The doctor who prescribes the procedures does not take into account the wishes at all. They asked that she not prescribe exercises, since we do them ourselves every day, but she said “you don’t have to go,” but I will prescribe them. And she was even prescribed 2 times in one day. The question is, why pay more for procedures that you can do yourself?!

On weekends the sauna and swimming pools are very crowded. For so many people, the pool is very small. From Monday to Friday there was again enough space. No one speaks German, and not everyone can speak Russian, but this was not a problem either.

The only drawback I would say is the ill-conceived transportation time back to the airport. Since we had to arrive at the airport 2-3 hours in advance, depending on the flights, it was 13:00, and since it was rush hour, a couple of times we got into traffic jams on the road, the driver was delivering other passengers, we arrived at the airport an hour, an hour and a half before departure of flights. Everyone on the bus was nervous, and after such a wonderful holiday this was completely undesirable.

We were in Gradiali for the second time and it was even more beautiful than last year. A very cozy bar has now been added next to the reception and the dining room has become almost twice as large. The conversation with the doctor was more detailed and the prescribed treatments were very good for us. The relaxation treatments are still great and highly recommended!! The general atmosphere in the hotel has become even calmer and more relaxed. So - always happy!!!

It's a pity that there is only one small indoor pool. The water in it is mineral! Always busy, you can’t swim normally. Construction is currently underway on a new building, where a large outdoor swimming pool is supposedly planned. We were unlucky with the weather, but this has nothing to do with the sanatorium.

Gorgeous nature, a lot of greenery, the purest air, 10 minutes walk to the sea. Parking next to the resort. Taxi to Basanavicius is 5.50, if you walk along the sea and the bridge for about an hour. The staff is friendly, almost everyone speaks Russian, the room was cleaned, towels were changed every day. Nice buffet. The procedures work smoothly, there is no need to wait anywhere. The girls from the physiotherapy department work superbly. Wonderful doctor Repšas Žydrūnas, very attentive reception. An excellent cryotherapy worker Rima Masiūnienė. The hotel is building an additional large block. This creates inconvenience: from 8:30 the drill works, fragments of foam plastic fly from the balcony and are embedded in the carpet on the floor of the room. Typically, information about construction or renovation work is reflected on the website or when booking. In this case, I discovered this only when I arrived at the hotel. In addition, these inconveniences do not affect the price in any way, quite the contrary: I was charged a municipal tax of 2 euros per night per person. It is important to note that in another hotel in the center of Palanga, where I moved after my holiday in Gradiali, I still paid 1 euro per night per person.

The folding sofa is very creaky. I would like the children's playground to be a little larger and more varied, there are a lot of children in the sanatorium and given that the pool is open from 15.00, it is very difficult to keep the children occupied until then, especially if the weather is bad. It would be great if there was a pool for children that was open in the morning. The sanatorium is building a new building, maybe there will be a swimming pool for children :)
