Positives

Very precise execution of all actions by drivers (taxi drivers) involved in transfers from Budapest airport to Heviz and back. This includes a sign with the name of the person you meet, and polite communication with a smile during a two-hour trip, despite not knowing the Russian language. Comfortable cars. No tips!! The first driver took an advance payment for the return transfer, but the second did not ask about payment. A nice comfortable Deluxe B room with a view of the town, although it was blocked by the roof of the school, in the courtyard of which noisy ball competitions took place every day, but this did not interfere with rest and treatment. Convenient placement of treatment rooms, a sauna and two swimming pools: one with thermal water +38, the other with clear artesian water +25 degrees. Neat and polite service in the restaurant, the menu has a lot of vegetables and fruits. The streets of the town are very clean and tidy, with strict adherence to traffic rules by drivers of numerous cars. I was amazed by Lake Heviz (12-15 minutes of quiet walking from the sanatorium) with the scale and organization of treatment.

Negatives

During my 11 days in the restaurant I was not able to try any fish due to its absence from the menu. Despite the variety in the menu offer, it is the same every day. It's a pity that the salt room was not working.

Positives

The rooms are good, cleaning, change of towels are all good

Negatives

I would like to diversify my diet, especially fruits and vegetables. A 10 minute massage is not a cure.

Positives

1. We thank sanatoriums.com for the good organization of our trip. All confirmations came immediately. There was no need to remind us of anything; on the contrary, we were reminded about the transfer in time. There were no problems with accommodation, transfer, or treatment. We paid for everything on the spot, without prepayment. 2. Hotel Aquamarine is very conveniently located in Heviz. The hotel, of course, is a bit old, building A, where we lived, is already in need of cosmetic repairs, especially the plumbing, but this did not affect our vacation. The room has a TV, kettle, refrigerator, hairdryer, cups, glasses. The staff doesn't speak Russian, but they try to understand. 3. The food is good: for breakfast - porridge, omelet, eggs, sausages, cheese, sausage, vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, cocoa, milk, juice, for dinner - 2 types of soup, a lot of vegetables, turkey, pork dishes, chicken, cakes, pastries. There was fish 2 times. Drinks for extra fee. 4. The hotel has 3 swimming pools: 2 with hot mineral water. water, one outside, indoor for swimming (27-29 degrees), 2 good saunas (open from 12 noon), there is drinking medicinal water. Salt room is free. 5. Treatment. The doctor's appointment is poorly organized. Because We arrived on Friday, and they gave us a number to see the doctor along with the room key for Monday. At the appointed time there was a line in the corridor. The doctor measured the pressure, looked at the spine and prescribed procedures taking into account the wishes. I practically didn’t look at the medical documents. All prescribed procedures were done on time and efficiently. The staff is friendly. 6. Lake Heviz is wonderful. We quickly sorted out the organization and sailed in any weather. 6. Entertainment. We went on an excursion to Keszthely. I really liked it and remembered it. And we also watched an operetta concert in the Festetics Palace. I advise everyone. So much excitement and emotions. They play, sing and dance very well.

Negatives

1. In the hotel, and in the city of Heviz, all life ends at 19-20 hours. The pools are closed and the hotel is quiet. Then all that remains is to go to bed. The main contingent is elderly people from different countries (Hungary, Germany, Slovenia, Russia and even China), there are few young people. I would like the hotel to have the opportunity for those who want to have fun in the evening: maybe sing, dance, listen to music, chat, watch a movie, play quizzes, etc. Otherwise, you meet your neighbors down the hall in the sauna or in the pool.

Positives

The results of the procedures were very good, I did not expect such improvements.

Negatives

The pools and sauna close early, which we never managed to get into, it was always not working. In the evenings there is absolutely nothing to do, everything around closes at 8 or even 6 pm. Despite the fact that there are many Russians in the hotel, the staff does not want to communicate in Russian.

Positives

Pros: a very calm and measured holiday. amazing diversity of nature. accommodation at the hotel corresponds to the level of 3 stars. the hotel staff responded clearly and promptly to requests and questions asked. Thanks to the medical staff - Rita, Atillo and Holico. quality food and good work of the service restaurant staff.

Negatives

When receiving procedures, the medical staff of the therapy department does not fully and conscientiously follow the recommendations for therapeutic massage and underwater hydromassage. There are no hours in the salt room.

Positives

The town of Heviz is very nice, a park city, a lot of greenery and flowers. The location of the hotel is favorable: the lake, center, market are no more than 15 minutes away. Conveniently, the procedures can be completed at the hotel, and there is also a swimming pool with regular water (indoor and heated) and two thermal pools. Very good food (I took breakfast and dinner). Room cleaning, change of towels and bed linen were done quite well, the staff was very attentive. Unlike the information on the website, the room had a hairdryer and a bathrobe, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall the quality was consistent with the price. I would especially like to note the work of the hotel guides, in particular Robinson - Tatiana, very attentive, helped in organizing all the excursions, as well as cope with a number of everyday problems and issues. Every day I could watch how she takes care of her clients like a mother, solves all their problems from morning until late evening, leads her by the hand around the hotel, showing all the offices, swimming pools, halls, etc. More such responsible and caring people. Many thanks to her for her humanity.

Negatives

The room was in building A, located on the ground floor above the mud baths, and the windows overlooked the restaurant: noise from the working mud preparation plant from 6 in the morning and from the restaurant staff from 5 in the morning, the windows were always closed with blinds, like in a dungeon. The entire number of rooms in building A requires renovation of the premises and plumbing, the furniture has already been partially replaced, but the doors (I lived in room A109) are simply terrible. There is also a minus in the diet - the lack of fresh vegetables at dinner and this is in the high season, everything is only pickled, perhaps this is a national tradition, but not acceptable for everyone.

Positives

I liked the food. overall a good hotel. Medical services (procedures) are also good!

Negatives

In general, I liked my stay in the room, except for the constantly dripping water from the tap in the bathroom, which was turned on with great difficulty. in the toilet (separate cubicle) there was a very unpleasant, ineradicable smell... there is no device for drying wet laundry: towels, swimsuits, etc. all this had to be hung on the radiator (if it fit) and on the handle of the window frame.

Positives

Overall, I had a good impression. We came to Heviz not for comfort, but for the treatment of our son. There is a slight improvement in his health.

Negatives

Complete lack of medical supervision and consultation; doctors do not speak Russian at all. Fortunately, there are stands with explanations in Russian and fellow countrymen who will explain everything and share their experience. The hotel staff is not very friendly, communication is extremely limited. The shower in the pool (especially in the women's section) is not very clean; no one responded to our comments.

Positives

I really liked the food and the service of the staff in the dining room. The location of the sanatorium is simply excellent: not far from the center, and at the same time quiet and peaceful. The window is covered with insect mesh - a big plus!

Negatives

Both in the restaurant and at the reception they speak neither Russian nor German. There were difficulties with communication. The shower room is made of dinosaurs, it is very inconvenient to use the shower and wash your face. The toilet is from the same series, with a broken flush button.

Positives

We have long wanted to visit Lake Heviz, and now our dreams have come true! After all, what you believe in and what you expect with all your soul and with all your heart will definitely happen! 🙌🏻 We chose the Aquamarine Hotel for accommodation and treatment. The hotel resembles a Soviet-era sanatorium, a solid 3!, but quite clean and tidy. Since our package included treatment, robes were provided in the room, which was definitely convenient. The medical center staff is friendly and welcoming. The vacationers are mostly Hungarians of advanced age. There were two meals a day, breakfast was European, dinner was quite decent, but this is from that opera - when you can’t put everything on your plate. The lake is a 10-minute walk away, so it wasn’t a bother as a walk. In the evening, a charming promenade before bed - with a visit to cozy cafes with live music. Of the minuses, I would note the unfriendliness of the staff at the reception, and the complete lack of desire to speak both Russian and English. We explained ourselves with the help of an online translator, oh gods! Thanks for the Yandex translator! In general, we were satisfied with the rest and recovery. Cheers! All the best! If you have any questions, write, I’ll be glad to answer. Best regards, Elvira.

Positives

The positives include: close to the lake, the hotel has swimming pools - very helpful in bad weather, food and accommodation correspond to the star rating of the hotel. The doctor speaks Russian.

Negatives

What is wrong? The doctor gives the order, others carry it out, not only not speaking the language, but also not wanting to understand. It seems to me that if there are so many Russian speakers, the staff must know the basics. I can say hello and goodbye in at least 7 languages, why is it that in a sanatorium, where the main profit in the season from Russians, this is not how kindness is demonstrated. I received mud wraps, in three out of five procedures the nurse (I hope) stubbornly put mud on the kidneys instead of the sacrum marked by the doctor . I have bad kidneys and got irritated when asked. The towels were not changed even once in 8 days. Transfer from Sarmellek cost 15 euros, return 10 euros. For a round trip reservation it costs 18 euros.

Positives

Visit to the thermal lake.

Negatives

Very small rooms without air conditioning. It's stuffy in the summer. At the reception desk they speak neither Russian nor English. Therefore, for the first two days, with three meals a day, we were not fed lunch. The hotel is not a restaurant, but a “Sovdepovskaya” canteen. Very small selection of dishes. The only fruits are plums, peaches, and sometimes watermelon. There are no fresh vegetables. They are watching you so that God forbid you end up with something. The pool is only open until 19. This is very bad. After dinner there is nowhere to go, only TV. Everything is as in the saying: “Cheap fish - filthy fish!”

Positives

We are pleased with the presence of swimming pools on the territory of the sanatorium and the opportunity to sunbathe immediately

Negatives

When ordering a room, there is no option to choose a view from the room. During the day the room is stuffy, there are no air conditioners.

Positives

1) the room in building B is very spacious and comfortable, has everything you need (except air conditioning) 2) beautiful view from the window 3) very tasty and healthy food, some dishes for dinner are simply worthy of admiration. True, breakfasts are quite simple. 4) the hotel has its own small park area

Negatives

1) an invoice was issued for 123 Euros more, I had to prove this obvious mistake for 24 hours. I was forced to spend not only a lot of time, but also nerves to get my money back. 7 people were involved in searching for an error where a junior school student could have handled the calculations. The hotel's explanations cited one reason or another, and when they finally admitted the mistake, their explanation was even more ridiculous. It’s good that I had time to force them to sort it out and return the money, because... I paid the bill not on the last day of my stay, but 4 days before departure. To be honest, it all looked like a scam. 2) Communication problems. The hotel staff (with the exception of the reception) not only does not speak English, but does not even understand it. But Russian is poorly understood and almost never spoken. Therefore, it is completely unclear how to explain. 3) Unlike organized tourism, if you book a trip through a website, then no one is involved with you. All questions, misunderstandings and problems have to be resolved independently, directly with the hotel administration, and this would be normal if not for point 3. 4) The translator, whom the hotel administration sometimes uses to communicate with vacationers, namely Tatyana Dezhi, frankly speaking, simply cannot, and what is most sad, does not want to not only delve into the situation, but even simply translate. With all her actions and inaction, as well as her words, Tatyana, without any embarrassment, at every opportunity, demonstrates how she was “gotten” by her visiting compatriots, and she won’t even lift a finger to help. Tatyana works at the Aquamarin hotel from Robinson tours, offering excursion tours, while voicing old prices, which then in fact turn out to be 20 Euros more, as was the case, for example, with a trip to Vienna. As it turns out, she cannot even answer correctly the question of what hour the lake is open until, and what to do if she loses her bracelet-pass to the lake (and she lives and works in Heviz). He doesn’t know, but what’s even worse, he gives out information that does not correspond to reality, scaring vacationers with fictitious fines and the impossibility of restoring the subscription. From my point of view, condoning such “gross” unprofessionalism of the false translator Tatyana is simply disrespectful towards Russian tourists.

Positives

Good organization of the treatment process, good quality of the procedures provided, the sanatorium has its own thermal pools and a swimming pool. The kitchen works well and inventively, the dinner menu is varied, pleasant desserts in the evenings. The room has everything you need, all equipment works. The room was cleaned regularly, linen and towels were changed according to schedule. The visit to the thermal lake is also thoughtfully organized. All the workers at the reception tried to understand our wishes or questions, although they did not speak Russian, but we managed to communicate in a mixture of Russian-English-German, and even joked. I also liked the opportunity to use the services of Robinson Tour, order and carry out an excursion to Vienna. In general, my husband and I’s expectations were fully justified, although it is too early to talk about the effectiveness of the treatment, since we only returned home yesterday.

Negatives

Since the weather was quite hot, there was a lack of air conditioning in the room, which was especially bad at night. But air conditioning is probably a different price. There is no cover for the bed; I brought with me a colored sheet on which I could sit or lie during the day without damaging the bed linen. (The same is true in the sanatoriums of the Czech Republic where we visit). Another disadvantage is the virtual absence of fresh vegetables at the height of summer, but there are a lot of pickled ones, which is difficult for not very healthy people at the resort.

I call the Aquamarine Hotel a “heavenly place.” Convenient location in a quiet and cozy part of Heviz. A relaxing holiday and no problems - what else does a tired and nervous resident of the metropolis need? Fabulous !

Negatives

The only negative is that the hotel staff does not speak Russian or does not want to speak!

Positives

Friendly staff, comfortable two-room rooms, pleasant atmosphere.

Negatives

I didn’t like the transfer from Budapest airport to Heviz. For 4 people a car is not enough. For more than two hours, the three of us in the back seat are very difficult. The pool closes early. 3 hours were not enough in the lake pass.

Positives

Very good food and service. The presence of a Russian translator greatly facilitates the stay in the boarding house for Russian-speaking clients. Friendly attitude of staff towards clients and organization of procedures.

Negatives

It is advisable that the pools are open until 20-21 hours. And of course, the smells of hydrogen sulfide in the rooms located above the pools are not pleasant. Then you get used to it. It is advisable to change bed linen more often, not once every 7 days, but every 3 days

Everything is very good, thank you for organizing our holiday and treatment. From the moment we were picked up at Budapest airport and arrived at the Aquamarine Hotel, we felt cared for and attended to. Special thanks to Vladislav Burya for helping me choose the right hotel, with excellent treatment and excellent food. We were there on the eve of Catholic Easter, and I would like to mention the Chef, all the dishes were varied and very tasty. Thanks to Tatyana from Robinson Tours. He just greets Russian-speaking people like family, he will tell and show everything and help if there are difficulties. We vacationed from March 11 to March 30. And I want to return to such caring people. See you next year.

Positives

A quiet place for peace and relaxation. Excellent price-quality ratio. Own source min. water and 2 pools with water from the lake, which made it possible to take the hydrotherapy procedure 3 times a day: in the morning and evening in the sanatorium, in the afternoon on the lake. If you take a trip with treatment, then there is a robe in your room. There is a large swimming pool with a temperature of 37 degrees. , 2 saunas. The salt room is open 24 hours a day. All necessary procedures right in the sanatorium, high quality massage. Many of the medical staff speak Russian.

Negatives

Soviet-era sanatorium. The reception staff do not speak Russian. If it weren’t for the help of travel agency representatives on duty at the sanatorium, there would have been no one to help. A large swimming pool and saunas are only open until 19:00, so it’s either dinner or relaxation. It is necessary to extend the opening hours of the relaxation zone to 21:00. The food in the restaurant is monotonous, but dietary. The waiters closely monitor every visitor and take away even a bitten apple from the old women. When ordering a tour through this site, the transfer is very expensive, 2 times more expensive than with tour operators.
