Before going there we read all the reviews, many complained about the cleaning of the rooms and we thought that they would solve this problem..... but this did not happen. They don't clean the rooms at all, they just pretend! Dust everywhere. Bathrobes are not changed unless you ask. The stairs between the floors were never cleaned for 2 weeks while we were there! The hotel does not meet the four star requirements. The bed is bad and uncomfortable. The bed should be changed more often and not once every seven days. Few are prescribed the basic procedures on which all treatment is based, namely: mud, thermal pool, classical massage. Mud for 11 nights of stay is assigned 3, thermal pool 7, classic massage 3. The rest are all related procedures that are available in any sanatorium. In the evening it was very difficult to catch the staff and order a drink. The operation of the outdoor pool should be extended until 22-00, because... after dinner many people go swimming. There is no evening program and it becomes very boring in the evening.

Hotel Balnea Palace is clearly not a 4-star hotel, at most 3 stars. The rooms are small, cramped, with a minimum of amenities, there is no balcony, there is no coffee maker in the room, very small wardrobes. The price for the room is clearly too high. I'm not sure that we will stay at this hotel again next time. The food in the restaurant is average, again not up to 4 stars.

The building needs major repairs, especially the windows and plumbing, because... This, of course, does not reach the level of 4 stars. There are no complaints about the food, I especially liked the soups, salads, and vegetables for dinner, but I would like more variety. But for breakfast, croissants were often not fresh, which is also unacceptable for a hotel of this level. We would like to extend the opening hours of the restaurant in the morning until at least 11 a.m., so that people undergoing treatment could have time to have breakfast at least after the procedures. Also, when selecting procedures, the doctor must not only be guided by a computer program, but also take into account the time factor and logic; during the initial examination, this should be immediately looked at and asked. The prices for drinks at the bar are quite expensive, and this is also one of the minuses. I would also like to have some quiet entertaining games, such as billiards and chess, so that people could somehow while away their leisure time in bad or rainy weather
