The hotel has a very convenient location, close to all sources and at the same time the hotel is quiet, no noise disturbed us! The staff everywhere is very friendly and speaks Russian: at the reception, in the dining room, the nurses, the Russian doctor, I also really liked him and prescribed the right medication, I felt better the next day! The food is good, I liked it, the hotel is clean, the rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every other day (who cares, I personally don’t need it that often). The transfer from Sanatoriums.com was also excellent as always, my flight was delayed by an hour, the driver was waiting for me.Negatives
The mattress in the single room is terrible: old, cheap, sagging in the middle! I turned him over and swapped his legs and head, but nothing helped! At the reception they couldn’t help, they laid some kind of blanket on me, it was of no use! For a person who also has problems with his back or neck, like me (besides, I travel with my own pillow), this is simply murder! During the day I do relaxing procedures and gas injections, which help, and then after a night on such a mattress I get up with a broken back! And what's the point of doing them then?!

The beds were very hard, we had severe back pain, not just us but everyone who stayed in Hotel Ruže. Room was clean but the carpet, curtains and mattresses were very old and full of mites. I suffer from a mite allergy because of which I have to use asthma spray every time.

The treatment is rather weak, the massage is about nothing for 10 minutes (it’s better to immediately abandon this procedure and change it to another). They prescribed us weak procedures, although the Europeans in our hotel were prescribed better and more expensive ones, such as Charcot showers and baths, apparently some kind of selective policy... the only thing was that we were impressed with the gas injections, but we didn’t feel much of an effect from the treatment during the 10 days of our stay. We arrived on Thursday afternoon, procedures are only Mon-Fri until lunch. That is, in 10 days of stay we received procedures only in 6 days.

The first thing I would like to write is that upon arrival there were no procedures or examination by a sanatorium doctor, I waited 3 days for treatment to be prescribed, the second is nutrition, if you have any stomach problems and you hope to be cured in Karlovy Vary and in the sanatorium, then it’s very you are very mistaken, the food is not dietary, but in order for something to be prepared for you separately, you have to go and beg all day long for something to be prepared, if you don’t like the money and the sanatorium is not suitable, no one will return it to you, stomach or some problems you will never be cured of your health here, don’t deceive yourself and waste that kind of money, I also wanted to say for the sanatorium doctor, this is a different story, no one will do any analysis for you as it was written and explained in the video, I brought with me doctor’s notes and tests and the so-called doctor knows and understands no more than a primary school student, this is the reality, my advice is if you have any health problems and you are hoping for good treatment and help, then you are very mistaken and think 100 times before you go and pay such money for accommodation and food and not for treatment!!

Thin blankets in the room but it was warm, mattresses a bit hard. Eating room a bit too small, but supposedly part was under renovation. Not enough applications but that didn't bother me. Excursion offers only in Russian. In some hotels they were also in German.

I had a good rest and treatment. Good service, polite hotel staff. Clean, rooms cleaned every day, towels changed. Bed changed twice a week. All medical procedures were organized exactly on time, there was no need to wait. Good food, buffet, variety. There were fresh vegetables and fruits every day. The sanatorium is located 100 meters from the springs. Anyone who wants to have a good rest, come to Karlovy Vary and stay in “Ruzhe”. Next year I will come here again.Negatives
The food wants to be the best. There is no choice of first courses. At first the salads were stale, but they quickly improved. The food is very tasty. The service is good. I think that the sanatorium should have a nurse or doctor on duty. Not everyone in the sanatorium is from the Czech Republic, there are different situations. In 14 days you can get sick and have no one to turn to. This was the case in my case. I think that all this can be corrected

Workers and canteen food, zero. Many times we stumbled across leftovers from previous meals. And the food itself was like in a workers' canteen during the USSR. About the room and the bed, it’s just terrible. The bed reminded me of the bunks on the army guardhouse, an old mattress, and a board under it. Everything in the shower is old with cracks, etc. Please check these 4 stars? I wouldn't even give 1. I've been to the thermal bath twice and twice in Richmond, but I've never seen such disgrace anywhere.
