The quality of food is puzzling, like in a Soviet sanatorium. It’s strange to see this in the Czech Republic, where any small restaurant will give a head start, in terms of food quality, to many in Moscow. I advise everyone to be very careful with food and better limit themselves to breakfast at this hotel. Unfortunately, we were punished. And for two days we came to our senses in the room. There were quite a few people like us in our race. Don’t repeat our mistakes.

There weren't enough vegetables at breakfast, and hair was found in salads twice. A woman gives a massage very poorly, instead of 30 minutes - 15 minutes. She uses cups instead of her hands. She does it very roughly, leading to bruises. I think that this is not acceptable. My husband was lucky, he got a man for the first massage - he was very pleased. And for the second The woman got the massage and also had bruises all over her back, the procedure lasted 15 minutes. The massage really spoiled the holiday experience.

In addition, remembering the reviews I read before the trip, I was very surprised by some. People probably forget that they are choosing a 3-star hotel, not a 5-star one. Simply excellent service from the administrative staff. I had problems with both the safe and the plumbing, everything was fixed instantly, my request was transferred to a specialist and he immediately appeared in my room (I’m sorry I don’t know his name0. The room was cleaned and linen and towels were changed regularly way!. And the medical staff performing the procedures - there are no words to thank them for their professionalism and friendliness. I especially want to mention Monica, Raya and Galya. The kitchen for the first two weeks did not cause delight, but I understand what kind of money I’m paying. But for the third time I I was simply delighted with the prepared dishes for dinner. Probably a lot still depends on the products supplied. Breakfast - buffet - no delight, but no complaints either. No worse than in other hotels I have visited previously, including 4 star-studded. Is this how we eat breakfast at home? Some people find it monotonous, because we eat everything every day, and don’t choose one thing, and then every day will be different. In general, many thanks to all the hotel staff. If I go to Marianske Lazne again (I live in Khabarovsk and the road is very difficult and expensive), and my health allows me to go uphill, I will definitely choose the Devin Hotel. I personally have one minus - the entrance to the hotel is via two staircases. The hotel itself is located on a hill in relation to the main highway for walking and going to the mineral springs (colonnade). There is an entrance to the ground floor level, from where there is an elevator to the other 3 floors, but it is not used for residents. I’ll write a negative that my friend encountered (she lived on the 1st floor) - problems with the plumbing in the hotel, But she talks about the need for some kind of major repairs in the hotel (water poured several times from the ceiling in the bathroom), and not about the bad regarding service personnel.

In my room at the Devin Hotel on the 1st floor, the bathroom and bathtub flooded three times during my two-week stay. Moreover, we had to not turn on the table lamp by the bed; the socket was sparking and very loud (at night). When using the bathroom in the next room, flushing the water and using the taps can wake you up at night (partitions between the bathrooms of the rooms do not protect from the noise of flowing water). Obviously, low-quality (plastic) polyethylene pipes are installed in the bathrooms.

We regretted that we bought a standard course of treatment along with accommodation and meals. I advise you to buy treatment locally and choose the procedures that are truly necessary. The hotel's masseuse was on sick leave and Galina, invited from outside, either worked "carelessly" or massaged until she was bruised. Just like the new girl, Raya, from the first day, was actively advertising her personal beauty salon during bath procedures. The older sister, Monica, had no complaints, treated us with respect and tried to make everything as convenient as possible for the hotel guests. It was a long way from the springs, but there was a need to walk more - from hill to hill.
