Our 15-day stay was excellent in all aspects: the attentive, friendly and cheerful Dr. Pavel, the extremely polite and competent medical staff, the massage therapists of different styles, but each in their own way interesting, the exceptionally high level of service in the restaurant and the inexhaustible imagination of the chef, helpful reception staff, room cleaning twice a day. I would like to especially note the work and thank all the staff of the Olympic Palace Hotel. Throughout our stay we were surrounded by attention and care. The hotel employees speak Russian, everyone is very kind and friendly. Any request was fulfilled with extraordinary clarity and speed. We felt at home. Cleanliness and hygiene are 5+. The food is good, the desserts are incomparable! I would like more variety of fish. In general, the hotel functions like a Swiss mechanism. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the staircase to the springs helps to keep fit))) I think that next time we will stay here.Negatives
The excursion was an unpleasant surprise. The Sanatoriums booklets do not mention anywhere that along the way you will definitely be taken to a certain trading establishment called Bohemia Tradition, thus taking away your time for a free overview of the place where you are going. But there is a full-page advertisement for this store with a recommendation to “visit.” It does not say that they will sell you grenades of dubious quality, accompanying them with a blank (!) certificate from another company (“Garnet”) and will not even issue you a cash receipt, not despite convincing requests! Which is a direct violation of Czech law. We chose the "Historical Prague" tour. Before arriving in the city, the guide “lucidly” explained to everyone that we would not buy real Czech garnets with a guarantee anywhere else except in this place, since many fakes are sold on the central streets of Prague. Then we were dropped off at the above-mentioned museum-shop, where everyone was given a number (!) at the entrance, given a glass of Moravian wine and given a lecture about folk crafts. When there were already 20 minutes left before the bus left, real pandemonium began on the 2nd floor, where the decorations were. Under the pressure of time, no one noticed the catch. On the way back, we brought up all the information about Czech pomegranates and this business, and the mood was irrevocably spoiled... There are many reviews of this store on the Internet, anyone who is not too lazy can read it before falling into a mousetrap with free cheese. The purchased grenades did not have the proper stamps. So now the examination will continue “according to plan.” If you want to buy "pomegranates", do it in Prague or even Karlovy Vary. The same thing will cost you much cheaper there!!! It’s a shame that Sanatoriums, which at first seemed like a reputable company, does such things to its clients...

Very good hotel. Located near the springs, in a quiet place. All new. Excellent sound insulation. Very friendly staff, ready to help and answer all questions. Excellent food in the form of a buffet: Always several types of meat and fish, vegetables and cereals, fruits and delicious desserts. It’s especially nice that the heavy entrance doors to the hotel open automatically.

The hotel is very nice, everything is new, neat and clean. The hotel is small, so it seems that all the staff know you personally, which is nice. Located from the springs at the top of the mountain, go up and down the stairs 150 steps in one direction. An excellent replacement for the gym, which by the way is very modest (only 5 exercise machines - a treadmill, a bicycle, a concept, vibration and for the upper belt - all the basics, but I needed a stepper). If you go around to the springs, you can do without steps, but walking along the slope is also quite difficult for older people. Room 103 is spacious with a balcony. Sound insulation is good, even though the room is shared with another. Cleaning is done 2 times, but if you are in the room before 18.00, then after 18.00 you will not receive evening turndown service. Food - in general, everything is very varied and good (see below for details). The treatment center - the head physician Natalya - is wonderful. Other procedure specialists do too. The sauna and swimming pool are all very clean and beautiful, the young workers are very pleasant and polite. Although the pool is small, the impression is good. We went to other 5-star resorts to see, so far this hotel is the best for us! We haven’t been to Savoy yet... So Olympic Palace, don’t relax))))))Negatives
Restaurant: need to put up more signs describing the dishes. Be sure to indicate where the dishes contain milk and eggs. The staff in the restaurant: in one shift - excellent, but in the second (where there are 2 male waiters), they do not greet or say goodbye and remove all the food 5 minutes before the end of the meal. Also, already 20 minutes before the end of the meal, all the tables are set for the next reception and you have to ask for the table to be re-set. Another shift - everyone is polite and you can have time to eat even if you are 10 minutes late. Food: sometimes there were no boiled vegetables for dinner, tomatoes were completely tasteless all the time, there wasn’t enough octopus already in the middle of dinner. It would be great to give cottage cheese for dinner all the time. In general, the food is good, SOLID 4+. Room (lived in 103): short glass wall shower. There is always a swamp in the bathroom after washing! ALSO THE PROBLEM WITH THE BED: it is hard and wooden all around, and protrudes a lot in the corners. When you accidentally touch it, it hurts your legs very much, you walked around with bruises! It needs to be upholstered with soft material or replaced. The reception does not always respond to requests - they asked for a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door 2 times, both times they ignored it. Another day I went to ask the maid. It's a shame there isn't free bottled water every day. Almost all 5 star hotels provide bottles at night. Treatment center: The girl who conducts underwater baths and massages doesn’t know Russian at all, which is not entirely convenient. The rest know everything, almost all are friendly and polite. Additional procedures: I took anti-cellulite massage several times. The best masseuse is a young girl with red-red curly hair, Merka's name or something like that. The massage is very energetic, intense and strong, just like a massage should be. I do this kind of massage all the time in St. Petersburg, it’s perfect. The other masseuse (Yana, it seems) didn’t like it, the massage was weak, she did it with gloves. Hair salon: We went to have a look, we didn’t like it, the cosmetics were some old Revlon, there were very few procedures, we got the impression that the salon was stuck in the 90s. She didn’t do anything, although she wanted to do restorative procedures for her hair.

A wonderful sanatorium, we were pleasantly surprised by the work of the kitchen. in large sanatoriums, the restaurant, as a rule, is the weak link. Usually on vacation we take breakfast, and spend lunch and dinner in our favorite restaurants in Karlovy Vary. Here we had half board during our stay (there were no other food offers when ordering), we went for lunch once, rather out of curiosity, and refused to go to other restaurants. Very varied menu, wonderful service. True, at breakfast the food eaten was not always replenished promptly, but these are minor things. In general, everything is wonderful. We'll come again. I would like to specifically mention the girls massage therapists, they do their job very conscientiously. And the fact that the hotel is located high on the mountain even has its advantages - running on the stairs three times a day can easily replace half an hour on a treadmill.Negatives

We lived in an ordinary double room, it has everything you need, a nice spacious bathroom, a comfortable large bed, everything is comfortable, we liked everything. The location on a small mountain may not be very suitable for those who have problems with their legs; on the contrary, we liked to walk. The food is excellent, the chef is great. Ваши пожелания мы рассмотрим, но если Вам не хватало полочек в ванной, то в отеле имеются переносные полочки для таких случаев, жаль, что Вы об этом нам не сообщили, мы бы Вам ее предоставили.
