We were in the sanatorium from February 12 to February 24. Everything is very good, in my opinion, physical education classes in the gym were unnecessary. This time could have been devoted to a medical procedure, of which, in our opinion, there were few. Mud envelopes, for example, or massage. By the way, the massage was also different, young specialist girls do an excellent massage, the older lady can say that it’s only stroking. The room was cleaned every day and very well. Few are prescribed the basic procedures on which the entire treatment is based, namely: mud, thermal pool, classic massage (the massage therapists here are good). 4 muds are prescribed for a 14-night stay, thermal pool - 6, classic massage - 5. The rest is all the accompanying procedures that are available in any sanatorium. I had to purchase additional basic procedures in order to do them every day if possible. In the end the result is very good

There aren't many downsides. 1.In the shower stall, the shower holder is designed only for tall people. With my height of 150 cm, it is simply not possible to use it. 2. Complete lack of free sockets in the room. 3. lack of a kettle in the room. 4. Very low level of the restaurant. The food is mostly not tasty (there was even spoiled milk for breakfast) and the menu is very monotonous. Even if you find suitable dishes on this menu, eating the same thing for 2 weeks gets very boring

- during the initial examination by a doctor, the patient’s current condition is not fully assessed and a procedure is prescribed that caused complications and pain. When contacting another doctor (obviously, with a longer practice), the procedure was canceled and appropriate therapy was carried out to relieve pain; - not all reception staff are able to provide service or answer at the required level; - the pillows in the room are uncomfortable, it is not possible to replace them with others, as happens in other hotels; - there are not the required number of umbrellas in the hall in case of rain; - I didn’t like the food in the restaurant, despite all the efforts of the staff.

If we take the procedure of a classic massage, then this is a different story: yes, some massage therapists do a classic massage perfectly and take 20 minutes, while some massage therapists do it very poorly and take 12-15 minutes instead of 20.Negatives
This was the first time I encountered such a situation that, having ordered additional procedures in advance, that is, a day or two in advance, I could not refuse. When I had a very bad classical massage and I decided to give it up the next day, it was a shock for me. At the reception, two employees (a man and a woman) made me a big scandal and shocked me that I was losing 50% of the cost of services that were not provided to me and I had not yet paid for them. I can't understand why I have to pay for poor quality services. No matter where I have been, I have never encountered such rudeness and rudeness. I would like to say that this was my fourth time at the resort in Piestany. It so happened that before this I went to the Thermia Palas hotel three times and no questions regarding cancellation or postponement of procedures ever arose. Because of this situation, I could not lower my blood pressure for three days. It turns out that if you feel bad after the procedure or don’t like how it’s done, then you cannot refuse this procedure. I believe that all human rights are violated here; what is written on the resort card “Conditions for refusing additional procedures and medical services: - more than 4 hours before the scheduled start of the procedure - 50% of the cost will be charged” is nonsense. It turns out that the person feels bad, but he must go and take this or that procedure. We didn't like the service in the restaurant. This is, of course, terrible when a person has not yet had time to eat, and from behind him the waiter “You can take it away” and takes the plate over his head. There have been cases when, roughly speaking, rubbish falls on you from a plate. And it was somehow unsettling to watch how untidy waiters were running from the kitchen into the hall from the hall to the kitchen with plates and opening the door with their feet. Or the waiter takes some kind of detergent and sprays it on the surface where the prepared food is, and then wipes it with a not very fresh rag. Sorry, but somehow I don’t even want to remember all this and relive it all again.

We have an idea about a number of resort places, such as Kislovodsk, Druskininkai, Teplice in the Czech Republic and some others. We must say that the level and scope of the proposed health procedures and services corresponds to the declared ones, not to mention the special uniqueness of the local healing factors - Piestany peloid mud and mineral water. I was left with vivid impressions of the atmosphere of the resort, and most importantly, feeling great!Negatives
In this section we can note several points that may be significant individually for us. In terms of communication, an older age still prevails than we expected. This is normal for a spa hotel, which offers not only spa treatment, but time-tested treatment for serious problems of the musculoskeletal system. Perhaps there is some seasonality in this situation. The second point, even less significant, although we cannot help but note it, was that we were a little surprised by the lack of tea for dinner, it’s not difficult and inexpensive. In general, we are grateful to all the staff - from doctors to receptionists and maids for their attentive and friendly attitude. This is the main thing on vacation.
