Positives

Everything is good enough. The staff is polite, the procedures are varied. The city is small, cozy, well-kept forest parks.

Negatives

Since there are not very many guests from Russia, there are no organized excursions with a Russian-speaking guide. If there is, then from Karlovy Vary, which you need to get to by taxi, and it’s not cheap, or by train and bus, which is not very convenient.

Positives

Excellent location of the sanatorium, super water park, excellent treatments.

Negatives

The food is monotonous and tasteless. The medical staff, one might say, are not making any concessions; they were 3 minutes late for the procedure, which means it was lost and is not being restored at all.

Positives

I really hope for a positive result of the treatment. I can’t say any positive things about the sanatorium itself.

Negatives

It’s too early to talk about treatment. My husband and I's accommodation was not very comfortable. I twisted my ankle already at the sanatorium, on the way from the Aquaforum to my room. We asked to change the room, but they did not accommodate us. Only for an additional fee. Although their room remained empty until we left. In general, the staff does not make any concessions and does not want to make your stay comfortable. On the contrary, he does everything so that you don’t want to come back. We left with an unpleasant feeling. There was no positive response to any of our requests. Even when we were leaving for 2 days and I asked to move our lunch to the day of departure, they said that the fact that we were leaving for a couple of days was our problem. I have never encountered this in any hotel/sanatorium in the last 25 years. Nowhere was it written that parking would be paid. They promised internet, but we never received a modem; they explained that there were no free modems. Meals are intended only for the elderly and people on a diet. It is impossible to eat food. People who are young and are treated, for example, according to women’s treatment, are not taken into account at all. In any case, it was hard for my husband and I to eat.

Positives

Lovely hotel in an old building. The rooms are cozy, clean, the furniture is new. The food was excellent. Very thoughtful on your website with food, treatments and transfers. Nice staff. easy to reach from Prague airport. The resort itself is delightful for a relaxing holiday. I wandered through the parks all day long - extraordinary beauty. It’s great that it’s connected to the medical building and the aquaforum. Aquaforum also makes an impression. I think we should go until the end of September at the latest, when it’s beautiful and it’s still warm to walk. I had a lot of fun! I will use your site's recommendations again!!! Thank you!!!

Negatives

The staff speaks almost no Russian. Doesn't speak English at all. No one explained how to drink water, where it came from and why. I found out during interrogation with passion)) I didn’t know about the existence of any other procedures, such as cosmetic ones.. The age of the vacationers is 90% - 60-85 years. The remaining 10% are 40-60 years old. This is clearly not a resort for young people. But this gives a certain charm and mood to the holiday.

Positives

The course of prescribed treatment was very effective. A wonderful Aquaforum and an excellent opportunity to visit it free of charge directly from the hotel at any convenient time. I was pleased with the presence of several Russian TV channels.

Negatives

The staff cleaning the premises begins to make noise and talk loudly from 6 o'clock in the morning, which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for a sanatorium. For dinner, only cold and hot water is offered for drinks! The choice of dishes is not very diverse. Salt does not spill out of the salt shakers, because... it is wet and the holes in the salt shaker are small. Juices for breakfast (except for the disgusting tomato juice) are not much different from water. There is no logic in supplying hot water to the heated towel rail, so things that were wet after the pool did not always dry out.

Positives

In my opinion, the Pawlik sanatorium has the most convenient location, because... it is connected to the Aquaforum, which guests of the sanatorium can freely access at any time, and they can visit it directly in a bathrobe, which is also much more convenient than changing into outerwear. The sanatorium also has a passage through the same Aquaforum to the medical building of Cesarske Lazne, where most procedures are carried out. In good weather, you can get to these buildings along the street, it’s very close. Visiting the Aquaforum for guests of Pawlik and a number of other sanatoriums is not limited, which is also very convenient and economical in time and money. Entry/exit through the turnstiles is made using a chip in the form of a wristwatch, which is issued to each visitor for the duration of their stay. These “clocks” also open/close lockers, where you can leave all your things and not worry about anything. The Aquaforum itself deserves a separate positive assessment - a huge water area with many different types of hydromassage, there is a separate swimming pool, as well as a large outdoor pool with cascades, fountains, slides and a wriggling pipe slide. There is also a gym, yoga sessions, a cafe, a store with swimwear and an “Imperial” spring. I was lucky with the placement, because... I booked a single room, but was placed in a double room without any additional charges. Cleaning is done every day, seven days a week, and very quickly. While you are running through the procedures, they already have time to put things in order in your room. Even if the maid finds you in your room, it doesn’t bother you at all. I took two meals a day - breakfast and dinner, which is quite enough. Breakfast is monotonous, but the names of dishes alternate every day. Appetizers, cuts and salads for dinner are also the same almost every day, but the main hot dishes are different, there is plenty to choose from. Fruits were given every day: red and yellow watermelons, different varieties of melon, apples, pears, kiwis, peaches, plums, tangerines, oranges, grapefruits, bananas. Varied and delicious desserts, it’s impossible not to be tempted :). The sanatorium staff, doctors, nurses are partially Russian-speaking, some speak good Russian, and mutual understanding is quite achieved. Everyone is polite, friendly, courteous, caring. When meeting, they always say “Good day” or “Good early” with a smile. In general, I liked everything, I received positive feelings and a boost of health from my vacation. Frantiskovy Lazne is a small resort town located in a park area, which means clean air, amazing flora and fauna - huge centuries-old oak trees, various birds, squirrels running on the ground, voracious ducks, a swan taking bread from a hand... Morning, daytime and evening walks to the springs, cycling, swimming, hydromassage had a positive effect - they toned up a lot and even pumped up their abdominal muscles, and their waist gained a brighter outline. I can’t say anything about the effectiveness of the treatment yet, it will become clear later...

Negatives

There are also a few downsides to staying at the resort. The first surprise happened at a doctor’s appointment, when I was told that if I wanted to see a gynecologist, I had to pay extra, because... I have a category B number, they showed me the price list. Naturally, I agreed, because I came with a main gynecological disease. It’s just that no one warned about the additional payment. The gynecologist asked me in surprise: “They told you to pay extra for the consultation?” She also asked where I work (why is this even necessary???), and began some kind of interrogation - why and why. Seeing that I was not in the mood for revelations, she said that she was also a sexologist and she needed to know about all my problems. This is also not clear - why? I came with a specific problem, with test results, everything was already clear without questions. Well, in the end the questions ended and she examined me. Then she offered to pay her extra, bypassing the reception, without saying anything about it to the leading doctor. She asked how much I was willing to pay extra. I said that they showed me the price list, I don’t remember the amount, but I’ll pay as much as necessary, the main thing is that they don’t demand anything more from me later. I paid 25 euros and that was the end of the conversation with the gynecologist-sexologist. She, of course, wished me well and promised to keep her fingers crossed for me. All the best to her too, I have no complaints on this issue, there is only a misunderstanding of the situation... There is such a minus as the lack of a kettle in the room. You can order a tea corner for an additional fee (I didn’t find out what it includes). But it is best to take a thermos with you. In the restaurant you can fill it with boiling water... There are still problems with excursions. Before the trip, I asked a question about this by email. They sent me a completely useless link with a Google search. It's like I can't do the search myself. I asked a question in the hope that the people who were there on the spot had more reliable information about who and where to contact. But I didn't receive anything. When meeting me at the Prague airport, the driver gave me advertising brochures on excursions, but with departure only from Karlovy Vary or Marianske Lazne. He said that we could arrange to go on an excursion from Frantiskovy Lazne. But, unfortunately, I didn’t get through to those numbers. At the hotel they gave me the phone number of Olga, who runs excursions from France Lazne. And it turns out that she is the only one who organizes them. But prices are 2-3 times more expensive than for Czechs and Germans, if you compare identical excursions, and some excursions take at least 2 people. And yet I managed to go on an excursion to Prague, one might say I was lucky, because... Another girl signed up for the same excursion. It is a pity that the opportunity to go on an excursion from the information center is not implemented for Russian tourists, as is the case for Czech and German vacationers. Something like a cold happened to me. The weather changed sharply from hot to cold, apparently it was blowing. I took a lot of different pills from home, but for some reason I forgot about cold remedies. I had to buy it at a local pharmacy, the drugs there are really expensive. But neither the nasal spray nor the cough lozenges helped, it was getting worse, it looked like the temperature had risen. I went to the leading doctor. There is a notice on her door: "On vacation. Contact the nurses." The nurses were sent to the head physician. The head doctor asked to show the card, asked if there was a temperature (instead of offering to measure it), and said that he needed to buy medicine at the pharmacy. Without him, I didn’t know that I needed to do this. The only way he helped was to suggest which pills to buy... At the final examination with the leading doctor, I told her that I had a cold, she asked in surprise: “And you did all the procedures?” Those. Apparently it was impossible in such a state, but who else would say about it... And one more thing, but this is not even really a minus, but some kind of inconvenience. Early rise, you need to immediately run to the springs, procedures, breakfast, aquaforum. This, of course, is all for the good, but I also wanted to get some sleep, it was a vacation after all. At first you have to force yourself, but then you get used to it and it’s possible to wake up before the alarm clock and running around at the resort is not a burden.

Positives

Quiet, small, very cozy town of Frantiskovy Lazne. The weather could change dramatically every day: snow, sun and snow again, which was not at all a burden. The hotel is very well located, everything is within walking distance. My husband's tachycardia, which had been tormenting him for the past 4 months, disappeared. I would like to come back here again. It was very nice to receive birthday greetings from the hotel management.

Positives

1) Aquaforum is a great place to relax. Beautiful architecture and design. 2) Cesarske Lazne - it’s very convenient that there is a passage and you don’t need to go outside. 3) Gratitude to Dr. Tachieva Amulanga for her professionalism! 4) An interesting and creative approach by the designer to interior design for Easter.

Negatives

1) The Internet in the room is so weak that we had to go down from the room to the first floor to have a conversation on Skype, which is extremely inconvenient. 21 century!!! 2) Restaurant: a) I really didn’t like the attitude of the staff when they had to take food 20-30 minutes before the end of the OFFICIAL time!!! b) several times I had to refuse the first course because it tasted like it was made from Maggi cubes or similar chemicals; c) watching how the staff laid out cutlery was not for the faint of heart: in fact, we then use these cutlery to eat!!! Wear gloves!!! I had to thoroughly wipe the knives, forks and spoons with a napkin each time; 3) Of course, I am for the development of intelligence, but if a hotel offers its services to citizens of the Russian Federation, then let it also take care of the knowledge of the language of these citizens by medical staff!

Positives

Attentive nurses performing procedures. Convenient underground passage to the medical building of Cesarske Lazne (no need to go outside), the ability to use the Aquaforum complex without restrictions. Special thanks to Vladislav for prompt answers and help in choosing a sanatorium.

Negatives

There is not enough information about the full list of procedures (with their brief descriptions and recommendations) that the sanatorium can offer. Unfortunately, there is an increase in prices (about 10%) for treatment during the 2015-2016 season.

Positives

Very good location - good hotel - good service - cleanliness - excellent water from the springs - beautiful town - opportunity for walks - good water park.

Negatives

3-star hotel - small rooms - no air conditioning - no internet in the rooms - impossible to choose the time and order of procedures - therefore there is no logic to the treatment - having done one, I completely refused to continue. If I go I will only drink mineral water from the springs, go for a walk and the water park.

Positives

An incredibly quiet hotel, although quite a lot of people lived there, the atmosphere was calm everywhere. There are a lot of Germans on vacation, and they are not fussy. Ideal for older people. The food is amazing. The treatment takes place in the adjacent building; you can enter it through a passage right in your dressing gown.

Positives

First time in Frantiskovy Lazne. I really liked the resort, nice quiet atmosphere, even a little boring. Ideal for relieving stress. The Pavlik Hotel suited me quite well in terms of accommodation and food. The treatment was carried out in the Cisarske lazne building, which can be reached in a couple of minutes via an internal passage. There were many procedures, and in 2 weeks I noticed significant improvements. I won’t say that it was the procedures that helped; the very fact of being at the resort also means a lot, especially since there was no stress, walks and excursions did their job.

Positives

We lived and received treatment at Pavlik for 3 weeks. We absolutely liked everything, but there were some minor difficulties with communication at the reception since the girls there don’t know Russian at all. Broken English helped. The doctor in Pavlik is good and makes competent prescriptions. The treatment is complex, there are water procedures, electrical procedures, mud procedures, and gymnastics. Everything together gives good results + we went to the springs to drink water.
