I would like to wish to somehow optimize the schedule of procedures - long pauses between them “steal” a lot of time. Although it is clear that this is not easy. In the "superior" room, both sinks were clogged (water did not flow well). They told the staff about this, but nothing was done (although locksmiths and other technical staff were constantly scurrying around the hotel).

Hello, I vacationed in this sanatorium in April 2016. Overall the impression is good. The room is gorgeous, two rooms, only the view from the window let us down and when the ventilation in the restaurant was working it was a bit noisy, but when not there was silence, only the birds were singing. I liked the food most of all, special thanks to the waitresses and cooks. Treatment is based on the principle of doing no harm, but everything I wanted was prescribed. The hotel does not have the opportunity to drink tea and coffee in the morning or evening. It is desirable to have furniture, armchairs, chairs, and a table on the balcony. I think you need to understand that a person who goes to Karlovy Vary for 3 weeks comes not only to admire the extraordinary beauty of the region, but also to receive appropriate treatment. At my first appointment with the doctor, I brought the test results and ultrasound. She explained in detail all the problems (diseases of the gastrointestinal tract). I was offered 8 inhalations and 8 foot bath procedures. I had no complaints about bad breathing or pain in my legs. A total of 3 partial massages were prescribed. I understand that the main thing is, of course, the drinking course, but helping the body in the form of proper procedures is simply necessary. Previously, I vacationed in Karlovy Vary twice; my choice was the Villa Ritter Hotel. It is a pity that the hotel did not accept guests at this time this year. The Tchaikovsky Palace team has a lot to learn, especially since both these hotels are four-star. About cleaning the room - sometimes they didn’t even clean it at all. I had to contact the administrator with a request to remove the room. They will take away a dirty robe or towel and for some reason forget to bring clean ones. The food also wants to be better. I will never go to this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone.

It was not a pleasant moment during check-in. The room initially provided turned out to be on the minus 3rd floor, which turned out to be an unpleasant surprise, since information about the availability of such accommodation options in this Tchaikovsky Palace building was not provided. Clear information on accommodation options must be provided, I agree to pay extra for the view from the window and the size of the room. The second accommodation option was provided on the ground floor, the room did not correspond at all to the information provided when booking, it was small, with windows facing the road. It is very noisy. Only the third option suited me completely. But I had to worry, which is absolutely not necessary on vacation. Later it turned out that there were free rooms on the second floor on Sadovaya Street, with a beautiful view and silence. But married couples who arrived later than me were placed in these rooms. That is, it turns out that if you are traveling alone, then you are accommodated according to the residual principle. I don’t mind returning to this sanatorium at all, all other aspects suited me, but it’s not very clear how to resolve the issue of accommodation in the future.

I really liked the view from the window, the air at the resort was amazing, I was happy to sleep with the window open (despite it being November, the temperature was about 10 degrees). I give the hotel staff the highest score. No problems for two weeks stay. Excellent organization of accommodation, provision of medical services, recreation. Fully corresponds to the description on the Sanatorium com website. Overall I really liked it and would like to return if possible.

The location of the sanatorium is good, the surroundings are very beautiful. We walked with the children four times a day. There are a lot of interesting places for walking. Atypical room 502 is spacious with a large bathroom. Everything is new, clean. But in the room the radiator is only in the bathroom, the floor in the bathroom is cold. Heating in the room is only due to air conditioning. It was +10, so it was cold only in the morning; I can’t imagine living in this room in winter. The children and I liked the food. Most of the staff are kind people who strive to speak Russian. I really liked Zamecke Lazne; you can visit them on weekends when there are no procedures in the sanatorium. Try a massage from Miroslav, super professional. My back stopped hurting after one massage. I highly recommend it!Negatives

You find out about this only when you have nothing to dry the wet children with, she doesn’t allow you to be in the jacuzzi with two children and makes comments, she wants to go about her business when you are about to leave and asks her to wait I didn’t want to see her a second time. When leaving the hotel at 7 o'clock, I asked the reception to count the wine I ordered at the restaurant and a bottle of water taken from the minibar. The employee Zavrel Filip went up to the room without me, then announced an amount that exceeded my estimate. As it turned out, he charged me wine from the minibar, which I did not drink. Why should I drink it in my room when I have it at dinner? Go up to your room and look for wine for a penny when no one is waiting for a taxi. This is what the dishonest staff is counting on. Breakfast time coincides with the procedure schedule - it is almost difficult to combine. I recommend to the hotel management to expand breakfast hours, as in other hotels. The hotel has absolutely not resolved the issue of evening leisure. Karlovy Vary is a secular resort, but a residential area. (other hotels offer at least some activities) It makes no sense to take a massage, and even with an additional payment to the nurse directly, it is better to turn to trusted massage therapists in the city. The hotel's beauty salon does not accept credit cards.

At first we were offered a room on the first floor with windows facing the road, we decided that it would be noisy. And they immediately asked to change this number. Many thanks to the administrator Natalie for her patience, we were offered 3 rooms to choose from. We moved to the 2nd floor on the other side, but found ourselves above the restaurant; the windows cannot be opened because everything is cooked in our room. And only the third time we were accommodated on the fifth floor in an excellent room 502. They explained to us that guests basically know which rooms are the best and book rooms right away. The food is excellent. The staff is polite and helpful.
