We rested in the sanatorium "Čajkovskij Palace". In principle, we liked everything. The food is good - a lot of fruits (melons, pineapples, apples, kiwis, oranges, grapes, bananas, sometimes pears), pastries, delicious coffee from a coffee machine of different types (only in the mornings ), many meat dishes - there is always chicken or turkey, beef, pork, and also 2 types of fish. There are always fresh vegetables, olives, 2 types of milk porridge in the morning. Egg dishes for breakfast in a single copy - or boiled eggs , or scrambled eggs, or a type of omelet, these dishes are often “overdried” and not tasty, sometimes in the end there may not be any left. Also for breakfast there is cottage cheese, natural and fruit yoghurts. There is always different types of tea bags, water, three types of juices - quite decent, jams, honey. Someone said that the food has become worse, you need to “hunt” for buns, I can’t compare, because... It was our first time there, but we were satisfied with everything. I would like to thank all the nurses, doctors, restaurant workers, and cleaners for creating a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere during my entire stay at the sanatorium. In the sanatorium there is never a question of replacing procedures at a time convenient for the patient; during excursions, restaurant workers always provide excellent dry rations and any problem that arises can be solved due to good service. The city's decoration is its architecture, its water is its asset, but this is not the merit of the current officials. city and resort management. Considering my bitter experience, my relatives postponed their trip to KV and I advise everyone to think through many little things, because... promotions for accommodation in winter do not guarantee you a good holiday. It’s a small thing, but in two weeks I haven’t found a cafe where they make delicious coffee. I concluded: Czechs are not coffee lovers, but they don’t bother for tourists and save on poor quality beans. There are also complaints about the restaurant of the Čajkovskij Palace hotel. Room - double, two-room, very spacious, well furnished, with two TVs, large bright bathroom (all hygiene products are of good quality, in tubes). Restaurant - buffet, free seating, tables for 4 people, there is a partition between many tables. Drinks are free for both breakfast and dinner. The food quality is good. Medical center - the nurses are very friendly, a standard set of procedures, as in many KV hotels, the doctor meets the client’s wishes, but the reception itself is absolutely formal. There is a swimming pool and saunas (in the Tchaikovsky part of the hotel). Cleaning is satisfactory, but vacuuming is rare. Change of towels on request, every day if necessary. The entire hotel staff tries to be attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will recommend it to our friends. Thank you!Negatives
Our stay was 8 days - the linen was not changed. The pool and sauna area requires more thorough cleaning and possibly partial repairs. Saunas are paid. We couldn’t get into the lobby bar, it was closed, a couple of times we came around 16.30-17 hours on weekdays and on 1.01 it was also closed. There is no opportunity to drink tea in the evening. It’s a pity that such a common and free procedure in many hotels as lymphatic drainage is paid.
