sun., so that from Mon. start procedures. From Prague you can get there by direct train "pendollino" in 2.5 hours. The train is comfortable, the fare costs 300 CZK. Departure from Prague at 8:40 or on weekends 8:40 and 10:40. The unkind attitude of one waitress towards me personally (completely unfounded), three times brought for dinner what I did not order, namely chicken with pasta, and three times did not give dessert, she said no sweets, although everyone was given it. I consider this attitude towards vacationers unacceptable. The waitress was a tall, thin woman with blond hair who kept coughing.

I really liked Frantiskovy Lazne! The resort is suitable for lovers of a relaxing holiday. Silence, peace, fresh air - wonderful. The Metropol is located very well, the windows look directly onto the park - it’s 5 minutes to the center of the resort and the Aquaforum and the station, slowly, and at the same time, silence even in the middle of the day.Negatives
There was not even paid wired Internet in the room, as stated in the description; it was a waste of time to take a laptop with us. There is only very weak Wi-Fi at the reception. It would be better to know about this in advance. And one more thing: the day before our departure, Sanatoriums rescheduled the return transfer to the airport, a notification was sent to the hotel, but it was never given to us, it’s good that at the last moment I checked my E-mail and saw the letter. Given that there is no Internet in the room, this is not very convenient.
