The head doctor is also very smart and reasonable. An appointment with a gynecologist was a waste of time and money - she doesn’t even have a basic ultrasound. The advice was also strange, to say the least. The administrative nurses do everything they need, but it’s as if you’re not very welcome - hello, Soviet of Deputies 😆 The massage is weak. The procedures last 15-20 minutes - every time I wanted a little longer! But this is rather the norm everywhere. Others have already written about drinks: this is somewhat unusual for Russians, but at lunch and dinner they really need to be paid for separately, they cost 2-3 euros. This applies to tea and coffee, as well as soft and alcoholic drinks.

Accommodation, I ordered a twin, was on vacation with my daughter, was not presented and the Sanatoriums and the hotel pointed fingers at each other and did nothing. Extremely inattentive staff, half board was ordered, they tried to calculate full board twice, sent the voucher more than once, they were upset, apologized and tried to get money again. They didn’t even offer treatment, for example, a blood test (we didn’t need it), they didn’t even try to recommend a drinking course, the basis of Czech treatment, which I personally was surprised by. The procedures are scheduled until the end of the day of stay and at the same time they are extremely urgently required to vacate the room before 10 o’clock in the morning, it seems that the medical part and the hotel are completely different organizations that are not on very good terms, I told the hotel management about this, they rolled their eyes, apologized, but I'm sure no one will fix anything. They are trying to transfer some procedures to additional payment, which was absolutely not the case, for example, in Marianske Lazne. Cleaning the rooms, I think it took about 5-10 minutes, for fun I threw a couple of stones on the floor in the room, after cleaning where they lay there and remained. The food, with a small number of guests, was of a fairly decent level, but there was a large arrival, there were queues at food outlets and the quality dropped quite sharply, I did not understand the reason, either an increase in guests or a change in the kitchen team. The general conclusion is that if you go to Frantiskovy Lazne not in winter, stay in some hotel in the city, take the necessary procedures for money and go to the Aquaforum, but definitely not the Pawlik Hotel. I think we’ll write a review a little later on the website of the Sanatorium and the hotel, including in German, my daughter speaks the language.

I really liked the town of Frantiskovy Lazne. Clean air, many drinking springs, beautiful places for hiking. I liked the sanatorium because of the set of procedures that are not available in other sanatoriums, for example, in Germany or France. The effect of gas injections was promised in 2 weeks. And reading reviews here from other visitors to this sanatorium, we were counting on a good massage, but either we were unlucky, but.. massages of 12 - 15 minutes were not very good, with the exception of one times with the massage therapist Svoboda. There were problems with parking, there weren’t enough spaces for everyone and they had to park at the Aquaforum.

The hotel is very well located, next to the park, close to the springs (5-10 minutes walk). We had a superior room, no complaints about the accommodation, the cleaning was also good. Almost all procedures take place in the neighboring building, a specialized hospital, which is connected to the hotel by a warm underground passage, which is very convenient, especially in the cold season. The hotel is also connected to the aqua forum water complex. The hotel staff speaks Czech, German and some Russian. It’s too early to talk about treatment, but the attitude of the doctor and nurses left only a good impression.Negatives
The ground floor has a very poor ventilation system and smells like food. When leaving the hotel, the employee at the counter first reported the full amount to be paid and only after payment provided a printout of all services provided. In response to my question why the final amount did not correspond to the prices indicated in the list, she asked (attention!!!) to pay another 2000 CZK for the minibar. Moreover, all drinks from the minibar were already included in the bill. It should be noted that the general tone of the employee was as if we were planning to leave without payment, despite the fact that we had already paid an amount greater than that indicated on the invoice. In response to my requests to somehow sort out this situation together, the girls at the counter were completely unresponsive. Perhaps it was due to the fact that the reception staff do not speak English at all, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for a European hotel. My advice is to strongly ask to print the invoice before paying and check it carefully.

A bicycle costs 160 CZK (400 rubles) for the minimum possible 6 hours - if you take it every day it turns out expensive(((, for 20 days - 8,000 rubles - you can buy it). On the 1st and 2nd floors there is a constant smell of food - the ventilation is a problem, but after a few days you resign yourself. In the Aquaforum there is a sauna for extra money, like 200 CZK or so for 2 hours..., it was not convenient for me, because I went in the evening, at closing time. There are few staff who speak Russian and English.

Problems with Russian and English. They speak mainly Czech and German. In July, vacationers come with a large number of children, including babies. And mothers go with strollers to procedures, to the dining room, etc. (In the CIS, children over 12 years old are still allowed in the sanatorium). Advertising does not always correspond to reality. So, neither procedures nor a doctor were found about the claimed treatment of skin diseases. The therapist and gynecologist did not respond to complaints of skin rashes. The same goes for menopause and its consequences. For the postoperative leg, I had to beg for paid procedures - Lymphatic drainage, but paraffin on the hands is mandatory for everyone. We figured everything out only on day 20. Please, for those who need to explain in more detail where, where and why. (For residents of the CIS).

As a small note, it is impossible to get additional massage sessions, even for an additional fee (but this is probably due to the large number of vacationers), which is also indirect praise for the Pawlik sanatorium. Also: no additional research was carried out on arriving clients, although this was included in the mandatory list of services when booking and paying for accommodation on the Sanatoriums website, and there were no specific recommendations for the purpose of mineral springs (for drinking), just a general printout of the chemical composition was given - on customer acumen.

Upon arrival, we were placed in a room of a different category than we had booked. The next day we were moved to a comfort room. The room is good on the 4th floor, but on the 2nd and 3rd floors there was renovation going on and there was terrible noise and noise all day long, what kind of rest is there? The elevator was always dirty and busy with workers; we had to wait a long time for it. The staircase was closed, which is not at all required for safety reasons. Nobody informed us about this. At the end of our “vacation” we needed to take a printout of the procedures for our health insurance company and we were very surprised when they demanded 4 euros per person for a simple piece of paper (we didn’t pay for them in Marianske Lazne). But it was even more offensive when the honey. the sister (no one told us her last name) demanded that we pay another 4 euros in order to write an invoice for the additional procedures we had purchased. We had doctor's prescriptions for 6 massages, but we received 3, so we bought three more. Honey. my sister refused to include them in the general bill. She spoke to us in a raised voice, ruined our whole mood, and only after the intervention of an office worker did we receive the second invoices for free. A very good procedure is mud baths, but when you get up from it and splash on a terribly dirty and cold floor into another room, it is not at all pleasant. There is no information anywhere about drinking sources; the doctor did not inform us at all what and from what, how and how much to drink....
