The best impressions of treatment and relaxation at the Radium Palace sanatorium! A picturesque place, cozy rooms, friendly, polite and helpful staff. There are a lot of equipped paths and forest paths for walking around the hotel. There is a bus stop 100 meters from the hotel - you can go to the nearest towns on your own - they are very picturesque! The treatments were very good and very well scheduled and structured. The accommodation in the junior suite was very good. However, the mattresses were firm and took a lot of getting used to. Room cleaning no complaints. The stay was somewhat marred by the location of the room (3rd floor, street side), the traffic and the stream. The food was good to very good. The buffet was constantly being refilled. Overall, I would book the spa hotel again (possibly on the forest side) if I were to stay in Jachymov again.Negatives
Sauna: The sauna should be a textile-free area (multilingual notice and pictogram). Unfortunately, many guests did not adhere to this. Visits to the sauna were often done in bathing suits, or "completely free of textiles", i.e. without a sauna towel, naked on the wood. Many visitors also cooled down in the immersion bath without showering first. That doesn't work at all. The hotel needs to improve here.Positives
We came to Jáchymov for the second time for treatment of osteoarthritis. Radon baths are the most important treatment and help a lot. The effect of radon appears 3-4 weeks after completion of treatment & lasts up to 12 months. Radium Palace is a very beautiful hotel, built 100 years ago. Several years ago it was restored and reconstructed, now everything there is modern. High ceilings, beautiful hallways, wonderful & polite staff. All treatment under one roof is very convenient. The food is wonderful, very tasty, like homemade, a lot of choice, lots of vegetables and fruits. Everything is organized exceptionally well. The staff speaks a little Russian.Negatives
