This is my second time coming, the first time was in December 2016. This time I took a Comfort category room, a wonderful room. Happy with everything! We were met at the airport and escorted by a wonderful driver, very polite. Service, friendly staff, procedures - everything is at the highest level. Spring Piestany is charming - magnificent nature, everything is blooming and fragrant, I really enjoyed the walks. The park on the island is full of life - turtles, beavers, swans on the river, ducks, peacocks, the river is teeming with fish. There are fairs in the city, a very pleasant atmosphere, you can relax your body and soul. I really didn’t want to leave, I’ll definitely come back here again. Thank you all very much!Negatives

I would especially like to note the work of the chef - all the dishes are prepared perfectly, the choice is varied. The sanatorium is well located - close to springs, a pedestrian bridge, and access to the city. The short distance to the Napoleon medical buildings does not make it difficult to accept procedures. We booked a comfort room. The level corresponds to four stars. Fully corresponds to the description and photographs on the site. The beds are comfortable. WiFi in the room works great. Very strong medical base. Three to five procedures per day are prescribed. If necessary, the treatment program can be adjusted (replace or reschedule procedures). The staff is friendly and attentive. But you need to understand that Pro Patria is the oldest hotel on Kupelny Island, so the hydropathic clinic has a somewhat shabby appearance, but it is clean and everything is well organized. Food - buffet breakfast - usual for most hotels. It was important to me what happened with cottage cheese and porridge. Excellent cheeses. In the morning, fruit only in the form of fruit salad. For lunch and dinner, hot dishes are made to order, a choice of four courses, everything is delicious. Not impressed with the vegetarian dishes. In my opinion this is the weak link of the kitchen. Salads in the form of a buffet - no frills - fresh and salted cucumbers, tomatoes, beets or carrots, greens. By the end of the meal, dishes are often not replenished. Only water to drink. You can order tea, wine or beer for a fee. The bar hosts a dance evening once a week. We ordered a transfer on the website - everything was great, we met and escorted us. The journey from Vienna airport took an hour and twenty minutes. But there was one problem, which is discussed below.

Hotel Pro Patria is perfectly located in the very center of Resort Island. Nearby are drinking springs and the most beautiful corners of the park. I lived in a Comfort category room and I can say that it fully corresponds to the 4 star category. High ceilings, thick walls of an ancient building and, as a result, excellent sound insulation. In the morning, with the window open, I woke up to the wonderful singing of birds. The hotel is directly connected to the medical department and this is very convenient, since after thermal procedures you can quickly get to your room and relax without leaving the building. The quality of treatment is beyond praise. I liked it very much, I felt the effect almost immediately, on the 3-4th day of treatment. Very competent doctors. The treatment program was drawn up very competently, taking into account all the associated problems. Separately, I would like to note the excellent work of the service manager from sanatoriums Veronica. She is very attentive, concerned and helps with any questions, professionally conducts various excursions. We went with her to Vienna and Trnava. It was very interesting. Many thanks to her!Negatives
The hotel does not provide a hot dinner on the day of arrival, limited to cold cuts and tea. This is not entirely clear, since this dinner is included in the price. The food is a little monotonous, but overall there is enough food. I advise you to come to the restaurant early, then there is a larger selection of buffet dishes.

Very attentive Russian-speaking doctors Natalya and Svetlana. I was surprised by the variety of procedures for any health condition. There is no imposition on them to purchase paid ones. I think that they are prescribed professionally. The location of the sanatorium is excellent, the island itself - the park is very beautiful and promotes healing. The comfort rooms correspond to a solid "4", the staff during all procedures is attentive and kind. From conversations with doctors, many come back again, because... dirt and water have a positive effect. We can’t say that this is negative, but there is a comment regarding nutrition. The daily salads are monotonous, there is no tea for lunch and dinner, but you can pay for it or in the sanatorium cafe.

An excellent sanatorium for those who want to get a calm, measured holiday with treatment. The schedule of procedures is drawn up so competently that 4-5 procedures a day are not at all annoying. You just enjoy pleasant, unobtrusive care for you. After mud and water treatments, it is pleasant to lie down carefully wrapped in a snow-white sheet and blanket. After Charcot showers and hydromassage baths, you are wrapped in a heated sheet. The resort food is beyond praise. The staff is discreetly friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day, snow-white towels are changed as they get dirty at least every day. The furniture is modest, but the mattresses are thick orthopedic, the blankets are light and warm, the insomnia disappeared instantly, we slept for 8-9 hours. I arrived and it was very painful to walk up the stairs (arthrosis of the knee joints), but after a week of taking the procedures I forgot about the pain and ran up the stairs like a girl. Many thanks to the website “sanatorium.com” and especially to Vladislav Bure for his attentive and sensitive attitude towards elderly, picky vacationers. We were received quickly and clearly. We paid for the reserved rooms by card. Everything is great. The luxurious park of the resort island plays a big role in treatment. Clean, well-groomed, many unusual trees. Thank you very much for a wonderful holiday and treatment!

I vacationed at Pro Patria from November 27 to December 13. I liked everything very much - the staff is very friendly, responsible, they always meet halfway in solving any issues, they do their work impeccably and efficiently. I really liked all the procedures that were prescribed to me. I rested my soul, body and healed my joints. I was very pleased with my vacation. Piestany is a nice, nice, calm town, the bathing island is excellent, a very beautiful park! I liked Slovakia, the people are polite and friendly, kind. I went on excursions to Vienna and Bratislava, everything was organized wonderfully. We lived in the Pro Patria sanatorium for two weeks. 48 procedures were prescribed, half of which took place in the neighboring Napoleon hospital, which is located 50 m from the main building. The treatment gave a positive result. We lived in a Comfort room, which is quite up to the 4* level. The hotel staff is friendly and almost everyone understands Russian. The food in the sanatorium for 2* is of high quality. It's close to the city. We ordered through the sanatorium. com round trip transfer from Vienna. Travel time 1 hour 40 minutes. We were met and escorted on time without delays. The impression from the trip to Piestany is very good.

Basically, all the procedures were carried out in the medical department itself, which is located in the Pro Patria building, they did mud applications well, did not spare mud, and applied a lot to the joints. I felt the effect from mud treatments. The massage was also done well. Of course, it is worth mentioning separately the thermal and mud pools. They are prescribed as procedures, their effect is remarkable. The room we stayed in deserves a positive rating, there are no complaints. In terms of nutrition, I will say that the food is quite modest. There is not a large selection of dishes, but you will never be hungry. In terms of the quality of preparation, I give it a satisfactory rating. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the rest and treatment.
