Period of stay at the hotel: 18.09 - 01.10.2016. I, my wife and a married couple of our friends really enjoyed the treatment, the relaxation, the work of all the staff, and the food. 1.Instead of the deluxe room we had chosen on the Internet, confirmed when booking by Sanatoriums and paid for, the hotel administration, to our regret, provided another room. We received an explanation from the hotel administration. This did not spoil the overall impression of staying at the hotel. But, nevertheless, we recommend that you correct the information about the rooms and in the photo gallery on the Internet. 2. There is no organization from the hotel for tourist trips to Venice, Padua, Verona, etc. If the hotel provided a bus and a guide, we believe it would be cheaper and easier for hotel guests than using the services of a city travel agency. When independently organizing trips by commuter buses and trains, unfortunately, a lot of time is lost.

The hotel is located very close to the resort's main park, Urbano Termale. Although, in my opinion, this is not a park, but rather an alley. Near the hotel there is a stop for the tourist train and the bus going to Montegrotto Terme. 90% of the hotel's guests are elderly or very elderly Italians. Bravo to the government, under which pensioners can afford to relax and recuperate in decent conditions. What I liked about the hotel: spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent dinners (thanks to the chef). The only thing was that sometimes we had to wait a long time for the ordered dish. An excellent thermal area and, most importantly, open until 10 pm, which is convenient for those who prefer trips to local attractions to passive contemplation of local beauties. And there are plenty of them here: Padua, Monselice, numerous monasteries, the Aeguan Hills, the Sengiari winery, and, of course, Venice.Negatives
The view from the balcony is something: building blocks with metal pins sticking up. Hard pillows. For me it's a bath. I would like a shower stall. Quite monotonous breakfasts, lack of any cereals.

First impressions were spoiled by poor placement: instead of a double “comfort” room, we got a single room, only the next day, after an urgent request, they changed the room. The refrigerator didn't work well, and we couldn't tune in to the Russian channel on TV for 2 days.

I would especially like to thank the Russian-speaking receptionist Maria (she resolved any issues that arose and tried her best to make you comfortable), and also many thanks to the medical workers Lydia and Maria (they carry out the procedures very carefully and tactfully). Feeling this attitude of the staff, I want to return to the hotel!!! The food at the hotel is excellent! We took full board and were very pleased. We stayed in a Deluxe room, it was quite spacious and comfortable. Bedding and towels were changed every day and cleaning was done very thoroughly. 1) convenient location of the hotel: in the city center, near a bus stop; 2) thermal pools with excellent hydromassage are open from 08 to 22 hours; 3) very good food; 4) high-quality medical procedures; 5) stable Wi-Fi throughout the hotel; 6) Russian-speaking manager Maria at the reception is always ready to answer all questions; 7) daily thorough cleaning of the room. Special thanks to the staff of Sanatoriums and especially to Vaclav, who is responsible for the Italian direction, for the precise organization of recreation and transfer. My husband and I were in Abano Terme for the first time and we really enjoyed it. Our compatriots, whom we met and who have been coming to this resort for 4 - 5 years, previously vacationed in other hotels, but chose the Venice Hotel.

Smoking is allowed outside near the pool. For us, as non-smokers, this caused discomfort. Sometimes the mud treatment was scheduled for 5 am, which is a little early. But there were only 2 such days out of 10. On the remaining days, the time was convenient.

Among the staff I would really like to highlight Maria, who seems to speak all languages and is always ready to listen and help in solving problems that arise. Excellent massage therapists, especially Gianni and Marianna. Very good food (lunch and dinner). The hotel has an entertainment program on Thursdays - dancing, and there was also a fashion show. The rooms are clean, linen and towels are cleaned and changed daily. There is one Russian channel on TV and free Wi-Fi. For Russian tourists, free tea from the samovar. One could ignore this, but: when checking into the hotel, they tried to change the room category (instead of “superior” - “comfort” - without a balcony, in the end they were placed on the 1st floor with access to a canopy, on which there was a broken bottle), in the room the closet door and the door closing the safe were broken, but at my request they were not repaired within 2 weeks; there are no large-sized gowns (I had to wear the same gown for 2 weeks for procedures); There is construction going on at the hotel and it is difficult to get to the pump room with water; monotonous breakfasts; it is difficult to sign up for procedures at a convenient time or reschedule procedures; requires constant activation of Wi-Fi, which does not work everywhere. The staff, except Maria, does not understand Russian, so I had to use all my knowledge of Italian and English.

We really enjoyed our stay in Abano Terme, and we were glad that we booked a tour through the website Sanatoriums.com. Firstly, the guys speak Russian, respond very quickly to questions asked and try to help. We liked the hotel, located in the city center. The rooms are spacious and clean. Towels were changed every day, cleaning was excellent. The staff is attentive and smiling. There is a girl working there, Maria, who knows Russian and tries to help. There is a special conversation about food. If breakfast is ordinary, then lunch and dinner are something... In short, there is freedom for gourmets... The only thing that may have turned out to be unnecessary for us is treatment, because there are wonderful pools with thermal water and strong hydromassages that could replace regular massage. Well that's my opinion. We combined treatment and travel. Yes, what is important is to discuss the time of the procedures in advance, because if you want to go on excursions or go for walks, it is better to do the procedures earlier. We went to Padua and Venice on our own, and to Vicenza and the Euganean Hills (highly recommend!) we took organized excursions, which can be booked both through Sanatoriums.com and through the Russian-language bureau IDEA Relax, which is located in the city center on the promenade.
