A large sanatorium with a spacious medical center, equipped with everything you need, rehabilitation pools, radon baths, rehabilitation equipment. Almost all diseases of the musculoskeletal system are treated. We took a course of radon baths and underwent intensive physical rehabilitation - amazing results, it became much easier. Thank you very much to the doctor and the staff of the medical department.

We were advised to go to Jáchymov by friends who have been coming here for two years in a row to treat their spine. I have severe kyphosis, my husband has advanced osteochondrosis. To be honest, we only went to try radon treatment because we were told that radon itself helps to relieve pain for a long time. It turns out there is a whole complex of all kinds of rehabilitation procedures. In the pool, in the gym, massages, electrotherapy - in general, everything is complete. There were a lot of procedures and by the end of the first week it was even a little difficult - after all, the load on the body was serious. But we are very pleased with the effect. We have never seen such a strong treatment anywhere else.

The quality of treatment in the sanatorium is excellent. I liked the medical center, it’s very large, there are a lot of rooms, there were never queues, everything was clearly scheduled down to the minute (because there are a lot of Germans resting and receiving treatment, everything is designed for them). It was absolutely impossible to plan excursions on weekdays. The schedule of procedures was intensive, in the second half I just wanted to lie down and relax. There were no procedures on Saturday, only radon baths were performed. On Sunday it was possible to travel for the whole day.

The effect of treatment manifests itself in different ways, for some almost immediately, for others after 2-3 weeks. Here the service seemed to us to be organized at a higher level. And food too. It’s difficult to say anything about the quality of treatment. Radon treatment is the same, the set of procedures is approximately the same. Overall the atmosphere at Radium Palace is better.

We had some doubts about radon treatment because we read that for residents of cities where there are nuclear power plants, radon can provoke the growth of tumors. The doctor reassured us and explained the treatment mechanism in detail. Every day they prescribed one radon bath. My health has really improved a lot.
