We hoped for an “unforgettable New Year’s Eve” and we “got it”: - the kitchen on December 31st worked “as usual” until 19.30; - New Year’s dinner was marked (from other dinners) with a plate (one for everyone - “those who didn’t have time are late”) with scraps of red fish (the kind of scraps that are usually sold at the lowest price); - the buffet (promised by Ivan Ivanovich instead of New Year's dinner) at 23.00 on December 31st consisted of “unforgettable” kebabs: bread + cucumber (in different variations - salted or fresh) + bread + unfortunate half-dead Spanish olive. On one plate there were also kebabs with smoked sausage and some kind of stale cheese, but we didn’t understand that that was “all”, so... we didn’t get it.... - there was no music in the “lounge” at all (the staff puffed and said “the audio system doesn’t work”), so on New Year’s Day we were left without even music; - a couple of dead artificial trees at the entrance were apparently supposed to “convey the New Year’s mood,” which, to our great amazement, we never felt, so we were very upset, - the towels in the spa were ALL full of holes, without exception, - .... In general, we entertained ourselves as best we could... Of course, we will NEVER return to this hotel again and do not recommend it to others! (I will send a video of one of the “dinners” in another letter.) In general, there was a strong feeling of “cruel savings in everything” - it was very unpleasant, to put it delicately.
