We went for a week, the package included 17 procedures. The doctor prescribed all the procedures that we needed, which was very pleasant. The staff was polite, diligent (snow-white linen, towel), everything was coordinated and clear. The only thing that was shocking was the smell, unpleasant, upon entering the hotel, but the overall positive emotions somehow smoothed over later... Special thanks to the kitchen (I found everything dietary for myself). The location of the hotel and also nearby parking (a little to the left in the building opposite the cable car and immediately the cheapest city parking 32 euros per week) everything is nearby. First and most importantly: it’s not tasty, there’s not a lot of choice of food, it’s not cozy because of the restaurant staff, whose main task is...to make sure that no one eats too much, it’s just a nightmare...you eat and feel...they’re watching... ..one of my tablemates was reprimanded...that she was taking a lot of food...Horror! For a sanatorium, the menu is very incorrect, firstly, 3 meals a day with a ban (!) on taking anything with you... I was used to eating 5-6 times in small portions... but I couldn’t do it for lunch or for an afternoon snack even take an apple...just a nightmare... The bed linen was not changed even once in a week, and the sheet had a hole... Treatment...I arrived at 13:00 on Monday and there was no longer a doctor’s examination, no procedures prescribed. ..A day was lost for treatment out of my 7...Why?! My decision: not to stay in Yesenius anymore.

The location is very favorable in terms of drinking water, the main geyser is 100 meters away. This is the soul of the city, giving it life. Well, the city itself... A FAIRY TALE... Even in the rain, you were drawn to walk and admire the beautiful architecture. Don’t forget to lift your head up, you have already seen many details of the houses in the photo. The room is very spacious and clean. They asked to change the light bulb in the floor lamp (it had burned out), and in the morning they changed it. We had clean towels every day. Opposite the theater, where they listened to classics performed by a symphony orchestra. There is also a bus stop No. 2 (which goes to the large Varyada supermarket), and we also went on excursions from there. The first procedure is at 7 am. 4-5 per day. We managed to get to some castle by lunchtime, thus visiting Cheb and Bechev nad Tepla, and Loket, for which we were allocated one day off. There they allowed themselves to break the regime with smoked beer. And what a beauty it is... We walked back through the Svatoš Rocks (9 km) along the most picturesque path along the Ohří River. We went up on foot and by cable car to “Diana”, what a stunning view of the city and surrounding area from there!!! Many thanks to the site and V. Having read negative reviews about the Jessenius sanatorium, we went with caution. By the end of the treatment, they concluded that whoever went for what got it))). For those who don’t like creaking floors, there is the Kislovodsk resort - Welcome. For those who don't have enough food, compare it to breakfast at home. And in general, you need to eat less... otherwise the treatment will be in vain. Oh, that's a bit rude... I apologize. We had enough of everything, despite the fact that we didn’t try some pates and cuts at all. But I think we need to be careful with shouty comments and always remember that people and their needs are always different. And here the price and quality correspond.

As well as the location of the hotel itself in the center of the resort, despite some star rating nuances, it is very convenient and advantageous. Since we arrived by car, we liked the close location of the guarded garage on Libusina 21. Very close to it is the Funicular (Tram) on which you can go down to Theater Square, and from there it’s a stone’s throw to the hotel. Yes, indeed, the rooms themselves (I mean only our room with windows facing the courtyard) and the interior interior of the hotel leave much to be desired. The red pallas are trampled and probably can no longer be properly cleaned. If they put laminate or linoleum down it would look better. We refused our room because the carpet had dirty stains and gave us an unpleasant impression. I understand three stars, but we are in Europe. Fortunately, the reception staff met us halfway and offered us an apartment at the Elephant Hotel. We liked the room there and it smoothed out the first negative impression. The second negative is that we were already at the hotel for a day and only in the evening of the next day we got to the initial examination with a doctor. Because of this, our treatment schedule was compressed and we felt stressed because we had to be on time everywhere. The treatment schedule was just as tight and in some places we literally had to eat on the go. This affected not only us, as I observed - many were dissatisfied. This was especially visible in drawing up a treatment schedule and combining it with shift feeding. The girl in the recipe explained this by the imperfection of the computer program. I think the administration should do something in this regard in the future. Everyone should know for themselves what they can and need. There is no nurse on duty. There is a lot of dust on the elevator grate and above, and we constantly breathe it while walking next to us on the stairs. The curtains in the restaurant had not been washed for a long time. The packed lunch comes with overcooked chicken fillet, but this is a gastric resort.

The sanatorium is located very well from the springs, a 2-3 minute walk, a room with a balcony overlooking the river is quite spacious, the furniture is new, a wide double bed with a hard mattress, a spacious bathroom with a corner shower, the accommodation corresponds to 3- m to the stars. The food is more than sufficient. Breakfast for 4 stars: 2-3 types of porridge, cottage cheese, yogurt, egg or omelet, muesli, sausage and cheese slices, pate, sliced vegetables, salads, fruits, 3 types of juices, tea, coffee. Lunch and dinner are chosen from a menu of 8 dishes plus 2 types of soups. There is always fish and various meats to choose from: pork, beef, veal, chicken. The staff is very attentive and polite. As for treatment, this is an individual matter, but the staff tries to carry out all the procedures prescribed by the doctor efficiently. I would like to give a good review and recommend the massage therapist Vasily. In general, I liked my stay at this sanatorium, I hope to come again.

I was vacationing in Karlovy Vary in the Jessenius sanatorium from 18.09. to 01.10. 2016. The location of the sanatorium is wonderful. It is located in the very center of the famous promenade with a river flowing through the middle, with numerous cafes, benches, leisurely strolling resort guests. A colonnade with springs is located within walking distance from the hotel. This is amazing. The advantages include the relative variety of lunch and evening menus in the restaurant. Almost every day there was fish: trout, carp, salmon, cod, different types of meat. I liked how oxygen therapy or oxygen therapy is performed at the Jessenius sanatorium. Perhaps this is all the positive aspects.Negatives
The main disadvantage of the sanatorium is the small number of prescribed procedures. We come for unique baths with Karlovy Vary mineral water and for those procedures that we cannot get at home. 5 days were assigned for 12 days! bath + I received 2 baths after a long discussion with the head nurse. It is not possible to purchase additional paid procedures, since the medical department of the sanatorium and the restaurant are served by nearby hotels. This means that the entire plan of procedures is tightly scheduled. Gas injections are disgusting. The nurse pokes them so fast that you doubt when she manages to release the gas. After this machine-gun fire across the patient’s flesh, the entire back bleeds and is eventually completely sealed with a plaster. The restaurant operates in 2 shifts (again for the reason that it also serves guests of nearby hotels and is more reminiscent of a factory canteen). Here you won’t be able to relax in a pleasant conversation with your table neighbors. Those who arrive late may be shouted at and disciplined in an unacceptable manner. The breakfast buffet is quite limited. Cheeses and sausages of the lowest grade. True, there is always cottage cheese, porridge, eggs. There is a special conversation about the staff. Unfriendly, gloomy, unfriendly. No one says hello, they don’t always answer your greeting. This is especially true for canteen workers. There can be two reasons: either the staff is overburdened with serving such a large number of visitors and they have no time for smiles, or they hate resort guests as a class. But these are internal problems of the hotel. Train your staff! These problems should not concern vacationers. The impression from such staff is depressing. Accommodation...Only on the third day I received a normal room, having replaced 2 rooms that were unsuitable for habitation. One was located opposite a rare elevator with cast-iron doors and a rumbling mechanism, the windows of the other proposed room overlooked a powerful kitchen hood, which functioned day and night. All upholstered furniture requires immediate replacement. Something like that.
