The location of the Elephant Hotel is convenient, in the historical center of Karlovy Vary, next to the springs. The view from the window is amazing! The food is varied and for every taste. The medical facilities are outdated. But if you look at the low cost of accommodation and treatment, the price corresponds to the quality. Treatment for unpretentious vacationers for whom comfort does not come first.

Good location of the hotel, on the main street, next to the springs. Accommodation issues were resolved instantly - what I booked was what I received. A room with a wonderful view of Tepla and the theater. Cleaning was carried out daily, towels were changed upon request, without problems. After a week of stay, bed linen was changed. The food is varied - fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, fish and meat dishes daily. If you weren't there for lunch, you could get a dry breakfast. All without any problems. The restaurant staff worked very efficiently. The medical staff is competent. There was no doctor’s appointment on the day of arrival, but upon check-in they immediately informed us about the time of the morning appointment with the nurse, who prescribed the first procedures before the doctor’s appointment. Later that day, the doctor determined a list of procedures. I received the procedures at the appointed time. I was satisfied with the treatment.Negatives

Terrible treatment, the last procedure can be at 17.30. The treatment part serves 3 or 4 sanatoriums at the same time. There are tons of people - the bazaar station, I don’t even want to go out for procedures. Indifference of the staff (they put it down and left) The food is not tasty and far from dietary (mayonnaise in salads, fried.....)

The food is absolutely not dietary, the service in the dining room is very unfriendly, the procedures are prescribed not those that are needed, but those that are still available, the sanatorium is overloaded, there is practically no treatment. A swimming pool is prescribed for my granddaughter with a cold and fever; the attitude towards the elderly is disgusting; they do not help with the danger of leaving the pool. We won't go again!

We vacationed in Carlsbad for three weeks and were very pleased. The place is the best, the staff is knowledgeable, the food is varied and for every taste. The most important advantage of our stay at the resort is the ratio of the benefits received (hotel accommodation, food, conversation with a doctor, procedures, etc.) and the price. If someone thinks that the rooms are not large enough and the food is too simple (although this is not the case), then there are enough other hotels in Karlovy Vary where you can find suitable comfort and chic. This is of course not the hotel's fault. In summer, a fountain on the river is turned on. If the windows are open, it makes a lot of noise; with the windows closed it's fine.
