We vacationed at the Abano Terme resort for the first time, Hotel Terme Venice. The hotel is located very conveniently, close to the pedestrian area, park, shops and cafes. There is a Russian-speaking girl Sabrina at the hotel reception. She quickly checked us into our room and resolved all issues that arose regarding our stay at the hotel. Thank you very much to Lydia for the quality of the procedures. My husband and I took half board, everything was very tasty, especially the dinners. At the restaurant, the waitress Tatyana speaks Russian and was always willing to help with translating the menu and choosing dishes. The hotel has a good spa area, two swimming pools, one of which is outdoors. The water in them is thermal (with the addition of chlorine). The resort is conveniently located for traveling to neighboring towns. Such as Venice, Verona, Padua. My husband and I traveled independently. Treatment at the hotel is planned in the morning, so you can also have time to go on excursions.Negatives
I spent a long time choosing a room, I wanted a better one, since this trip was organized for our birthdays. We were accommodated in a junior suite on the 1st floor, 118. The balcony of this room overlooks a roof covered with roofing felt. The smell of roofing felt made it impossible to open the door to the balcony. This is a very big minus. The plumbing in the bathroom is in need of repair, water from the shower is leaking onto the floor, the shower head is broken. The administrator Sabrina promised to fix it, but nothing was fixed during the 12 days of rest. They didn't offer another room. We were there for the third time. During this time, an extension was built to the hotel and thereby increased the number of rooms, but there were no more staff members, which led to negative aspects. In the restaurant, the waiters cannot cope with the number of visitors; in the morning at breakfast there is simply not enough dishes - you have to stand in line for cups. The quality of room cleaning has become noticeably worse. During the week of stay, the bed linen was never changed, only the pillowcases were changed. The dishes in the restaurant are very dirty - on almost every plate there are remnants of stuck and not washed food, the same with the cups. At the SPA, some massage therapists (Manola, Cynthia) do not respect the time allotted for the procedure and perform the massage frankly weakly - this applies not only to package services, but also to additional ones.
